I recently had a fantastic experience. James friendly and professional, he pays close attention to deliver the perfect haircut. I highly recommend this place!

I usually travel all the way to Boston to see my barber but Since I found Ace of fades I never been anywhere else. I always have an amazing experience getting my hair cut. My barber is attentive, professional and stays going above and beyond to make sure I got the perfect haircut. The shop was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere which made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this barber to anyone looking for a great haircut and excellent service.

Ace of Fades is the only barbershop I trust with my hair. There are at least two barbershops within walking distance of my block in Cambridge, but I’ve been coming across town to James exclusively for over 15yrs now for precise cuts at a more than reasonable price. It’s a clean, comfortable shop, and conveniently located right outside the Tufts campus.

I have tried a dozen barbers in the Boston area and most of them are Okay at best. James is a pro. Literally a perfect cut. And he takes his time to make sure its perfect. I would give Ace 10 stars if I could. The hype is real. I will never go anywhere else.

Best haircut in the area. Appointment always on time, never late which is important if you have a busy lifestyle. Haircut last for a while unlike other barbers where the cut is good for a few days. Come once and you won't go back to wherever you went before. Shop is clean and family friendly.

Im a Haitian young woman with natural hair who was ready to cut it shorter for easy cute styling. Nothing too fancy- but clean and neat. I called ahead and sent James a picture for reference and he had me in the same day. I L O V E my haircut. Love love love. He is easy going, professional, and clearly talented with the clippers.

Been going to Supercuts for the last two years and had some mixed reviews. Lately, I felt they have been rushing the haircut and making small, annoying mistakes. Decided to give Ace of Fades a try. Couldn't be more happier with the decision. James did such a phenomenal job with my haircut. He was very meticulous with my hair from the sideburns, hair length, and facial hair. James did a great job and I cannot wait to go back again.

Great atmosphere, quiet place, very nice, and highly skilled barber that cuts all types of hair. An adult environment, will accommodate kids, and can cut kids hair well, but I bring my kids to a place where they will have more fun. It's a one barber establishment, try to go during off peak hours, there will be less of a wait. I drive an hour to get my hair cut, definitely recommend!
