Edmonds Bookshop

This is a wonderful independent bookstore in downtown Edmonds that we enjoy visiting when in the area. They have a well curated collection of books for just about everyone, including kids, as well as a small section of used books.

The shop is small and there isn’t really any seating, besides one or two chairs in the back, so be prepared to peruse your books while standing… But I’m sure you’ll find something amazing to read!

This bookshop earned my business. They arranged their shop so that titles are seen in many sections plus they highlight exceptional titles with handwritten comment tags that draw attention to the books! I had a really enjoyable visit and was happy to pay full price for the experience.

Just as fast as Amazon! Maybe not every time but I would absolutely say the shipping and delivery to the Bookshop is soo fast. The staff is kind and helpful. And I always appreciate the selection of local books and tide charts!

Amazing customer service! Edmonds Bookshop co-hosted an author visit with the Mukilteo DEI Commission, and brought her books to sell. They ran out of the one I wanted, so they took my name and address when I ordered a copy. The very next day, someone from the bookstore hand-delivered it to my house! So impressed! They have a customer for life!

Quaint little bookshop in downtown Edmonds, WA. We went here for those last-minute stocking stuffers, and they didn't disappoint. Wonderful staff, very eager to help, and a great supply for most readers.

This little jewel has friendly staff, a pluthera of books, cards, gifts, and community events such as a book club! I had a marvelous time perusing the many choices of jornal supplies,calendars, and cards as well. The children's section is a fun mix of new authors, old ones, and games or puzzles that are individually chosen rather than things found everywhere. I highly recommend this store if your looking for a gift that appeals to heartfelt choices!

This is great local bookstore and it’s keeping the proud tradition of independent bookstores alive and well. The store is well appointed and well stocked. You are free to browse here in a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they will help you get it or find it. We never visit Edmonds without visiting this great store. And, we never leave the store without making purchases!

I'm so grateful for this small, independent bookstore. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a good selection of mystery and contemporary novels. And if there is something I want but don't see in the store, I can order it either in person or through their convenient online system. Edmonds is lucky to have this store!

Edmonds bookshop has an amazing selection of children's picture books, middle grade fiction and adult fiction. I loved their local Washington travel books and non fiction options. In addition, they host book events and promote local authors. Local authors are dear to my heart. I also noticed they have a book list where if you buy 12 new books you get the average price of those books in credit.🥰

One thing the towns of Western Washington have managed to hold on to, better than most anywhere in the States, is the prevalence of small, local, independent booksellers. Edmonds Bookshop is a stellar example.

Since this is my local bookshop, I’m obviously biased, but the staff are always welcoming and helpful, the shop is tidy and quaint, and the books are, well, books. If you love them, you love them, and you love the people who sell them.

great little bookstore with tons of options! It was really helpful to be able to call ahead and put a book on hold when I wasn’t sure if they had it in stock. Staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Would recommend!

Good selection, friendly, helpful staff. They have a program where if you buy 12 books, they give you in store credit for a book equal to the average cost of the 12 books. Their book selection is quite left leaning just so ya know. Very good bookstore.

Edmonds Bookshop is such a gem. Small town vibe with a friendly & helpful staff. Although small, always has a healthy inventory of the latest books & related seasonal items. All in the heart of downtown Edmonds. Will definitely be your new favorite stop off Main St.
