Great hike. We hike it most days when it's going to be hot because it's close and it may get up to 90s during day, but it's cool and perfect in the morning.

If you want intense workout, walk up the gravel road. Or go up a less intense more shaded trail.

Always fun and a quick in-town hike. It is a little steep in places with loose gravel so not a trail for everyone.

Very close to the city. A great place for a walk. It's relaxing, lots of pines, sage brush, and wild roses. Talk to your Dr. If you do have any health conditions just in case.

This is a great place to take a short little hike. You can see all of Rapid City from top of M Hill. Be courteous to others as you're going up and down the hill. There are mountain bikers that are riding the trails as well. Also a great place to take your dogs.

Sweet place to get high and with a total elevation gain of something like only 300ft, you won't be so high that you need to go straight home and lay down for a bit lol

If you're looking for a short time and some outdoor exercise, this is the way to go. Bikers, hikers, and the occasional unicyclist (from the YMCA Unicycle Club) frequent these trails all times of the year.

As an added bonus, you are rewarded with an amazing view from the top overlooking most, if not all, of Rapid City.

Definitely a place to try out if you haven't already done so, just keep a lookout for the occasional rattlesnake during the summer months.
