The atmosphere is always good. The treats and coffee are tasty. They feature great local artists on the walls and have fun gifts for sell. Give them a try on your next Edmonds kind of day.

This coffee shop is so cute. We were just walking around Edmonds and stumbled on this place.

Got a dirty iced chai and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had. Their staff were also so nice and welcoming. Definitely go back!!

A lovely place to get a coffee. Looks like a bit like it used to be a garage, and they did a great job turning it into a shop with its own unique charm.
They serve Vivace coffee, which is one of my favorite local roasters, a great base for espresso drinks. The baristas are also skilled accordingly. We tried a rye cookie which I never had and it was delicious. Thumbs up for Walnut Street coffee !

This business is so wonderful and giving. They provided over 50 families and 150 kids at cedar valley community school this holiday season with presents and books. Many of these children wouldn’t have had a Christmas if it wasn’t for you all. You are the best!!!

One of my favorite coffee shops in north Seattle. Super friendly staff, yummy and well-prepared drinks, delicious pastries and ready to go eats (don’t skip on the farmers pocket if they have it - a savory pop tart from salmonberry) and a good amount of seating, though it’s always busy when I go and can be tricky to grab a spot for a group.

The coffee and service were fantastic, we’ve gone the last three days.

We’ve tried the latte, cortado, and cappuccino. All were great and the beans they use were nice and smooth.

Didn’t try any of the food or pastries.

It’s a bit small and very popular, so it tends to be pretty loud and crowded. I suggest just waiting for a seat or sitting outside if the weather is nice.

Delicious coffee and bread! I dream about their sea salt chocolate chip cookies daily. It’s a family fave and a local favorite joint for a reason! If you’re spending the day in Edmonds, this is the best coffee joint in the area (in my personal opinion haha)

Trendy, but still small-town coffee shop, nice spot, bright and coffee is very good, staff wonderful! Such a great place to get a latte, they're open later now on weekends (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

A great spot for coffee anytime. Friendly and proficient staff, great pastry and coffee options, decent seating options inside and out as well as great selection of coffee gear and clothes all available for very reasonable prices. Well worth your time to check out!

I enjoy spending time in a cafe that goes its own way. The chains are fine, but I like things that are a little different. My cousin is the same way, so it should be no surprise that when I suggested we meet at The Walnut Street Cafe, he agreed, saying that it was one of his favorite places.
Finding the place is simply a matter of finding Walnut street and looking for the colorful sign. I usually pull in, even though the tiny parking lot is often full. Hope springs eternal, but this time I had to pull back out onto the street and find another place to park. If I wasn’t meeting my Cousin, I would have driven on, since, if the parking lot is full, the cafe will be crowded. As it was, I found a spot on the street nearby and walked over. I was in the typical long line when my cousin showed up. We fell into familiar conversation and happily passed the time it took to get to the counter and make our orders.
They make great coffee, but if you want some indulgent protein rich breakfast, this is not the place. On the other hand, if a vegan snack is your thing, let me recommend the cinnamon rolls. They are sweet and sticky and don’t have the weird flavors that you get sometimes with non-animal products.
We got lucky after we ordered. A couple was just finishing up and gave us the big green chairs by the back wall. Whoever picked the furniture does not subscribe to the idea that the best way to keep people from camping out in your cafe all day is to make all the seats uncomfortable. There are also plenty of outlets for plugging in your laptop and the wifi is reliable and fast.
Of course, my cousin and I didn’t need these features. We had plenty of family business and personal news to catch up on. I sipped my latte to make it last and my cousin got refills of his drip coffee.
The place was full and a bit noisy, but we managed to hear each other well enough. I usually like a quieter place, but this one is fun and I am willing to put up with some noise. Especially when it is the joyful noise of kids getting a hot chocolate treat.

great coffee and staff! It gets very busy in the mid to late morning and line can be a little long-- not a bad thing (it's worth the wait!) but something to expect if you're on your way somewhere else.

This is the cutest little coffee shop. The ambiance and everything in there makes it a perfect spot. Loved everything that this place had.

Such friendly staff, an absolute community gem 😊 plus they are super big fans of dogs and have a treat jar and water bowl ready for the furry friends. We love to sit outside with out pup and enjoy a great cup of coffee or Chai tea.

This is the best coffee shop in Edmonds and probably far beyond. The staff are mostly long time employees, genuinely friendly and know their regulars. The use local organic milk and milk alternatives are no extra charge, and their prices are still lower than Starbucks. Their coffee is smooth and delicious. I love this place.

Had a great experience at Walnut Coffee. Met a few people to work on a small project. Enjoyed the large table and great service. It's clearly a popular place with the locals. I would definitely come back.
Excellent cappuccino!

Always love grabbing a coffee from Walnut street 😄 the line can often be long, but it goes so quickly and they are so fast with making drinks! Cute spot and there is some really cute merch to look at while you wait in line. I wish they had gluten free bakery items because their case of bakery goods look so delicious! They do have “gluten friendly” bakery items but there’s no point in claiming gluten-free, because they are are piled up next to and in between all the regular gluten filled items.

I had the iced pumpkin spice latte and it was amazing! Not too sweet. I also tried a savory pinwheel pastry which was delicious. The staff were personable.
