Also good close outs, little propane heater was super marked down and has been pretty decent!

This is the only Tractor Supply Co. I have ever been in so I do not have others to compare. I also am a new homeowner and do not have a lot of experience with gardening, farming, home maintenance etc. BUT since I am new and have no idea what I am doing, I need help. The staff at this store are SO NICE and HELPFUL. They remember me when I walk in, always stop to chat and ask how my house projects are going. I go to many different hardware stores in the area, but for some reason, the staff at this Tractor Supply Co. are extremely nice and helpful.

Since this is a national chain, the prices are also lower which we appreciate. If there is an item that isn't in the store, I highly recommend seeing if it is on their website. You can order online and pick-up in store for free.

Just wanted to thank Steve and, I believe, Denis, who spent time helping me today with trying to find a hard-to-find item. Even though they did not carry what I needed they were willing to help me find a place that possibly could. It was a great example of customer service. It's why I return to shop here. :)

Employees are always super helpful. Prices are good. Doesn’t seem like greedflation has been affecting their prices which is nice.

This store has anything you might want if you own any kind of animals for sure.
They carry anything from gardening needs to lawn maintenance.....flower seeds...bird feeders and bird food and cages.
They have a very clean and friendly atmosphere.....pleasant and helpful staff. I'm also impressed with all the nice clothing they sell men's and women's attire, for all seasons, incl; nice shoes & boots....even for cowboys !
Stop in and I'm positive you'll find so much more than I've described here, its a great experience.

I stopped into Tractor Supply yesterday to get food for my pups. The folks at the register let me know they were out of that brand but need to unload a pallet and to check back in later or tomorrow. Fast forward to this morning and I stop in again. They unloaded their pallet. However, the particular kind I was looking for had not come in yet. I asked a kind gentleman if he could check to see when it will be coming in. He said he didn't have an exact date and that supply has been difficult. I was bummed as I was completely out of dog food at this point and asked what other brand might be good. He grabbed a bag off the shelf handed it to me and said this should get you through - no charge. The kind gesture of this gentleman will have me coming back to this store for all of my future pet needs. I just only wish I got his name. Thank you!!

Chuck was a great help with helping me pick out dog food and carrying it out for me to my car. The customer service here is wonderful every time I come in.

Building my first electric fence for some pigs and had no idea where to start other than videos. The employees were extremely helpful and got me everything I needed and instructed me how to do it properly. I will keep coming back for my supplies.

The people there were super friendly and helpful. Especially Rio. She was a total sweetheart. She tried her best to find a pair of the boots for me that were half price. It didn't happen but she was just so helpful and kind that I couldn't really be any where near as disappointed as I would have been had she not been there.

I can’t thank Mike enough for his personalized advice and help to me as I debated whether to buy an electric or gas weed wacker. He patiently showed me all models and I was able to make my choice intelligently!! He is absolutely the BEST!!

He also advised me on the extended warranty program with the excellent check out clerk (Draven) and I ended up signing for it because it was a good deal for me.

I also have to say Adam the Mgr is excellent in being client oriented. He helped me with a big order of a water tank for our Community Garden and helped me find all the parts!!

This Tractor Supply location is great because of Adam and Mike and all these hard working staff!!

They always have what I need and that is normally dog food. However, I do shop there often when I need a part for something or if I need something for my dogs or for the yard or garden, etc..Friendly staff and they always seem willing to help out if you have a question. If they don't have something you're looking for, they wont waste your time trying to sell you something that might be close.

Gotta love the local Tractor Supply for Barre, Berlin, and Montpelier!

I gave a perfect 5 stars, but there's usually one or two employees that work here that need to be taught customer service. To be clear, MOST of the people who work here are great at it, but there has been a history of this place having a random straggler or two who will simply not do their job.

One unnamed individual who fortunately doesn't work here anymore would tell you, if you mentioned there's actually a sale on a product, "Well, I'm not going to walk over there or call anyone to have them price check this. I'm not doing it." If she was still working there, I'd only give this store 4 stars.

Beyond that, this place is really nice to have nearby.

Called and asked if i could order and prepay f ok r wood pellets, Kim said "no, you have to come into the store for that". Actually Kim after I hung up guess what I did? I went online and ordered them and prepaid for them. The email I got 15 mins later said they were ready for pick up. The same staff issues every time I HAVE to go to this store. Maybe it's a contest who can be the most unhelpful and rude as possible - Tractor Supply wins!

The last couple weeks I’ve been in the store often and the customer service has been awesome! The employees have been knowledgeable and kind!

I was a customer today at the montpelier location and bought a few items and went I got home realized I didn’t have my one bag with puppy toy in it :( I called the store and spoke with Jill- store manager, who offered to enter me into the Neighbors Club so in case I needed to return an item I easily could!!! Jill was the nicest customer service person I probably EVER spoke with!! Staff at this location are friendly and Dogs are allowed inside!!!

Love all of the living creatures for sale.
Wish they gave water to the indoor plants. It's so sad to see them on the brink of death.
