The Island Caribbean Cuisine and Drinks

I love the food from this place. Portions are huge and everything still arrives nice and hot when you order delivery. The food tastes so fresh and I like that the stuff are so nice about substitutions for my plate and you can’t find that at all in other places. Best Haitian food 🥘

I eat here all the time. This place is less than a year old and it looks like people don’t know it’s here yet.

The food is delicious! I think I’ve ordered almost everything on the menu, but it ranges from rice and meats such as fish, turkey, chicken, goat, and wings to plantains, French fries, and tasty passion fruit or lemonade beverages.

Their choice of music ranges from old school r&b to Haitian tunes. It’s very unique and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It’s a laid back atmosphere, but on weekends after hours, they move the tables for a dance arena for fun. You can still just come in for a bite to eat if you want.

I do eat here a lot because I just love the food. There is nothing on the menu that disappoints me.

My boyfriend and I had went here on Saturday afternoon for our date night and the atmosphere was amazing and are waiter Gerry was fabulous. The food was so damn good and good portions. We will definitely be going back again!

Absolutely phenomenal Haitian food - some of the best in greater Boston metro. We went on a Saturday for an early dinner and had excellent service. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and welcoming and the food and drinks are top-notch. We had pwason fri with diri kole and it was so well flavored. My friend ordered the griot and really enjoyed it as well. Definitely worth a visit.

We had the fried Turkey, black rice, Mac and chesse, potato salad and plaintain. 10 out of 10! I’m Haitian so you know the review is legit.

Best Hatian/Caribbean food around. The staff is so kind and greet you with a smile. Great music, great drinks and the patties are 🔥🔥🔥! Everything I've eaten from this place is phenomenal and I go at least once a month! Well done!

Freaking honest reviews! This restaurant is fantastic. The food was bomb, customer service on point, the manager wic locs was nice to my son and Chantale was very lovely. We got griot and tassot. Komanman! And guys, you GOTTA try their jus papaye ak lait! 😍😍😍❤❤❤ They even have a menu for kids. Outstanding service! I'm definitely coming back!

I come here whenever I’m at my place rare customer service is wonderful food is always good first time here on a Saturday rushed over for takeout they were nice to let me in because I had on jeans after 9pm on Saturday make sure you’re dressed to impress and you’ll enjoy yourself

This was the best experience I’ve had. The best service ever. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and attended to. The most authentic Haitian food in MA. I’m Haitian and the food was identical to my grandmothers cooking. I can tell the spices used are authentic. I had the red snapper, sospwa, macaroni and drinks. I was so full I could not finish because the portion was grand. I am very huge on quality experiences and the atmosphere, music and service made this one of the best experiences I’ve had dining out In Massachusetts. 10/10 would recommend. I even met the owner, she came to check on my table. Also, the drinks are top tier, the bartender Jerry knows his stuff!

This place is a hidden gem we ordered Fritay and rice and a couple of drinks and it was 55 dollars. Great prices and excellent food our waiter was jerry he was one of the sweetest human beings I ever met. He was informative about the food and flavors. Checked on us and was just excellent in every way possible.

This place has been my go to place for special occasions or just a good night out for a year now. The food is always hot & fresh and the atmosphere is always top tier and menu has so many delicious options.

We came here on Sunday the 27th for my boyfriend's 29th birthday dinner!! When I told him I was going to give them a 5star review, my boyfriend told me they deserved 10 stars!! That's how great this place is and how much we all enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were super creative, well put together and DELICIOUS! The food was great, music was awesome and they played multiple happy birthday songs in creole as we cut his cake !!! The staff were super laid back but still prompt and engaging!!! If you haven't checked out this restaurant yet, your definitely missing out on a hidden Gem !!!!!

The hospitality from Jerry was amazing. A very humble, respectful young man. The atmosphere was AMAZING!! The photos took you to Haiti if you have never been. The food was very tasteful and filling. I would surely give more than five stars if I was able to do so.

Me and my girlfriends/family went to the island and OMG! The marinade was to die for, it reminded me of marinade from back home and the akra too. The overall experience was great, the music and the vibes and the waiter who was the owner’s son was so sweet. We loved it and thank God we decided to stop there for dinner on our way back home to CT. We will definitely return whenever we are in Boston, MA.

Let’s start off with the welcome greet I received today from the employee named Johnathan. He was such a gentleman and helped me with my two toddler babies. I know how long fried snapper can take to prepare at local restaurants so I decided to call me order in prior to arrival. When he sat me and my daughters down my fried snapper in a delicious Haitian Creole sauce came out in about 5-10 mins. The food was fresh, the salad was amazing and the baked Haitian Mac and cheese my eldest daughter devoured. The total price for the entire meal was more than reasonable. Once again the hospitality was amazing. A young lady who spoke fluent Haitian Creole came out from the back of the kitchen and asked how I liked the food. I’ve been to countless Haitian/Caribbean restaurants , and I’ve never been welcomed with such love and kindness. This will be my go to place every Sunday. Also I saw advertisements for open mic, and dance nights. I’m glad I found this gem of the island Caribbean Cuisine. Amazing amazing amazing! I love every moment of it. It’s beautiful to see people of different races, and ethnicities, enjoying Caribbean food, good job island Caribbean, I’m happy for your success

Pro: easy to locate, decent welcoming environment. Great soft, pure Haitian drinks, the rice tastes like Haitian rice. The plantanes and piklis are great, the sauce pwa is great, and has clean bathroom. Plus The owner read the reviews because I believe he wants to become better and he cares for his restaurant- Bravo!

Everything was BOMB! Been wanting to try this place for the longest and I’m glad I finally did. I had the griot with rice & beans and also tried the beef tasso. 😍 Patties we’re on point and the passion fruit juice was everything! They included Mac & cheese (perfection) and beet salad in our meals. I don’t even really like beet salad but I ate it all! Worth the hour drive! 💕

Take out food came out very quickly and was fresh. The portions of rice and bean sauce were generous.
Looking forward to coming back to dine-in. Love seeing my Caribbean people have beautiful, clean, establishments with a full-bar!

As we walked in to this restaurant, we were immediately greated by a server who let us know we could pick any seat we wanted! I’ve never felt so welcomed EVER in a Haitian restaurant prior to this visit. I couldn’t help but notice how nice and clean this restaurant is. All the culturally representative painting and artisanal artifact adds a flare to the ambience. Our server Tamara was amazing she quickly rushed to our table to get us waters and menus. She was so attentive and kind! Overall my experience there was great, food was delicious! I can’t help but feel proud, we FINALLY have an upscale Haitian restaurant in the area, definitely feel confident bringing in my non haitian friends to get a taste of our culture! Looking forward to see more items on the menu 😊 Great job 👌🏾
