Cafe On The Common

Fell in love on first visit! This is one of those places I would always pass and say “I want to go there some time” and I’m so glad I finally did! The ambiance is super cozy/comfy, the people are so nice, and the food/drinks are wonderful. The Garden Club with turkey is delish!

The white chocolate with strawberry latte is to die for. The device was friendly, and it is a peaceful place to read and just relax.

I didn’t even get a chance to take a pic before we devoured most of our meal - it was so good!! The breakfast sandwich was delicious - no gluten free bread but they made my friend a breakfast meal sans bread. The coffee is seriously delicious. Staff is super friendly & kind as well! 10/10 recommend.

This place always has a good vibe! Don’t know how to explain the feeling. Music is good, people quite nice, a lot of space so you don’t feel too close to anyone. Beautiful view on the park and most importantly coffe tastes great! Especially summer special affogato (a double shot poured over a scoop of ice-cream)

Location is great, with access to the commuter rail, bus lines, and plenty of street parking. The shop is spacious, with high roofs, large couches, tables, and a variety of seats to do everything from sitting down and conversing to opening up a laptop and getting work done. I went with a preschooler, and there was plenty of couch space and wooden games to keep him occupied while I had my coffee. Even if the cafe were crowded, there’s always the common or the river walk right nearby.

The dark roast I had was excellent. We got a pumpkin muffin and the vegan snickerdoodle cookie (?), both of which my family enjoyed.

The staff was super friendly. I’d like to come back to sample the food and more of the coffee menu.

This is a really neat cafe inside an old building. It has a very 1950s feel because of the decor and architecture. But it's a modern espresso machine that made my visit so enjoyable. I had a really great latte! I would love to live in the neighborhood and stop by and hang out at this place for an hour every day!

Excellent local cafe. Great and large variety of coffee, very friendly employees, and excellent sandwiches/pastry items for sale for a quick bite. Reasonable prices and a nice interior to read a book while you get a drink

This is a delightful local café that serves up a variety of sundries and coffee. It has a great seating area with ample natural light and space to do your work. The service has always been tremendous and I recommend this local haunt for any weary traveler looking for a Perk to keep on going or a place to do work & socialize with colorful Massachusetts peoples

Great spot on Moody street to grab a nice cup of coffee. It's got a very chill vibe but has tons of windows and spaced out tables - lots of people on laptops, but plenty of others just chatting.

Definitely a good place to add to your local coffee shops list!

This place is AMAZING wow!! This is the most flavorful avacado toast that I've ever had. It tastes and smells so fresh! I am in love!!! I got the deluxe and it was almost too much, they really give you a lot. Such a great deal and amazing quality.

Inside the Cafe it's so cute, a very fun and chill vibe. But, my one and biggest compliant is that it was so hot inside the building. I started sweating the second I walked in. It was actually cooler outside and it's like almost 70 today. It took me 20 minutes just to stop sweating. I would have been way more comfortable if there was some kind of airflow in there. I had to leave after a while of the heat.

Aside from the hot atmosphere, this place slaps! I love it. The food is good the coffee is good. There was a lot of cinnamon in my coffee though so it was kind of granulated from that. But that's just me, the overall taste and coffeeness of the coffee was lovely. Be prepared to find parking though. Early morning is best to find a spot.

Avacado today w/ aoli was fire! Chai tea was really good as well. 2 people running the place were extremely friendly and welcoming. Top notch Cafe

The barista is so friendly and the cookies are amazing. Great place to get some work done. Lovely ambiance.

My go-to-place for studying, a quick coffee break, or to chill and meet friends. I love the ambience, the quality of their food and beverages and -above all- the super cool and genuinely nice baristas.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in all of New England. The staff here is extremely friendly even when busy & rushed, they still give the best customer service you could ask for. The food is all fresh and full of flavor. I suggest the Chicken Express sandwich. If you're looking for good service, food, & coffee, I'm sure You will not be disappointed here!

Nice cafe with lots of tables and places to sit. Sandwiches and variety of baked goods are great. The kind staff and strong coffee make this a perfect location to read away an afternoon.
