Farmstead Table

Love this place, and I have been here more than 10 times over 2 years. They offer great food, quality, service and atmosphere.

Menu changes by season so you can expect to get various selection of dishes, and I would like to try all the dishes they offer season by season. I cannot specify certain dishes I had since I tried more than 80% of the menu here. Cocktail and beverages are also something that you can rely on. All were good and none of them disappointed me.

Service is always welcoming and comfortable regardless you visit here for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

This is a cozy small friendly, but not fancy. Yet, the quality of the food is fancy.

Farmstead Table is a must. Make reservations! We had a party of 3. The food is spectacular and so is the staff. Our server, Sergio, was fantastic! The popovers and local jam are light and airy. We also had the chicken sandwich, which was crispy, juicy, and not overdressed. The shankshuka is pure comfort in a bowl. Perfectly cooked eggs and delicious broth with broccolini. We also had the Farmers Plate Brunch. Another winner! We will definitely be back!

A gem - fantastic food & service. We went for brunch and our waiter was so attentive and the food was so good. We split the popovers (a must), I got the banana pancakes and my partner got the duck hash.

Delicious food, very cute atmosphere and nice personnel! The buns on these burger taste like they were just baked, meat is so fresh and delicious (you should 100% try it).
Hint: order Espresso Martini - it’s so good and not very sweet which I prefer.

Delicious brunch serving in this restaurant. It is not a very big restaurant, so it fills up very quickly on weekends. The food is very good and great selection of beer and wine. I highly recommended.

Fabulous spot!! Great service, glorious food. Highly recommend the roasted brussel sprouts tossed in a chili glaze, the mushroom toast with whipped feta (divine!), the hand-cut french fries and the s’mores dessert with ganache and homemade marshmallow. Even my Diet Coke was presented with elegance in a tall slender glass. Also, our server was excellent. Relaxed but attentive and helpful. Well done, Farmstead Table! We’ll be back.

One of the best restaurants in Newton, indeed in greater Boston. We've been probably happy a dozen times over the last five or so years, and every visit has had super service and excellent food.

We were seated at the bar, which gave us more quality time with the barman. We got a quick view of what is coming in and out and amazing service. The food was very good, seafood there is highly recommend. Everything we ate was great, crab salad, tacos and scallops. The dessert was very good as well, even the drip coffee had real flavor.

Cute, little farm to table restaurant, a lot of healthy choices and big portions. Lovely vibe and attentive service. Appetizers were great, Brussel sprouts tacos are a must!

We met friends for dinner last night. The cocktails were excellent, the popovers were as well! My salmon was cooked perfectly, and the creme brûlée was at exactly the right temperature!

A little pricey. Don't forget your phone the menu is a bar code at the table or an I Pad that is passed around. Just went for brunch. Split a order of pancakes excellent. 1 friend got a pop over but ate to fast to share. They do serve alcohol, bloody mary pretty good.

I had occasion to spend dinner at Farmstead on three evenings, and was so pleased with the food and service. Chanterelles, with their delicate perfume retained, were the highlight of my favorite dish, so far!

The food was great. I had an Arctic char served with corn puree and, oddly, onion rings. It was rather a mismatch but still each item tastes good.

Half the front staff didn't seem to like working there so the experience with them wasn't that great.

We showed up at the reservation time but the maître d and someone looked like her manager ignored us while we stood in front of them for a min until I said hello to interrupt them.

Over all, it wasn't so bad. I would still go back to eat there if I'm in the area. I just think it could be better.

We love Farmstead. We come here almost every week. Food is fresh and amazing. Burgers to die for and outdoor seating in spring and summer is wonderful. Don’t miss brunch!!!

Just about everything you could want in a brunch: warm tasty popovers, large fluffy pancakes, fresh lox and a duck confit hash that was spectacular. Friendly service, a nice location with access by T or seemingly plenty of street parking make for a great option.
