Oak Barrel Tavern

I really liked oak barrel. We have had takeout many times in the past 3 years, but i had never eaten there. Newer decor. High celiings. Bar and separate restaurant area. We had burger and salad, both were fine, and very reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient waiter. Would happily return.

Just the ticket for a casual lunch. BBy back ribs were tender and properly sauced and were not greasy as some can be. Onion rings were exceptional if you like crispy breading and mild onion flavor. Can't say enough good things about the Fish and Chips. Haddock filets with again a great crunch with the breading. Our server was especially friendly without being too attentive. Just perfect.

My husband and I really enjoy sitting at the bar for dinner at Oak Barrel Tavern. Poe has been our server/bar tender a number of times and he consistently goes above and beyond. The food is always delicious, and no matter how busy he is, Poe is always friendly, attentive and cheerful!

We were in the mood for a burger and Oak Barrel Tavern did not disappoint. Burger and fries were great and the buffalo chicken dip was spectacular! We didn't finish our dinner and ended up taking the rest home with us. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere! A must dining experience for sure.

Wonderful service, great good and awesome atmosphere. Our server, Iza, was very friendly and fast- she checked in with us just enough. Did was spot on. I had the left coast burger (no jalapenos since I'm a mild girl) with sweet potato tots (I would come here alone for these, they were so good). Husband had the bbq burger with regular tots and he cleaned his plate. Drinks were good too, nice bar (we ate at a table though). Very clean, would definitely recommend!

Food is always solid - what you expect to get from a casual American restaurant. We usually get the bowls or salads, and our kids love the Mac & Cheese, chicken fingers, and flatbread.

Service has always been friendly & prompt. It's a good spot for a family meal out!

Loved everything about my first visit to the oak barrel tavern. The food was excellent, the prices are very good and the service was great.

Ordered delivery with door dash. Food was pretty good, some room for improvement, but still gets 5 stars because it's better than the other local options for tavern-type food (e.g. local kitchen). Steak was great, perfectly cooked along with the side veggies. Salmon was overcooked and dry. Chicken tenders were ok, ordered garlic parmesan and the topping was much too light. Chili was very good. Overall, decent job, not fantastic, but better than other local options.

We love the calamari. Food comes out quickly. Decor is nice. We haven't been disappointed the few times we have come.

We just moved to the area and tried OBT, it was delicious! My husband was raving over his chicken wrap, said it was the best seasoned chicken he has had. We definitely recommend!

Consistently and reliably good food. Management is visible and available. Chicken Stingers and Fish and Chips are outstanding. Fry game is champion level.
Burger cooked medium? on point. Impressive because it's hard to find a place you can count on and recommend to others. Oak Barrel is all that and more.

Great food! The wife and I took the girls for lunch, great atmosphere, I love the wood details. They have fairly large portion sizes for the kids menu, at a price that doesn't break the bank. Our food was really good as well, it was not overpriced and also came in decent sized portions. We'll definitely be going back sometime, maybe without the kids for a little more of an intimate dining experience. We went around 1:30 this trip, not slammed, and very comfortable!

Heather S could not have been more helpful on our first visit. She took all our food needs into account and we enjoyed our cheeseburger and haddock tacos immensely. And Heather was spot on her recommendations. She knows her menu, including drinks and wine. Thank you Heather for making our rare early dinner out a success. We took home food in addition so we do not have to cook. And thanks to Ashley for her help seeing us out.

Very good beer choices. Very nice ambience snd service. Room for improvement on the appetizer choices.

This place is beyond exceptional. I was just driving by, saw this place, and decided to go in with my girlfriend. The bartender was exceptionally nice and charming (he even learned our names)!

Their draft beer selection was versatile and very reasonably priced. The bourbon burger was phenomenal. You could tell that the quality of meat was high. My girlfriend got the truffle pasta with the pulled pork on top. She loved it.

We will be coming back frequently! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have celiac disease and can't have gluten. They have a great gluten free bun and the juiciest best tasting burger I've gotten at a restaurant. Caramelized onions cooked perfectly, bacon and cheese was fresh, cooked to perfection. Great food.

Oak Barrel is a favorite of ours and is always good. We never leave here hungry! Great burgers and steaks and the Cobb salad is fantastic! The also have a good selection of appetizers and dessert offerings. The waitstaff are very friendly and attentive as well. Better than average pub food worth trying!

Brand new

Very crowded on a Friday night. The bartenders were great, the food just so-so. My salmon was overcooked and dry and my summer vegetables were undercooked. My partner's meat loaf was better but not great.

Seems to attract a trendy crowd.

Edited review: I've since been back twice to Oak Barrel and the food has been good. The service is great, too!
