Drury Inn & Suites Springfield, IL

Would give them 10 stars if I could!

My 3 friends and I stayed here for three nights while in town for a medical school graduation and we absolutely had such a wonderful stay!

The service was so personable and we felt so well taken care of and attended to here

Every morning having a nice hot and tasty breakfast (fresh coffee, warm delicious biscuits, hot syrup, belgian waffles, eggs, potatoes, and more) and every evening having happy hour dinner and drinks was absolutely incredible!

I also really love how intentional the service was. Although the elevators were unfortunately down for the weekend, I really appreciate them making it a point to personally call me ahead of time to let me know and offer assistance with getting all of our bags upstsairs. Even when it was time for us to head out for the airport at 2am, Aaron was so quick and cheerful to come help us get all of our luggage downstairs with such a kind and positive attitude.

I also really appreciate the fresh and spacious bathrooms in their newly renovated rooms.

All in all it was such a wonderful time, and the most hospitable stay I have had anywhere! All 3 of my friends expressed how happy they were that I picked this place and we all agreed that we will definitely look for a Drury Inn anytime we need a place to stay

We loved our stay here. The staff was on point with everything, and it really felt like it was their pleasure to make our stay great. The breakfast has everything you need. Hot coffee all day long. You even get a drink card to use for three free drinks a night at the bar. The hot tub and pool was a must every night for us to have some relaxing time before bed. Even though they were working on some construction, it didn’t interfere or disturb our stay.

Remodeling happening, updating everything, rooms look great and clean. It wasn't intrusive to our stay. Great food and drinks for breakfast but also dinner! And the staff is the best! Always saying good morning or making sure you don't need anything.

Booked an overnight stay for a last minute trip on a Saturday night. Upon check-in, greeted warmly by Javi and offered a goodie bag and apology for renovations (we were aware of these when booking).

Room was near atrium on 2nd floor and appeared to be newly renovated. Comfortable and clean! No complaints!

Pool & hot tub were clean and fine for kids - I didn’t swim but many families seemed to enjoy it. Comfortable loungers to relax on.

Kickback was not good. Arrived at 6PM and the only options were mashed potatoes, meatballs, salad, hot dogs and nachos. Everything was empty except a handful of mostly crushed nacho chips. We went out for dinner.

Returned and parking was scarce. I am attributing this to some of the renovations, but in the end we found a spot, so it wasn’t a problem. Bed was amazing!

Breakfast next morning was oatmeal, waffle station, potatoes, sausage, eggs, cereal and bread. Small but good.

As we were eating (plenty of seating), the front desk staff was actively cleaning & clearing plates.

Pleasant check out experience and friendly staff.

Location seemed a bit remote for us, but can’t really judge that because we aren’t familiar with the area.

We were made aware of renovations happening inside the hotel prior to our arrival. I was weary at first not knowing what to expect but honestly, we went about the hotel without any issues. Staff was phenomenal. Overly friendly and went over and above. Sadly I did receive poor service from the bartender during their evening kick-off food and drink which really took me by surprise and made me uncomfortable the rest of the evening. But truly, everyone else on staff made up for the one sour apple. The elevator had gone down for a few hours but it was handled with promptness and for this we were grateful! The rooms are clean and tidy, newly remodeled and the vibe made you feel at home.

Good stay. As others have noted the hotel is under construction but it didn't interfere with our visit. Our upper floor king suite had been remodeled, very clean with new appointments. It was nice having a separate bedroom that I could close the door and sleep while my wife watched TV in the main room.

Breakfast, dinner, and Kickback of course...courteous staff, no problems getting extra towels. We loved Springfield, it helped the hotel was a destination in itself, a place to relax and recharge.

We would reserve here again.

1st time staying at a Drury hotel. Very nice. Extra polite staff. Hats off to them. Free drinks free dinner free breakfast. Who could ask for more.

Who knew they hosted a happy hour???? Very comfortable room. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

I can't say enough positive about this location, the staff and our experience staying here. We came in around 4:30pm without reservations and needed a room the same night. We were greeted by not only the front desk worker but the assistant manager came out and greeted/welcomed us as well. Dinner was outstanding, all the staff working in the food and beverage areas went above and beyond. I have stayed at some hotels that claim to be top notch and turn out to be duds. This place was well worth what we paid and more. I wish I could remember the names of the staff that were so very helpful but it slips my mind. Our stay was Sunday night to Monday on 8-20-23 to 8-21-23 so hopefully the entire staff working that day/night can get an attaboy!!

The front desk was so nice and actually upgraded our room. The kickback snack time was awesome and they had plenty of options and drinks included. We used the pool and hot tub and it was a nice clean facility. The rooms were clean and spacious and had a nice layout. The breakfast was really good and had anything you could want, most of it was hot already. I would definitely recommend, with kids or without kids.

This hotel was consistent with the food and service the Drury usually has. Aaron at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and breakfast and dinner were decent as always. The kickback is great and you get 3 free drinks. It was a little loud but pack some earplugs.

I'm in customer service, so I know great customer service when I experience it. Aaron at this Drury has it in spades. My buddy and I had just ridden motorcycles 500 miles from W. Nebraska and arrived just before the complimentary dinner buffet (3 light beers included). He suggested we load up our plates, take our meals to our room to eat and unload our bikes later. Take care of Aaron Drury Corp or another chain is going to hire him away from you!

Every employee we encountered was kind and very helpful. The pool area was clean and well maintained, the complimentary meals were of good quality and variety. Easy check in, convenient location, comfortable, this hotel made our trip much more pleasant.

Short drive off I-55. Staff are super, friendly, helpful. Good stop. Third visit for us.

So much value, excellent service, clean as a whistle. The staff seem to actually enjoy their jobs and the guests they serve. Happy hour is such a treat and the dinner is quality. Breakfast was tasty, hearty, and lots of variety. Appreciated the fountain drinks as well. Beautiful lobby and lounge.

Our stay was great! Miranda was so helpful & welcoming when we checked in Friday night. The breakfast was great & all every staff member we met was so friendly. We had a suite & it was clean, had plenty of towels. We will definitely stay again & recommend anyone to stay here.

The room was remodeled and very nice. Javi at the front desk was excellent.

Went to the DuQuoin State Fair for work and stayed here. Nice and comfy rooms. Noise levels were perfect. Has a small workout room, nice jacuzzi and swimming pool. Plus, free breakfast and dinner with 3 complimentary drinks. Worth the price and service. Overall, had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. Definitely recommended.

Where to start. Clean rooms that smelled fresh. I'm always cold and the ability to set a thermostat. Awesome. We showed up at midnight the first night and 10pm the second night. Both desk clerks were nice and welcoming. My travel mate loved the hot and plentiful breakfast. Lots of choices made well and kept hot. Having soap dispensers in shower was great since this was a last minute trip and stuff was forgotten. The hotel is in emaculate condition and has a beautiful waterfall chandelier in the lobby. What I would like to see...USB ports on both night stands. Coffee++
