Very interesting Souvenir shop with interesting artefacts and mummy‘s. Prices are reasonable and they have a huge selection of everything. Ended up buying me a nice Zippo there. Put it on your to do list when walking down the waterfront.
Cheers

This place is SO cool and has so much history. The preserved prospector is so insane!! They have a player piano and so much cool merchandise. We took the ghost tour that starts here too; Aemon was our guide and it was an incredible, fun, spooky way to spend part of my birthday :)

I have loved this place since we lived in Seattle 23+ years ago! The location is slightly different, but the amazing curiosities are still just as delightful to see.

Crazy. Far out. Fantastic. Regular souvenirs and crazy things you would never expect. Is it real? Who knows. Just visit to see for yourself.

Love this place. Not much has change there over the years othe then they have gotten a lot more stuff. It is not for the faint at heart but great place for curious people. Shrunken Heads and mummy's are the attraction and many other oddities Super cool to check out.

The most unique shop that we have ever been to. It almost feel like we went to a store in Harry Potter lol. They have the most weird but also eye-opening things including taxidermy, mysterious ancient sculptures and foreign stuff. Some things can be scary but it’s definitely worth a visit!!! The jumping beans blew my mind lol. It’s like a magic museum!

What an experience! Very cool shop,
It has all sorts of weird and "curious" things! It really has real shrunken heads/torso, and mummies. If you're within the Seattle area it's a must stop.

Fun shop with all kinds of odd things. Definitely worth the stop. I went on a Sunday morning when there was less traffic downtown. We tried to go Saturday but were overwhelmed by the traffic. There is a parking lot across Alaskan Way that is $12 plus tax for an hour but it is very convenient.

If you have kids this is a definite stop on the waterfront. Lots of cool stuff to see and cool toys / collectibles to buy. They have a one arm bandit in there, literally. Their original safe date backs to the early 1900's and they still use it today. Now that's cool.

Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, it's definitely is a place to stop in and visit while you're in Seattle downtown area. They have a bunch of cool interesting little knick-knacks and lots of old stuff you can look at and try out. One could spend a couple hours just looking around at everything. Careful not to knock anything over, it is a tight fit in some spots. Pricing is very reasonable and it's on Pier 54 at the docks close to the aquarium, it is tucked away in the back side of the building so be careful not to miss it.

SO many cool items here, but my favorite was the alphabet wall!! Ive always wanted to make one - they have pictures of random items in the shape of letters so you can spell whatever, usually your name, but its so awesome! just wish there were colored options because its all black and white. Tons of really cool items, rocks, novelty toys, dreamcatchers, candy, definitely take a browse, and not too bad on pricing!

Have you ever had that friend who you didn't know what kind of gift to get them? Well this is the place for you. So many eclectic, artistic, unique gift ideas that you will be set no matter the occasion. Be sure to bring quarters and check out all of the cool old music players, fortune tellers, and looking boxes!! And if you think you've seen it all, just look up!!!

I can't not go here when we go to Seattle. I've been going here since I was a baby, and I go every time we're in town. I have to look at the mummy no matter how many times I have gone here.

Definitely a fun touristy place to visit, this shop has a lot of random cool things no one needs but can sometimes be genius (or downright weird). It is a regular store for random... goods..., and just has a collection of other interesting things to admire and look at while you’re shopping. The average price for things is definitely higher since it’s a tourist attraction, but it’s an amusing place to visit and check out if you want something new.
Some of their merch includes bacon socks, edible larvae, ‘belt buckle’ keychains (one of my favourites), hologram glasses that make your eyes look weird to people looking at you... it’s a fun place to check out even if you don’t buy anything.

I've always loved going to the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop. Love the new layout. Gives Sylvester and Sylvia (the mummies) a larger display case complete with detailed descriptions. They also added three penny pressers, each with three designs. I was disappointed when the design was way off, but when I asked for a cash refund the cashier couldn't be nicer. Also love the beautiful totem poles.

Great olden-days vibe! Seeing the knick-knacks and the strange curiosities is something that you're not likely to find anywhere else.

At the same time, as a genetic genealogist, I think it is interesting that literal corpses are on display. Interesting in a non-judgmental way, if course. I would love to offer the genetic break down of these individuals and locate living descendants of them as well through recent whole genome sequencing. If this is something that the owners would be comfortable doing, we wouldn't need anymore than just hair. Just reach out if you're interested. I have a whole team ready to go :)
