I had the best breakfast sandwich of my whole entire life here. It was a sandwich with bacon, cheddar, cheese, a croissant, pesto, and a tomato. I ate it in one minute. I could definitely eat 20 of them in a row. I highly recommend this place. SO GOOD!!! GO HERE!!!

The Vermont State Capitol is such a wonderful visit. The tour guides are so friendly, and filled with so many tidbits and funny stories about Vermont. For a work place, they're pretty open about it, and you can walk through most of the areas, with or without a tour group. The paintings on display are spectacular especially the one showing the Battle of Cedar Creek. A definite must stop on a tour of Montpelier .

The coffee was well priced with a plethora of options. The cafe was busy with all different types of people. Definitely a great spot to satisfy my caffeine fix.

Great coffee! Awesome bread pudding, and cool people in the heart of Vermont's Capitol. We will surely be stopping by in the future.

The smoothies are very good. The staff was very nice. They have a mix of coffee, tea, and smoothies. They have a kitchen for bagels and pastries. You can enjoy your food and drink inside with local art on the walls or outside right near a little stream.

Delicious food and awesome coffee. I had a bacon blue cheese salad. Outside seating was the place to be. It was a beautiful day.

Busy but cozy cafe in the heart of Montpelier. The baristas were friendly and the coffee was good! There are several coffee options and we got the Bob’s House Blend which is the flagship blend.

Got a sandwich and an iced coffee, and earlier the day before my girlfriend got one of their breakfast sandwiches. Everything was fantastic and our food came out remarkably fast. We went there right at lunchtime on a Sunday and it wasnt too crowded. One dollar coffee refills as well. Easy 5 stars

My husband and I took our 2 young daughters here for breakfast. There are so many options to choose from. Everyone left full and happy (and wanting more). Friendly staff. Delicious food and coffee. We will be back.

Love this cool cafe that’s a little more than the midway point when I drive to & home from Montreal. It makes the drive so much more bearable to have a tasty brew and snack on the way.

Capital Grounds is one of those places you can go in and always expect a kind staff and great food/drinks. Quality dietary restriction options and I just had the best Eggnog Latte of the season.
If you have not stopped by, you truly are missing out. They can get very busy, so take that I to account, but it is so worth it.

These guys are great every time. Pro tip: order online and walk in and pick up food or drink and head on your way. Their recent remodel came out great!

Great little coffee shop on Montpelier with a nice selection of hot & iced coffee drinks. Smoothies & baked items are also on the menu. The staff is super friendly and always greeting everyone with a smile & upbeat attitude.

My favorite coffeeshop EVER. Best breakfast sandwiches and lemonade I've ever had. Service is wonderful. Once I ordered food from them and then got held up at work and wasn't able to pick it up for more than an hour, but they kept it warm for me and were so polite when I came to pick it up. They also make their own amazing coffee blends. The ambience is wonderful, I used to spend time here every day after high school. A+!

I absolutely love this cafe!!!! I'm not a big coffee person but they make these delicious steamed milk. They have a whole list of flavors you can add. It looks out over the winooski river on one side and it has seating out front. It's a great place for people watching in the summer and fall!
