Pictures are from the parking lot at 9pm. Had the store virtually to myself. Also slid in there during the snow tonight. I made a bad choice to go out, but I'm glad this place is here. Its more difficult to get to Kroger from 750, and, also they likely would have been out of stock on some of the things I wanted (Sunday night is the worst time to go for stocking esp with supply issues going on.). I don't regularly go to GE because it costs more, but I've found myself in here more because of the convenience. Lanes are always open with plenty of staff to help. Be forewarned tho if you use the self scans the voice on them will scare your pants off, its so loud. Gets me every time!

My favorite grocery store. They have made a lot of improvements in the last couple of months. The ready-to-eat meals are superb, with a lot of variety. Very clean store. This is the only store where I actually enjoy the self checkout registers. One last thing. The shopping carts are wonderful! No squeaking, and they turn easily. Kind of hard to describe what makes them so good.

Beautiful store. Taste of the Holidays for Christmas was awesome. Food samples & live music while you shop. Grocery well stocked. New Starbucks in store is cool. Employees are very helpful and friendly.

I love Giant Eagle's app for placing pick up grocery orders. They also offer delivery, though I've never personally managed to get a delivery time slot since they fill up fast!

I love that I can look at their weekly ad online and then add that item that's for sale to my cart. I don't have to mark it down, go back to the main page, search it up, and then add it IF I can find that particular item.

When looking at your online cart, you can allow a substitute or not per item and even leave a note. I would love to be able to pick a particular product as a substitute, but their app doesn't do that.

The app does track location though so if you click the "I'm on my way" option the app seems to know when you've arrived because I get a notification that they see I've arrived and I don't need to call they will be out with my groceries soon.

Giant Eagle's app also allows for online use of EBT and p-EBT cards (pandemic related). It allows you to check your balance on the card as well. Such a very nice option.

The store inside is clean and, while not organized in my personally preferred method, is sensibly organized. Customer service, whether you shop online or in person, is fabulous and deserves very high praise. Their meat is easily the best I've seen locally UNLESS you go to a specialty butcher shop.

They also carry a fairly decent number of vegetarian and vegan options. There are other general grocery stores that have more vegan and vegetarian things, but Giant Eagle has enough that you will have options.

Always clean and well organized! Love their meat department too!

On the morning of 10/10/2022 our "nephew" received notification he had passed his final exam for his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. At 3:30 PM I called the bakery at Giant Eagle and spoke with Marge in the hopes I could get some kind of graduation cake in the middle of October. Marge explained they were unable to make a cake that would be ready before dinner, but had a cake already made that she could make work. Marge dug up some graduation decorations and worked with the cake decorator to add a congratulatory message to the top of the cake and I picked it up on my way to a restaurant. The one-eighth white sheet cake with buttercream icing was excellent! A BIG THANK YOU to Marge, and the entire bakery staff at Giant Eagle! Very well done! Very professional! Thank you.

Prices tend to be a little higher, but they also offer goods and services others do not. Employees seem friendly but all very busy generally. Cashiers getting an override takes much longer than it should, so avoid the flashing light line.

Giant Eagle consistently has the best produce, and the Fuel Perks program can't be beat. On top of all that, there are always more than enough full and self service checkouts that you won't be delayed. I almost forgot, if you have a G.E. card self-scanning is a great choice because you scan and bag as you shop, then go to a self scan register. At that machine you scan the machine, return the scanner and pay, all without a wait. One caveat, it can get slow if you are scanning 20 of the same item. After a couple of scans the system can lag to as long as 3 or 4 seconds before it is ready to scan the next item.

Love the 4000 W Powell Rd location. Great produce & meat department. While the bakery is smaller than some groceries, the quality is much better than any. Staff is always friendly and will proactively ask if you need assistance. Have been using this pharmacy for years. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and goes out of their way to be helpful. They respond quickly to requests and questions. Altho I no longer work in the area, we drive 30mins to keep our relationship and pharmacy needs with them!

He was very efficient and friendly! But mostly, he packed my groceries perfectly! All the cold items were bagged together, all the freezer items bagged together, produce, cans etc... Now, you think that would be common sense but I cannot tell you how many times I have been to a grocery store and my groceries are bagged so poorly! I get home with smashed bread, produce bagged with canned items… Calvin took the time and bagged my groceries the way they should be bagged!

Store is undergoing a renovation to flip it to a Market District footprint. It’s a mess right now but the renovations are going quickly. Wine department was reset and expected as of today. Will update as it progresses!

I came to Giant Eagle at 8:20pm looking for balloons for my mom's birthday party in the morning. A very nice young lady (Yuki) saw me looking and asked if I needed help. She was very helpful and kind and quickly inflated the 16 balloons I needed. The world would be a better place if there were more people like her. Thank you, Yuki!

Very poor delivery service experience. Only sent 2/3rds of my order and then they called expecting me to pay another $12.95 to get the rest fo the order sent the following day. All they had to do is say we will have it all to you tomorrow and we would have waited for the complete order. Was not explained or handled correctly. Was it really worth the $12.95 to make a guest this upset? After expressing my disappointment they called and are sending my order without the fee. Nice Guest Recovery.

The employees are wonderful. The pharmacy in particular is wonderful and we use it heavily. There are always enough lanes and they manage social distancing very well.

This is NOT my regular Giant Eagle store. I went here 2X to get my Covid shots. However, it looks like a very nice and larger store.
Workers also seem very nice and helpful.

Love shopping here. I could go to Kroger which is 1/2 mile from me, but I travel 5 miles to shop here. The store itself is great, but the staff is what really makes it!

If your looking for a grocery store with excellent costumer service and a great working environment, this is it! I have been working at this store for over a year, so trust me this is the place to shop.
