Great store, always clean, and filled with a great selection of healthy fish and coral. Being new to the hobby, Elise is always helpful with sharing knowledge and awesome to work with!!! Always a positive experience!

I love coming in here with my Dad to browse around, even though I do not currently have a salt-water tank. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who obviously have passion in what they do every day even during these tough times. I recommend checking out the store if you're already into the salt side of the hobby, or are thinking about starting it like I am.

This place is the best. Great family owned shop, everyone is super friendly and most importanty knowledgeable about the hobby. They answered all my questions and helped me find the right corals to best fit my system. Everything I purchased was healthy and opened up in my tank. They really make you feel like a guest in their home. Will definitely revisit.

Love this place. My husband and I come here often and the people that work here are very knowledgeable with any questions we have. They are so friendly and patient--especially with our energetic 4 year old boy. They arent just out to make a sale (like we have experienced at other fish stores), and have even given us recommendations on what we should and shouldn't purchase with our set up. Even when we came in right before closing, they still took time with us and didn't try to rush us out the door. Great customer service!

This place is not the one with the owner who assaulted the woman of color. This is an Illinois store not one in Virginia called Exotic and Aquatics, this store is just on Virginia road. This stores owner runs his business with the normal customer service and caring about customers, greeting everyone with a smile, and caring for their animals.

This is easily the best place in the area for your saltwater tank needs. The staff are so knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. We always look forward to our trips to this fish store to check out their wide variety of fish, corals and of course for the great company :)

This business is not affiliated with the location in virginia where a woman of color was assaulted.. this business has almost the same name and is located on virginia rd in Illinois. I have always been treated with respect and staff is always so helpful.

Every time I come to Exotic Aquatics the staff and owner are extremely helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. They always have a great selection of healthy fish as well. Best local fish shop!! 🐠

Love this place! I've been doing business with Jeff and his family for 15 years. Pricing is very very fair and if there's a problem with anything Jeff will stand behind his stuff. They also have a great reward program

Clean and nicely laid out systems with easy to read prices. Deals range from "How is this so cheap?" to How is this so expensive?" But mostly everything is more than fair in price. Friendly staff and a trust worthy place to buy fish and coral. Go check it out!

Love my tank but hate the maintenance. Had James from Exotic Aquatics out to my house and will now be having them come monthly. I LOVE my tank again! These guys are magical and I wish I would have found them sooner.

Hands down the best saltwater fish store

My fish are dying and I called this store. James was friendly and helpful. He knew what was wrong and explained it to me. I had velvet. My fish died. I was going to empty my tank and give up. James explained that velvet can not live without fish so I should wait a month and my tank should be okay again. Thank you

Stopped in today from out of town just to have a look. I wish this place was near me. Great selection and outstanding prices compared to what's near me. Owner was very friendly too.

Great people at this store. They were very helpful when I first set up my tank 6 months ago. They are happy to help answer questions I have.

Super friendly and great corals they sell the baby blue tangs aswell as full sized ones the sale that everyone is referring is a less then 1in baby blue tang is more the comfortable in a 30gal tank he states that u need to upgrade the tank once it does get bigger or bring in for trade in. don't base opinion on a few uneducated fish activist it's sad that one instant can hurt a store reviews this bad when I don't think people fully understood the sale...

Jeff, James, and Elise are the best. They help me out all the time either with a question, late nite text, or a home visit. I can't say enough about how grateful I am to have them as my tank maintenance peeps.
