Patten Free Library

The best little library!! They have lots of things to do with your children and I love that! Very involved in the community and in a great spot in town!

A true gem in Bath. Cozy, quiet space with a wonderful selection of books and media. The kids sections are especially well thought out and packed with unique and interesting finds. Don’t miss the original Dahlov Ipcar mural and painting!

Beautiful building inside and out. Well stocked. The bandstand on the property is a plus and is still in use.

Great library! Nice selection, great atmosphere, wonderful events. If they don't have something on their shelves, I can easily get it sent in from another library.

Great place to bring your child

This is a really neat building with quiet places to study, tons of options for books, and friendly staff. I loved coming here when I lived in Maine.

SUPER Friendly Staff, GREAT Graphics Novel section (for Teens and Young Adult), an overall good selection of reading, amazing amount of audio stories, AMAZING Library Network (if they don't have the book you are looking for you are sure to find it within their Network), GREAT selection of downloaded books and a BEAUTIFUL Children's Department. Our family loves this Library!

I love the Patten Library. The staff members are helpful,smart,funny, supportive and attentive. The children's department is always ALIVE and the kids love the programs the team puts together for them

A beautifully kept brick library nestled in Library Park. Parking surrounds on the street side and in the municipal lot on site. Tons to offer to the community outside of books and reference access. Free WiFi and all the expected services are available. Also houses the Sagadahoc History and Genealogy room.
