July 2023, you probably already heard that the water level is really low. The entire boat ramp is exposed, along with an additional 5 to 10 minutes of walking if you want to go far out onto the Peninsula (which is usually deep underwater).
Honestly this time of year it is not very refreshing, it’s over 100° outside and the water temperature is close to 90°, so it does not cool you off.
So one star for the hot temperatures, but five stars for the park itself. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the grounds are expansive and clean. The only downside is on the waters edge people leave so much trash, cans, food, wrappers, even pool floats and tents are left behind. People are pigs. Please clean up after yourself!

Nice park with wonderful staff.
The water is so very low, I had to hike at least 200 yards to get to the water. So if you go, be prepared for a hike.

Awesome! Best lake I've been too, easy access to walk into the water, can set up at one of the provided shaded tables, or set up at the water, or both! Great experience overall, other than the biting flies. If you have a long haired dog, they should be fine but my dog and I were eaten up 😂

this is honestly the clearest and cleanest lake i’ve EVER been to. We went to the left side of the lake and enjoyed it.
*pictures are unedited, it’s us leaving*
it is actually blue and clear, i was skeptical ngl😭

Great place to swim! Please do not leave your garbage laying around! Bring unpackaged fruits, no waste! It would be really great to ban motorized watercraft in the area, they're very loud/disturbing, they make the water choppy for swimmers, and they pollute the air (and the water). Also impose a noise ordinance to prevent some boaters from disrespectfully blasting their music on the lake. A fishing ban would be excellent also, keep the area cleaner & safer...no hooks or lines tangled around. Everyone loves a clean, beautiful, safe, & peaceful park!

Great space for relaxing! They charge $5 per person but it’s worth it. They have some cabanas close to the lake. The area is so clean and natural that you can swim with small fishes on the shore, and the best is that is pet friendly! Be aware, the sun is very intense so take a lot of sunscreen!

Beautiful scenery and great picnic areas. But there are no walkways from the picnic areas to the water, which is a bit of a walk. The beach area is also a bit rocky.

Beautiful park for a picnic, barbeque, swim or kayaking!!

The entrance fee though, should be payable by card. Not everyone carries cash, and esp during Covid there must be less dependence on currency!

I love it! Beautiful views of the lake coming to the location. The water is beautiful. More rocky than sandy waterfront. You’re able to rent out gazebos and bbq pits and little spots or if you get there early you might could get a good spot.

We were there July 4th so it was a little hectic. The crowd was diverse, there was good music and it was a little cloudy so the water was more green than blue.

We brought a floaty. Three adults and a toddler. Probably there for 1.5 hour- 2 hours until my son fell asleep on the floaty rocking in the water.

Tips: bring bags with you for trash or diapers. We brought a cooler which was a good idea. Water shoes, aqua socks probably a good idea because some of the rocks by the shore are sharp and some are VERY slippery.

Not only do you have an incredible view of the lake on your way down to Miruna Park, but parking is cheap to boot. Its $10 parking so and theres ample spaces. Once you're in and set up, at one of the many public covered tables, you can enjoy the crisp water of lake Travis. If you're hungry make sure to bring something to Grill each table has a charcoal grill for use, but make sure to bring your own trash bag. If you like there's also a net for volley ball! All in all it was a great time, and I cant wait to go back. 5/5 would swim again.

I'm glad to have discovered this place. It is absolutely beautiful. Third time visiting & never a bad moment.
Booth people have always been so welcoming. Thank you!

Water is still cold spring break time, but being out sunbathing is nice.

Please dispose of your trash in the proper place.
Pack it in & pack it out, when you leave the shore. Keep this place looking great & help the environment stay healthy.

Love it here, it is free parking and $15.00 per person to enter. Plenty of picnic tables and room to set up your own tables. They have porta- potty restrooms. You can also buy floats and things here, no lockers for personal items and parking was ok. We went about 1:30pm on a Sunday, it started getting a little more crowded around 3-4pm. Stairs lead to water and lots of rocks so be careful and I wouldn't suggest jumping like I was seeing a lot of teenagers doing. Water was really deep right of the edge so be careful. There was more things down the way but we chose to stay near the front area. We saw lots of boats further out in the water so there was some strong waves but nothing too crazy.

Really nice place to wander around and then go for a swim. Water was perfect in early October.
We set up on the rocks with a picknic blanket and some beer.
Bit expensive to get in, but also makes it calmer inside.
I'd live to return and camp for a night.
