Sioux Park

Sioux Park is constantly evolving with new equipment and things to do. I had not been to this particular section of the park (Entrance off of Canyon Lake and Dakota) for several years and I was truly amazed at the updates. Lots of families with their children playing on the playground equipment. Some people walking along the creek and some just sitting and taking in the view. Very nice area.

We love Sioux Park! The kids love the pool and we don't mind it either! They have a really nice play ground and a really nice track to run on. Beautiful paths along the creek and a wonderful botanical garden. They also have tennis courts and soccer fields.

Awesome space for kids and adults to get physical activity in! They have a track for running, soccer fields, playground, and basketball courts. Restrooms are also there. This place can get busy when it's nice out. You'll see Frisbee, people tossing a football, basketball, etc. It's a nice location!

An excellent park , with extensive walking/cycling paths! Beautiful streams and water ponds with fish thru the entire length of the park!

There's a friggin tight rope pit with balance beams and a wobbly metal thingy, and nobody complains when I sing Stevie Ray Vaughn (lyrics AND guitar💅)
There's a beautiful creek running through, horseshoe pits, grills, playgrounds for big and little kids, and gnarly old trees.

Super cute park on west side of Rapid City. Great place to take smaller children who love to run around. Lots of open space to enjoy social distancing. Creek runs next to park so fishing is fun here too.

The park was beautiful. My son and I enjoyed our walk with the soothing sound of the creek running and the sight of beautiful flowers. As we walked along the path we noticed the smiles and greetings of many. Greetings are rare from strangers this day in age, so it was a good feeling.

Sioux Park is an excellent Parts taking kids to, coming to relax, grilled themes and ropes, playing the river, play Frisbee, or just hang out.

Huge park with walking trails, tennis courts, playgrounds, open fields, gardens, etc. Close to the baseball fields, Storybook Island, and one of Rapid City's super nice public pools, as well as ample shopping and dining.

A great place for tennis tournaments or casual play. Nice facilities and well maintained.

Beautiful, quiet. Very green for late Sept, flowers still in full bloom. Picnic tables scattered around, gazebo.

This park is a family favorite anytime of the year. The swimming pool is the kids favorite in town. Friendly staff too. We visit often for sports events. Easy close parking access in a convienent location I love this park

Excellent park on the Westside of Rapid City SD. Great place to walk or ride your bike.

Thus is and always has been a beautiful park.

Beautiful park and an excellent place to spend a day

Lots of fun activities! Tennis courts are a blast. Track and field are great. Good playground and basketball court with a path around the park. Could use newer picnic tables but still decent.

Nice playground area. Bike path runs through, pletting of room for walkers, runners, dog walking, skateboards etc. Later in the summer the formal gardens are beautiful.
