We thought we knew Austin after 20 years, but Steve's expert guided tour took us to remarkable places we'd never seen and to familiar places from stunning new perspectives. Just flew down from Utah to Lone Star Helicopter to do some Bell training in the Long Ranger with Steven! I have to say, it was the best experience I have ever had with any instructor/business, Steven was very professional, fun, and most importantly one of the best pilots I have flown with! I am an owner of a helicopter flight school, and I gotta say, trust me, if you live in Texas look no further. Last thing I’ll say is, I don’t ever leave reviews, but my experience made me feel, determined to leave a review, so there ya go :) *****

Steve is most professional and complete flight instructor I have met. Friendly, courteous, on time!! I hope to come back and fly more!!! Excellent aircraft- beautiful painted, worthy of many photos!!! What a great day!!

5 star experience for us with Steve. Excellent location to start the tour right next to Lake Travis. He gave us a great loop around the lake and flew around the city and back to the lake. Steve has an in depth knowledge of the area and shows you all points of interest in the Austin area. He also gladly answers any questions you may have about the region or the aircraft. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get a birds eye view from above tour with an experienced pilot. It was a great feeling to take off from the ground and cruise around the beautiful area. Everything looks amazing from up in the sky.

This guy Steve is soon awesome, he was very professional and kind. He made us feel sooo comfortable from the 1st phone call to the end of the flight, he offered suggestions of best winery's as well as best eateries during our visit. He is very personable and just seem to be an overall cool dude!!! I'm definitely gonna fly with him again

Lonestar helicopter is the best place to get an aerial tour of Austin. It's managed by kind and warm-hearted people, and is located at one of the prettiest airports in the Central Texas area
