Excellent service from start to finish. The experience is what big box stores cannot duplicate. I get horrible service from Lowe's and Menards every single time I go. It's very disappointing. You might save a little money but you won't get the service or appreciation. Shop local whenever possible!

Our all time favorite hardware store. Great selection for a small store. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good place for oddball hardware. We continue to use RC hardware as our favorite local hardware store. We have purchased paint from them as well as stain and we really really enjoy using their paint department. They seem to be a little more specialized and a little more helpful than the big box stores. We also love to get all of our bird seed and animal feed from them. They sell top of the line dog foods as well as really good dog treats. During the holidays they had really good holiday selection of holiday decorations and lights while some of the big box stores were sold out.

Great selection, great service and nice location. All that you need in a quality hardware store.

The store is amazing..so much Good stuff ,anything and everything you need is right there nice garden supply's and very smart employees there you ask and they will help you out ..they know their store ..and guide you ..go check RC Hardware out and have a great time..

I love this hardware store. It's not a huge place, not at all impersonal or overwhelming, like Lowe's or Menards can be at times (nothing wrong with these stores, either). The small town atmosphere and familiar faces of the helpful employees is why I continue returning to this place again and again.

Super friendly staff that are knowledgeable about their products etc. Enjoy going here as it still has that small town hardware store feel. I've yet to not find something I need here, they always have it!

The only place I know that carry a lock for my suitcase that fits perfectly. Another visit was buying a pepper spray (gel) when I was chased by a vicious dog on one of my walks in my neighborhood. A friendly staff and helpful indeed.

Best hardware service I've seen. Hospitable and honest that rascal Ken was in a hurry to help me find what I needed and did so in a gentleman like manner. Bless him,and this business if I dare say.

Great hardware store with a surprising selection of what seems like everything, complete with friendly and helpful staff. They also offer discounts for customer loyalty and host specials for those in their loyalty program (bonus coupon for your birthday too). One thing that completely surprised me about this place is that there's a home brewing section tucked away in the back. It has everything you need to make beer. I cannot recommend this place enough.

One of the nicest hardware stores I've ever visited. You can find anything you want, assisted by wonderful staff.

Really good store, I just went in for a screw for a shelf but I didn't realise I'd get such great service. Joe was especially helpful, asking what it was for and if I know what it was made of, even when he recommended a similar screw but was a little bigger, he gladly explained what I need to do to prevent breaking/damaging my shelf. Even Nya at the register was great, shipper friendly. Definitely recommend.

All employees wear masks and it is posted for others to do so. Most customers are compliant; some are not. Because of the excellent customer service and available assistance from sales associates, I continue to visit the store since I can be in and out quickly

Although they did not have any plexiglass currently available due to the recent violent hail storms my experience was enjoy able. The person who was helping me was very personable but professional.

Hometown store with friendly, helpful hometown staff. You need what? Yes - they probably have that!

The staff here is absolutely incredible. No matter what house project I bring them they always set me up for success! Nothing in Rapid City even comes close to comparing.
