Beale Street Barbeque

I absolutely love this place. The food is always delicious and the calamari was perfectly fried! The mood is wonderful. Blues and Jazz plays in the backround and it's such a nice atmosphere to be in.The vibes are just right.

SO GOOD!!! I went with my family for lunch and everything was delicious. i got the jambalaya and my family members got pulled pork and ribs, and it was all really really good! be sure to come before 5 pm though, since they'll likely be sold out of most meats—they have a limited daily supply that cuts down on food waste. all in all it was really really good! and everyone is nice :)

We are killing it ! In Bath ME, this place has real BBQ. Ribs, brisket, beans, greens, sweet mash potatoes all great!

Stopped in after trip to beach; had seen restaurant a few days before but opted fot Thai that time. Glad we tried! Both of us had brisket on the homemade cornbread and it was perfect! Meat tender and abundant, cornbread added some sweet contrast. Sauce was excellent and they served extra on the table. Also got a side of fries, which were crispy and well-seasoned. To top it off we shared a slice of key lime pie, one of our favorite desserts. Did not disappoint! Generous portion; buttery crust and tart filling,with a nice topping of whipped cream. Highly recommend.

We did takeout and took it back to our hotel. We had the beef brisket and the pulled pork, each with the grilled jalapeno corn bread. It was delicious, especially the beef brisket, which was tender, moist, virtually no fat.

We liked the food so much we had takeout from them again the next night. I really wanted to try one of the fish dishes but loved the brisket so much I ordered it again.

The atmosphere in the restaurant looked nice. Casual, but not picnic table casual. They have a nice looking full bar.

Prices were reasonable, although the price of sides ($3.50 or $3.75?) seemed a bit steep, but perhaps the portions are larger than the sides that come with the entrees?

Glad we stumbled upon this place during our aimless wandering around downtown Bath.

Ordered take out our first night in town, because we did not realize how early everything in the area closes. Such a Delicious choice! The meat, mac and cheese and corn bread were AMAZING! A little pricey, but so worth it. Staff were super friendly too.

The food was outstanding!! Sarah, our server whom we've had before, was bubbly, efficient and wonderful!! My jambalaya with sausage and blackened haddock was the perfect spice level and I must have had a full pound of haddock fillet!! We will continue to patronize this incredible restaurant!!

Cool place, food was amazing, staff was so nice. Kitchen staff was great answering our food allergy questions. We had pulled pork, the barbecuban, brisket and jambalaya- all were fantastic. The coleslaw side was awsome too! Can't wait to get back there!

One of the best BBQ's I've ever had! Wish this was in NY. Will definitely come again.

The food here is fantastic. Real smoked BBQ you can see the smoker out back. The ribs were so tender and full of that Mephis flavor. The jazz playing over the speakers and art on the walls have a real feel of Tennessee. Not the cheapest place especially if you bring the family, but totally worth it.

Never disappointed, always delicious food and drinks! The calamari is always perfect!

I ordered the brisket on grilled jalapeno bread to go, absolutely delicious! Took a seat at the bar and enjoyed a Gritty's black fly stout while I waited. There was a steady flow of happy customers and the atmosphere was perfect.

I have patronized this restaurant for 15+ years, and got a chance to visit last week while in town. Their pulled pork and ribs are always perfectly smoked and the sides (beans, cole slaw) are equally flavorful, portions are generous but wastefully excessive. Kitchen was backed up so we waited a bit longer than normal for our entrees to arrive. Server was friendly and attentive, did a good job of helping us pack up the leftovers.

Had dinner at Beale St on a Saturday night. Service was quick and friendly and our food came hot out of the kitchen. Started with the Mac and cheese which we both enjoyed and then we shared the bbq sampler with brisket. The jalapeño cornbread was a favorite! Ribs were perfectly cooked, we honestly enjoyed all of the different types of smoked meat. Glad this place is local, we’ll be back again.

The shrimp and sausage jambalaya was fantastic. I will go there again just for that. Pleasant atmosphere , great music at just the right volume : you can really hear it but have a conversation at the same time .

Excellent food and service! They were also very careful and offered up a way to make the pan fried haddock gluten free. I would highly recommend going here for a delicious meal!

Best BBQ in the state. I'm usually disappointed with brisket here in Maine. More often than not it tastes like roast beef. Not the case at Beale Street. The sliced brisket is flavorful and juicy. The best I've found so far. Hats off to the pit master!

Bonus: the cornbread is not dry!

I had the brisket and ribs it was great, the jalapeno cornbread was good but I like spicy stuff so there could have been a little more Jalapeno in it, but it was all good I'll definitely be back for more. Excellent coleslaw

No wonder they sell out! The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. It's a great place for those with nut allergies, as most items on the menu are free from anything problematic. Would highly recommend and I hope to eat here again!

Had the pulled pork and ribs combo. Delicious! Very nice smoked flavor and surprisingly generous portions. The cornbread was addictive. Definitely would recommend
