Excellent espresso. It is a lighter roast, and is very delightful. I live on the road, and have had privilege of experiencing hundreds of coffee shops over the decades. This coffee place does not disappoint. Recommend.

I wish we had this place in Naperville. It's an ideal indy coffeehouse. Their GF blueberry muffins are to die for, perfect. Excellent matcha latte, which is hard to find. Highly recommend, especially if you try Harriet & Oak and don't want to stand in line. Skip it and walk another block down here. :)

A beautiful cafe space with a great variety of drinks. Espresso is delicious as is tue cold brew. There’s plenty of seating with a variety of choices including two person tables, couches, lounge chairs, and stools looking out the window. Definitely the best place in town.

All of the staff are always so pleasant to speak with, the espresso is fantastic, and their kids hot chocolates are always the perfect temp for my overly enthusiastic little one.
Overall a great place with fast service and a great atmosphere.

Our first time going here was a couple of years ago, we always get a flavored ice latte of some sorts and we've tried their caramel rolls.
Everything is always great, and is a must stop for us every time we end up in Rapid City.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee, the building is super cool and very clean. I love the atmosphere of the coffee shop and keeps this out-of-stater coming back every year!

My favorite coffeeshop in rapid! I prefer my lattes a little less sweet and the cardigan latte is my favorite. They have the best coffee beans as well.

Third wave coffee as it’s supposed to be! Since moving to Rapid City I’ve been moving through the local coffee shops trying them out. I have found several good ones that I will continue to visit, but I had not found any that I would classify as a proper third wave shop, until now that is.
Pure Bean has an excellent style and vibe from the moment you walk in. The two baristas working demonstrated both excellent customer service as well as practiced skill in both the art of pour over as well as pouring a proper latte with good art.
I am a fan and will be back.

Good coffee, laid back open space to relax. Loved the options for pastries and specialty coffee. We picked up a bag of beans on our way through. Some funky cool art work and stickers for sale too. Definitely worth checking out. Winter the barista was very welcoming and answered all our questions. Top notch

Great air roasted coffee and friendly faces are what you’ll find at Pure Bean. Seating is comfy enough to hang, but not overstay your beverage. Good work space with natural lighting. Did you know this place used to be a record store? The mural from the original shop is still on the wall.

I love visiting new coffee shops and I have to say that Pure Bean coffee was the best coffee I've had in a long time, we took the Cardigan latte which is a local special and a cortado and of course a regular cup of coffee with cream. My husband and I seriously wanted to turn around and go back for more! It was delicious 😋

I go out of my way to try independent coffee shops wherever I go and this one was special! I went back a second time on our trip to try something else just to confirm, but I am happy to announce it had gained my #1 spot in the USA!! Friendly and knowledgeable baristas, espresso based beverages that are well thought out with good seasonal offerings, and an awesome vibe. Nice job Pure Bean!!

Locally owned and roasted coffee shops are my favorite and this one is quite possibly the best that I've encountered on my road trip so far. Can't go wrong with the cold brew and if you're looking for a latte, try the Cardigan.

I can only imagine that this must be the best coffee house in Rapid. I spent a week in town, and went to Pure Bean every morning to start my day. The historic creamery building in which the establishment is situated only adds to the enjoyment. They make great coffees that are carefully prepared and presented. Highly recommended.

Coffee was delicious! I had the honey lavender latte. I liked how they had bagels from another local shop called Black Hills Bagels. The atmosphere is nice with lots a seating for those who want to work in a quiet environment.

Terrific coffee shop in Rapid City. The matcha latte was delicious. They offer milk alternatives. Highly recommended.

Came in, ordered coffee, got an excellent latte made for me and then I was a klutz and spilled my drink. A guy that was not working, but obviously works here cleaned up the drink and had the baristas make me a new latte free of charge.

Absolutely lovely. The nest latte I've ever had, lavender and honey, iced. Beautiful decor and some serenity away from my chaos.
The service is great. My barista was helpful with my purchases. I'm bummed that I don't live closer but very happy I can purchase their beans online.

Super cute place and great staff. I am not sure if their ac was out that day or they don't have Ac, but it was quite hot in there. Get there fast because they only had a plain bagel left by the time I got there, so that must say how good their food is :) I love all the plants and the openness of the place. It's got a really laid back vibe there.
