What a great experience!

Walking in and immediately got greeted and seated.

This location has the option of outside dining, they have lights, decorations, and Mexican music playing, added to the atmosphere. The lights at night create a romantic atmosphere.

We were seated, ordered, got our food and ate it in 40 minutes! Very fast compared to other Mexican food places.

We both got a different combo so we could try a broad range of foods for our first visit. We were not disappointed! All the food was fantastic, but the note worthy foods was the rice and beans. The beans were so delicious and I haven’t tasted anything like them from anywhere else. The rice was not dry, but was very fluffy.

The chips and salsa was very enjoyable, and the salsa doesn’t destroy my mouth.

Our waiter was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Very laid back staff that adds a positive vibe to the place.

We bought the salsa to go, and they gave us free chips with it!

We will be back for sure.

Great atmosphere music and decor. The food was excellent, arrived quickly too. Large selection on menu even had a vegetarian section. The service was friendly. Eat indoors or on the patio.

Large selection of margaritas and they were made with real lime juice not the mix.

Will definitely go back.

El Rodeo is always a great place for Mexican Food. The staff are kind and efficient. The food is always good. Lots of choices for all palates. Restaurants is always clean. Atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Happy hour prices and specials are a perfect way to end the work day.

Time for Mexican food at the El Rodeo in Brunswick Maine. The atmosphere feels Mexican. Fun, relaxing, causal. Excellent food. Our waiter spoke more Spanish than English which made it more like an authentic experience and fun. Another waiter came and verified a couple of our requests, so no issues. Come and have fun in this exciting Mexican restaurant.

As I’ve said in other reviews, I was born in and lived in Texas for 30 years, so I’m picky about Mexican food. This place was *packed* on a Friday night. The line was out the door, and we almost left. I’m glad we didn’t. We were told 25 minute wait when we gave our name, but it ended up being literally 5 minutes. Nice seating and ambiance. Loud, but was crowded.

Huge menu with a whole separate vegetarian section. Chips and salsa were better than most places. I ordered a jalapeño margarita. $12, I expected a normal size glass. It was HUGE. It looked like those 2 people sharing glasses. I also can’t overstate that this thing is SPICY. It has jalapeño infused tequila. Now being from Texas, I have a strange pride with my spicy tolerance, and this was a challenge. Do not order this drink if you can’t take very spicy. It was good and strong , but I’m not sure I’d do that again.

I ordered the vegetarian combo which was a burrito, chalupa, and cheese enchilada. Generous portions and delicious. Even my husband who gives praise very sparsely said it was the best meal of our Maine trip. Came to $90 without tip for 4 people with non-water drinks (1 alcoholic.) Honestly the entree and drink prices were a bargain. Service was friendly, a little slow, but nothing crazy for as busy as they were. Highly recommend!

Ordered take-out, service was great, food was great. Everything was hot and delicious! Great portions for the price. Highly recommend anything with their mole sauce, and the horchata, I'm not an expert in Mexican cuisine, but to me they tasted as authentic as it gets. Even just the simple side of beans was prepared perfectly. Extremely satisfied and will go back whenever we're in the area again!

A good Mexican meal at a decent price. Even though the environment is great, customers are allowed to celebrate their birthday. Sometimes, the birthday celebrations become loud and obnoxious, which make it difficult to have a normal conversation at your own table.

Amazing Drinks! Amazing Salsa and Guacamole. I recommend the Micheladas and Margaritas.

This is a great place to get some excellent Authentic Mexican food, with a well balanced menu. Often when going to a Authentic Mexican restaurant you get stuck with mostly spicy foods, but not a El Rodeo. They have plenty on the the spicy side, while still having lots of options for those who can’t eat spicy foods.

Prices vary but there’s options for every patrons budget, staff a really friendly and eager to assist. Portion sizes in comparison to the price is generously large, definitely a good bang for the buck.

Now with us being in the mist of a Pandemic, hygiene is on a lot of our minds. As the saying goes if you want to know wether hygiene is a priority at an establishment check the restrooms. El Rodeo restrooms are spotless, the restaurant feels roomie and is kept clean.

Definitely one of my first pick more often than not when eating out. I do wish the had delivery available.

Great drinks! Pretty decent for Mexican food in New England. Huge portions though, plan on sharing your plate or you'll need a box. Been here twice so far, both times were great. See yall next time!

We got guacamole, tacos and margarita and let me tell you one of the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Ignore the bad comments, clearly they haven't try real Mexican food. This was really good!

Food was fantastic! Pleasantly surprised by this place. We came back again the next day cause we enjoyed it so much.

The atmosphere is adequate but the food was amazing. Reasonable prices and good service.

Coworkers and I showed up to eat with a group of 14. They managed to sit us down together at one large table. As well as serve us quickly. Food was delicious.

Amazing ambiance! I didn't expect it to be so fun inside from the parking lot view. Great margaritas. recommend chicken soup. beautiful decor & fun atmosphere. Staff was attentive & quick.

This place has amazing food staff is great. Family Owned is better than any cooperate store. Baldo is a great manager and knows how to run a store

Suppperrr awesome fruit margarita. I got the spinach and mushroom quesadilla and that tasted amazing too. Totally recommend the guacamole as well!!!

Wish they sold burritos de Tripas or tacos. Or just fried pig Intestine. That would make they place more popular to have diffrent types of Mexican meat like Lengua, Bouche and others. That would be the day I spend over $100
