Wish I could leave 10 stars. This place has EVERYTHING. Hardware and other household items like office supplies, shampoo, pet food, etc. Everything is beautifully organized and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. So glad this is right downtown and I can support a small business regularly.

Aubachon is looking so fresh! The entire store has been completely renovated post-flood and inventory is restocked! The place is super clean and organized, with a lot of new high-quality items that were great to see (looking at you screwless wall plates!). It's going to take a bit of time to get used to the new layout but the staff have been very helpful directing me toward anything I am looking for. Great to have you back, Aubachon!

Tip Is awesome! He met me at the door. Asked if he could help me with anything. I told him what i was looking for. He asked me to follow him. This was very helpful with all the new changes in the store He truly knows his business. Definitely a keeper. The new store looks great! Glad you guys made it back. This store is to place to go for help with a number of projects. Help in finding the right screws, glue, paint, etc. All of their employees are helpful and knowledgeable.

Love the four-legged employee's!! They're very helpful in the checkout lines while waiting.

It's always a good experience at Montpelier's Aubuchon Hardware. I've used them for years and so far haven't had a bad experience.

This is one of those stores that has most everything. The employees are helpful, prices reasonable, small town vibe! It's my go to store!

I needed a replacement battery for my garage door opener...(a teeny-tiny one I'd never seen before!)...but the folks at Aubuchon knew what I meant, and had one available on the spot! Great people!

Great experience, as always. Ordered 3 towel bars. Said only 3 in stock so I did not know if I would be able to get all 3. Turned out only 2 were in stock BUT THEY EMAILED ME RIGHT AWAY TO LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS ONLY 2. THAT EMAIL MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I just tuned around and order one more from the Barre store (which said it had 2) and I was able to easily complete my project the same day. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL AROUND! THANKS! Correction, wasn't an email, it was a phone message which was even better. Carl was great!

Seems to have everything including umbrellas for the rain….and a cat altho I don’t think it’s for sale!

Needed to buy some paint for our bedroom so I went in there a couple weekends ago and got amazing help. Informative and super nice. So I went back again for some more paint for some found pieces of furniture and again, just really kind, patient, informative service. Everyone there always says hi and takes care of you.

Tip continues to be the most amazing helpful guy. I have been buying stuff from him for 20 years and he always knows how to help or when to suggest good ideas. He's a treasure!

Great store. Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The people working there are some of the most helpful and nice people anywhere. Just a great experience.

I purchased a bunch of pipe and fittings earlier in the year for a project - purchased more than I needed so I wouldn't need to repeatedly return to the store for supplies. When I finished, I returned the fittings I did not use together with one full-length piece of pipe I did not use. My money was cheerfully refunded - no questions asked, and no nonsense about it being more than 30 days since the purchase was made.

Shoutout to Ben! He helped us so much with all of our paint questions. We were able to give our kitchen a makeover by painting our fridge and some of our cabinets. It looks great and it was really nice being able to know we were making the right choices with the types of paint we were buying.

Very friendly staff and excellent selection. Staff member went out of his way to help me, well above and beyond what was expected, especially considering the time of day and day of the week. Cannot thank him enough for helping me with a 'mechanical event' that could have stranded me if not for his willingness to help!

I needed some last minute Christmas items and stopped in at the Montpelier Aubuchons. A clerk named Damien went out of his way to assist me and I received just what I needed. Fine service during a busy time of year!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. I found the items I needed and purchased them with no problems.
