Kennebec Tavern Restaurant & Marina

Food is absolutely delicious and flavorful. The atmosphere here at night is so peaceful with the candles lit and the light music. It is perfect for a quiet date night. I’ve had both the lobster linguini, and the maple peach salmon. My husband has had the tavern macaroni and cheese, as well as the southwestern black bean burger (he’s a vegetarian). He also has enjoyed the meals here.

Parking is limited but great for a Friday and Saturday night crowd. Restaurant is on the water so you get some really great views.

Service was fantastic, the ladies there were super friendly and had such a great vibe, smiles and good all around happiness! Very nice to have when dining out.

My husband and I ordered the seafood platter and the 3 course meal (Italian theme) which is called Passport To Flavor. I highly recommend that! * Ask wait staff for menu

Food came out fast, hot and delicious. The appetizer was very tasty and great for sharing. The shrimp alfredo was super scrumptious! The alfredo was thick, creamy and had a beautiful flavor. The shrimp was tossed in some kind of lemon with herbs and it went well with my meal. The seafood platter was also very tasty and the fried batter was perfect; not too soggy, not too breaded, not too burnt, just right. We finished off with pistachio cannoli's and that was soooo good!

I recommend coming here for a great meal, great views and a night of fun with some friends!

My friend and I decided to try the Tavern for dinner after she arrived in Maine for the first time. My sister recommended we stop here even though I had misgivings after reading so many of the negative reviews. We are so glad we did! The service was excellent & fun and the food was delicious! I do wish I would have ordered an appetizer though. Her burger & my Greek Scallops were excellent!! We would definitely order again

This is a very chill place for a warm, tasty meal. The service was delivered quickly with a smile. Candida is top notch. I had the fish Peta with avocado tartar sauce over thai peanut coleslaw. Smoked tomato soup was rich and delicious. Small Greek salad was well balanced and delicious. Cocktails are Large. 5 of 5 forks. Cheers!

We have been to this restaurant at least 6 times, and every time we come we have the most delicious food and super friendly service. A visit to Bath is not complete for us without a visit here!

Very enjoyable experience! Our waiter was very friendly and efficient, taking our orders and frequently checking on us; dishes were all tasty and perfectly seasoned - clam chowder, haddock sandwich, haddock filet, and mac & cheese. Highly recommend this fine local restaurant!

If you are looking for fresh seafood look no further.. this place has fresh delicious seafood👌 You can sit inside or dine outside on the dock and watch the boats drive by.. very nice place, great atmosphere, clean, polite and tasty with a great view. Mostly have seafood but they also have some delicious cheeseburgers aswell. Their coleslaw and haddock is the best I've had yet.

Bath downtown in August looking for seafood... This place was great. I had a Maine beer and fried haddock. It was excellent. My wife had fried clams, the best I've tasted.

Server Tea was really good.

Very laid back atmosphere. Tables set to overlooking the Kennebec. Staff is very friendly.

A great restaurant in bath with great views of the Kennebec! The Reuben sandwich is really good and I love the lobster stew! I have been getting the lobster stew for years now!

We had a really excellent meal with fast, friendly service. Nice variety on the menu, good specials.

First time there, tried something I've never had before. Fried parsnips. Very good. Main meal was a burger, cooked exactly as I liked it.

Went for lunch had one of the specials. Sweet and sour noodles with crispy duck. It's was great.

Always a favorite. Consistent food and service... Unless the owner'wife is working.. She's very rude. Everyone else is incredible! From the friendly guy running glasses from the kitchen (starts with a J, looks like a football hero, acted like a customer service hero) to our bartender, (damn it I forgot her name too! Petite friendly and put up with us and the social commentary between us and the regular on the corner! Forgot his name too! You know who you are!🤣). I had a crab roll which was just how you want it to be simple crab roll heavy on the crab! My husband had a Reuben and the corned beef is clearly house made thick cut and delicious! Never mind the fries I could eat those for lunch just by themselves! Definitely a place we always stop when we're driving by on our way home to New harbor!

Fresh and delicious food with a lot more flavor and imagination than the usual coastal Maine seafood restaurant. The staff all appeared to enjoy working with one another and the environment was inviting.

The food was excellent! Erik was our server and did a great job! They all did despite being short-handed. They had to put a sign on the door saying they were closed due to being shorthanded. I'm so glad we made it in. We drove an hour and a half. We'll worth it!
