AAA Powell

Listen, I don't normally review auto repair shops because almost every single one I've dealt with has broken my trust at some point. This is not the case for AAA, Matt and Jeff do a great job communicating and never sell anything that's not needed. There have been times when they could have done so but did not, which sets them apart from 99% of shops I've dealt with. However, if something actually needs done, they will do a good job and quote a fair price. Highly recommend!

AAA Car Care Plus in Powell always takes great of my car! They service your vehicle and show you what needs to be repaired or replaced without trying to deceive you. That is so nice! I have found AAA Care Care Plus in Powell to be honest, dependable and very nice to work with each time my car has been serviced there. They keep me informed of the progress when working on my vehicle and they explain the work they performed when my vehicle is ready to drive home.

Most recently Matt and Zach did routine maintenance on my car. Matt showed me the black dirt on my engine air filter and he also showed me how my tires were aging in a very unhealthy way. Matt had Zach replace the engine air filter and Matt helped me find great tires that handle well in the rain and snow. Zach did a great job putting the new tires on the car after he balanced them and adjusted the alignment. These guys are quite the team and I really appreciate them! They go above and beyond in their customer service and care for your car! I highly recommend AAA Car Care Plus in Powell!

I have never been more impressed with the quality of service as well as honesty I received from this AAA automotive service store. Matt, Jeff and the mechanic did an outstanding job communicating, telling me as well as showing what my vehicle needed to be serviced and why. This branch also sent me an email telling me what was good with my vehicle and what needed to be repaired and why. They also included pictures showing me the reason for the repair needed. This branch as well as all the individuals that work there are absolutely outstanding. They don’t fix things that don’t need fixed or tell you things that are not true with your vehicle. They are only going to fix things that are actually needed to be fixed or repaired. I am never taking my vehicle anywhere else. I am a loyal, committed customer of AAA automotive service store in Powell. Matt, Jeff and the mechanic (sorry I forgot his name) were extremely fantastic and have earned my business, loyalty and respect. Plus, the word-of-mouth marketing I will do for this AAA branch.

Matt was super helpful when I went to pick up my car after needing the tire repaired. They were able to repair it and save me from paying for a brand new one. I would highly recommend Matt and AAA car care plus in Powell for your car service needs. I’ll definitely be going back.

Used this shop many times in last several years since moving to Powell. Matt and the team there are incredibly responsive and engaged. They put in a tremendous amount of effort to make sure they have diagnosed the problem correctly before starting work and do a great job of giving you all the options. The quality of the work is top notch.

I got a nail in my tire on the way home from work on a Friday night. They were able to get me in Saturday morning. They had the right kind of tire that I needed and because they were so kind and great I decided to get four new tires instead of just one or two. They could see me immediately as soon as I got my car towed to them, which when I called AAA was not an issue (AAA memberships are so worth having) I highly recommend this place for tires and after speaking with them I will be headed there for my next oil change and any other car issues that might arise in the future without a doubt. Matt was very kind and very informative. They were there when I needed them no hassle it was a pleasure doing business here.

Matt, Jeff and John are fantastic! They have saved me a lot of money multiple times. I am so glad to have found a Auto garage I can trust. Their honesty is over the top. This is my go-to garage for all auto repairs and maintenance. Thank you guys! This is a place my family can go to and I trust they will be taken care of.

I’ve NEVER written a google review before— but the kindness & services I received at this location were AMAZING! My car’s rear brakes were in horrible condition and the manager Matt went above and beyond to help me with repairs and saving money! He went as far as replacing my windshield wipers & air filter free of charge (on top of the oil change & brake repairs I needed done) It was a great experience and everyone there was very friendly and helpful with all of my concerns! Thank you for everything!!

AAA Powell is the best place to go, especially if you are a young adult. Jeff at the front desk is great & Matt is awesome. Matt took pictures & explained everything to me & even took me into the shop & showed me specifics. I don’t know much about cars in general but Matt was very transparent about what was needed & not needed. He told me what I didn’t need to spend a lot money & did not try & sell anything I didn’t need. I have been to many places & this place is by far the best!

Had a shock installed at an out of town service center while traveling. Came home and the shock failed, so it was unsafe to drive back to the original shop. Reached out to AAA Powell for help and from the first call, through the drop-off, follow-up and confirmation, the team (especially Matt) was accessible, responsive and went above and beyond to help navigate the warranty issues in addition to completing the repair. This was my first time at this location and I intend to be a regular customer going forward.

Absolutely AMAZING! I could not be happier with the customer service and fine detail of work performed. We were really in a bind and Matt came through for us on a Saturday morning. I very strongly recommend Matt and his crew ! This is the place to go!

I’m back at AAA in powell for an oil change and tire rotation, driving 30 min out of my way just because the folks at this service center are so welcoming, respectful, and I get treated as a whole human here, unlike other car shops. They do a great job, are very informative about what they see in my car, never have tried to convince me to do something that didn’t seem needed, and even remembered today that I can get a free tire rotation today since I bought my tires there last time. It’s a positive experience every time I go.

Great experience getting an oil change/tire rotation today! Appointment was at 10 and was done by 1030. Excellent customer service. I will definitely return!

We have used AAA for our cars for years. We went to the old Dublin location before Powell and have had great service with both locations. The Powell location has done various services for my Subaru. They are attentive, timely and helpful. They even helped me out this last visit by giving me a ride while my car was repaired. Very genuine staff, excellent service and overall a great customer experience. They explain the service in detail and are clear with the charges.

I will come back to this auto shop ANY time I need work done. Manager is very trustworthy, this is coming from a woman who has been scorned by many other auto shops. Work done quick, they let you know what repairs need done but talk you through which is a “right now fix” and what’s not. Even gave me advice on buying a new car (since the car I brought is practically in hospice, but I knew this walking in). Very respectful, intelligent workers. I deeply recommend this specific AAA. They seem surprisingly passionate about their work here. :-) yay.

I last visited AAA Powell years ago, and had a great experience but I recently visited again in Powell for help with a rare/odd problem, and left the car to diagnose it. The problem ended up stumping us at the time, but AAA Powell was considerate, helpful, and genuinely helpful in improving the issue. They didn't charge for their diagnostic time since we didn't track down the issue (figured it out later), and I'll be happy to take my car there with my next request.
