As a vendor, I had the pleasure of working with Pierce House for a wedding event, and it was an absolute delight! The team's professionalism and eagerness to assist made collaboration seamless. The Pierce House is a wonderful wedding venue with beautiful locations to capture your wedding photos! I recently did a wedding here and I was truly impressed with this venue!

The Pierce House is a gorgeous location for a wedding. I shot a wonderful wedding there last fall and it was a wonderful experience. My couple absolutely adores the venue coordinator, Victoria. The grounds are breathtaking and the garden area is a stunning location for the ceremony. The willow trees on the property also offer a dreamy backdrop for photos. My couples know that if there is a willow tree around I will use it!

The Pierce House is an excellent venue for a wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the house and the grounds were. It is set in a massive, well-kept park. The tent is beautiful, complete with up-lighting and a full paver floor, and the ease of access into the house was very convenient. We would definitely recommend the Pierce House to any couple searching for a venue - especially for DIY couples and weddings with 50 guests or fewer.

The Pierce House was the perfect venue for our wedding (8/4/18). First of all, it's absolutely stunning. The house itself is such a beautiful backdrop, and the surrounding gardens and rolling lawns add so much natural beauty. There really isn't a bad place for a picture here!

The Pierce House is a very "DIY" venue, but that's what my fiance and I were looking for. I felt like they were very upfront from the beginning about what they would and would not provide - they made it clear that they would basically provide the space and we would provide everything else. This was perfect for us since we wanted freedom in choosing our vendors and didn't want a pre-packaged hotel deal. The only vendor you have to use is their tent rental company (Come Rain or Shine) for the outdoor tent and dance floor, but I found them to be very easy to work with.

Nancy, the manager at Pierce House, was very responsive and helpful - we even showed up unannounced one weekend months before our wedding to show the venue to my parents, and Nancy welcomed us and gave us a full tour. Her assistant, Laura, also stepped in to help during the final walkthrough with our caterer. You will need to hire a separate wedding coordinator, but it's nice to have Nancy on hand to answer venue-related questions.

Overall, we were very pleased with Pierce House, and our guests were definitely wowed by the house and gardens. It's a great spot!

A wonderful event location. We were there to attend a wedding; our first experience at Pierce House. Gorgeous location and grounds with large pond! House is beautiful. Easy to get to. Lovely quiet area. Easy to imagine you've gone back in time 150 years.

I photographed a wedding at the Pierce House this summer, and the house and its grounds made for a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Victoria, the Director, does a stellar job keeping the property and the grounds immaculately maintained which every photographer can appreciate! Victoria is also wonderful to work with, and made the day run smoothly for every vendor there. I feel lucky to have shot a wedding at the Pierce House and would love to return again!

My daughter's wedding in October was totally amazing. Pierce House and its grounds were gorgeous and immaculately kept.
Director Victoria, met every one of our needs, was so easy to work with and an obvious expert in the hospitality area. Her professionalism showed in every aspect of our function. I would highly recommend this venue for any gathering or celebration hence the 5 star review!

Absolutely an outstanding venue for a wedding! The inside was beautiful and the outside very comfortable.

The Pierce House was the perfect venue for our August wedding. My husband and I were looking for a wedding venue with both indoor and outdoor areas which could accommodate 150 guests. the Pierce house far exceeded our expectations. Nancy, the house manager, is lovely to work with. She helped coordinate vendors and deliveries, and was so helpful day-of moving the ceremony into the tent and the buffet into the house to accommodate the rainy weather. The house itself is beautiful. We were able to hang family photos throughout. The dressing rooms were light filled and made for good pictures! There were so many spaces where people ended up sitting and talking late into the night. The tent is also beautiful with the fairy lights, and we had no trouble fitting all our guests inside with room to spare. Importantly for us, we were able to use the vendors we wanted, and brought our own alcohol. I highly recommend the Pierce house for any wedding!

We hosted our wedding reception at the Pierce House in May 2021 and could not recommend it more for anyone looking to have a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue for family and friends. Victoria was extremely helpful and very relaxed in helping us plan our wedding, and was always available to answer questions or meet up to show us around. We had to reschedule more than once, but Victoria was always understanding and up to date with the latest coronavirus guidelines. The weekend of our wedding ended up being about 20 degrees colder than typical for that time of year, but the hybrid indoor/outdoor nature of the venue made for a perfect setting. We were even able to host a welcome event the night before, which gave us another chance to see our friends and family. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved the venue, and we were so happy to have been able to have a safe and special wedding day.

Did a catering event here for a wedding this past weekend. The house is beautiful breathe taking, with a working fireplace and lots of land. The house manager is a delight and helps bring out the potential in the house. Would love to revisit.

We were married at the Pierce House in May and it was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous outdoor spaces (including pond, garden, a huge open field...) and the house itself is stunning - with an option to personalize rooms with photos and items from home. We had the perfect day, and Nancy was so helpful and organized in making it all happen. Highly, highly recommend. It was the best day of our lives, in the most beautiful setting!!!

I was at this venue for a wedding. The house is immaculately clean and well maintained. The grounds are well kept and beautiful, and the interior of the house is furnished in period decor. All in all a lovely venue.

PERFECT WEDDING! From the time we chose to have our wedding at the Pierce house until Our wedding day, we couldn’t have been happier with Our choice! The beautiful house, the lush and romantic grounds, the beautiful tent set over the patio (not on grass ....which was awesome) , the porch for cocktail hour, and with out a doubt, our personal favorites..... The Trees!!! Weeping Willows and Shady Oaks gave us the perfect backdrops for so many amazing pictures! Victoria Otis was beyond wonderful to work with and made us feel so special! Her attention to detail is flawless and she truly cared about making our day everything we wanted it to be! Five stars isn’t enough!!

Really pretty! I went for a wedding and it is beautiful and the garden outside is too! There is also a pond right next to it and a nice big grassy field right next to it. It's a good place to have picnics or go for a walk. Definitely recommend visiting.

Amazing location, spent the evening here for a friends wedding and the grounds are beautiful! It is set back from the street with a beautiful front lawn and set next to a small pond with many old flowering and weeping trees. The house itself was well kept with a lot of historical pieces scattered throughout the home! I must see place.

My partner and I got married here October 6, 2018 and it was STUNNING! Nancy was so easy to work with and let us add our own touches to the house to make the evening even more sentimental. We put up family pictures all over the house. We looked at a lot of venues before selecting the Pierce House. The other venues that were even close to the beauty of the Pierce House all had in house caterers or 2 that you could choose from and were incredibly overpriced. The Pierce House lets you customize your event. The only tricky part for us was picking a caterer who met the insurance requirements for the Pierce House, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we ended up with a caterer from their recommended list who saved our wedding (rental disaster) on more than one occasion. Guests went on and on about how beautiful everything was! We highly recommend the Pierce House!
