Best massage I’ve EVER had! Came in for a couples massage in the Himalayan salt room. We had an amazing time at Serenity. They greeted us with mimosas or tea, and a heated aroma therapy pack to go around our necks while we waited in the waiting room. I was extremely impressed and will 100% be back!

Wonderful experience at Serenity in the City! Cut, color, & style with Lisa, who was so great. There were so many different options for type and tone and she walked me through everything. Decided on a demiglaze and I’m loving it! I will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends.

I've come here for various services in the last couple of years and I've always had a very pleasant experience. Manicures and pedicures, eyebrow waxing, haircuts, and a couples massage for myself and my husband after our wedding. I've also booked day packages here before and I've always had a really good experience. The staff are very friendly and nice, especially when you have questions about services that you haven't had before. They are very good at explaining, knowledgeable, and very patient. I came here for hairstyling for my dress rehearsal for my wedding with my mom and she had a really good time as well. It's a quiet and beautiful space, but really I think the personalities of the staff are what makes the experience so nice. My family has started buying me gift cards here for holidays and things like that, and my husband now sends me for a manicure whenever I've been a little stressed. Can't say enough nice things, and would always recommend to friends.

Came here for a mommy makeover! Been doing my hair at home for decades and decided to treat myself and boy am I happy I picked this place! My balayage came out beautiful, so soft and looks good no matter how I wear it! Everyone here is super nice and the prices are great too! I love my hair thank you so much!!!

I've been here for massages, facials, had my nails done... all were fabulous, especially the massages. I live half an hour away now but I keep coming back because I love them!! I scheduled a spa day for next month and I am counting down the days!!

I had a facial done by Tara over the weekend. I can’t say enough good things. She is so educated and so good at what she does. My skin feels amazing. Every product she recommended was worth the buy! I will definitely be back in 6 weeks!

Booked an entire day package for my birthday and had a fantastic time. The entire staff made me feel welcome! The facilities were clean, staff were attentive and often went above and beyond. Sipped on a mimosa and some champagne throughout my relaxing day - it was pure bliss. I will absolutely be back and will make the package a tradition on my bday!!

Serenity was the first stop on my bachelorette party and we had such a nice time. Each member of the group was able to choose a service or set of service(s) that fit their budget, and the spa created a schedule so everything could be accommodated within our timing. All services got great reviews, the scalp massage in particular was a big hit. The spa is big but cozy, clean, well run, and with so many staff members to accommodate groups and make everything run smoothly. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend for are larger group or party!

Great spa and salon. Had a great experience with Tara. She’s a great esthetician that does amazing treatments. Staff are friendly and sweet including the front desk team. Vast assortment of salon grade professional hair & beauty products to choose from. This space is huge with many services to choose from including manicure and pedicure.

I had a great pedicure from Kimmy yesterday. I always love feeling pampered, but also love that the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being there. Always a great environment!

I cannot say enough about the hospitality of Serenity in the City! I was about 20 min late due to ending up at the wrong place and then losing phone signal and not knowing where I was going. With that said, when I showed they welcomed me with open arms and were so understanding. Marleny was amazing! She was so sweet and gentle. She mentioned all the details to me as it was my first time, and I felt nothing but relaxed the whole time and still 4 hours later!! 🙂 needless to say, I did not leave without booking my next massage with Marleny. I can’t wait!

The salon is beautiful, but I'm writing this review mainly about Kiante, the massage therapist. She's phenomenal. I've had other massages there and Kiante clearly stands out. She doesn't rush, she asks very specific questions about what you're looking for, and best of all she doesn't talk the whole time.
I'm so glad I found her and I'll be seeing her as frequently as possible from here on out.

Recently I had a spa day at Serenity in The City, and it was such a great time. Everything at Serenity in The City is nice and clean, and all the staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend getting anything from a massage to a pedicure at Serenity.

We brought clients here for the whole package. Everyone was so kind and professional. Even the lunch provided was delicious. We would definitely come back when we come back to Boston.

My hubby and I got a couples massage in the Himalayan Salt room. We had Neri and Calinda and both of them are phenomenal! 2nd time with them and we are making it monthly.
Also, got an armpit wax from Nick and he is fantastic!!

Amazing hair salon. Haven’t tried their spa yet, so can’t speak for that. This place is so beautiful and relaxing. Every staff is so nice and the hair stylists actually listens to you and tries to understand what you want. Mine stylist is Jamie. She was very patient and during the whole haircut she checked with me whether I like the length, the cut, and the bang.
The cost was $50 since Jamie is a mid level stylist, but I was so shock that they didn’t expect you to tip, or there is nothing to sign to give tips.

Serenity in the City is definitely a top choice place to go for skin care and beauty needs. Located conveniently on Middlesex Ave in Medford with plenty of parking I was greeted by two lovely staff members who escorted me into a private waiting area stocked with herbal teas, infused water and even mimosas. With actual champagne! I was given a warm neck wrap and sat in one of the comfortable chairs with my cucumber water and filled out the pretreatment questionnaire. I waited no more than ten minutes before being called.

My Hydrafacial was with Tara who took time asking me questions about my health, my wellness, and my skin needs. As someone who has very sensitive skin, Tara made sure to check on me through out the HydraFacial and was very attentive. You can tell when someone enjoys their work and cares. The process was relaxing, Tara took her time preparing my skin with oil cleansing, foam cleansers, cooling eye pads, painless extractions and my favorite the cooling marble stone globes for post procedure redness. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at how calm my skin looked after compared to other times I’ve done HydraFacials. When I woke up day two my active breakouts have significantly reduced in redness, and size and my complexion looks brighter. I highly recommend a visit to Serenity in the City next time you want to treat yourself or someone else!

I can’t say enough good things about Serenity in the City. It is truly phenomenal. I have been to many high end spas while traveling and and Serenity is the best experience I have ever had. Their services and atmosphere are that of a high end spa with the incredibly affordable prices. Serenity is the only place I have ever been too which I’ll say “any available provider” because everyone is THAT good.

Today I had a facial with Amanda which was absolutely incredible and my massage with Marta was the cherry on top. Everyone here is SO kind. There was a minor mishap with my scheduling and my appointment needed to be moved back a bit which was totally fine with me because I got to relax in the relaxation room with complimentary drinks and snacks. They even comped me an add on service for the mishap which was completely unnecessary but just goes to show their extraordinary service. I will be back! And back, and back, and back…:)

I’ve been seeing Diana for my hair for years now. She’s lovely and talented and this place is really well run. My hair always looks good!
