We ordered the gyoza dumplings, harumaki rolls, the hibachi Filet Mignon and shrimp with fried rice·
Everything we got was delicious. The spring’s rolls were delicious. The dumplings were delicious and dipped in Gyoza sauce.
I got the hibachi Fillet Mignon & shrimp . It came with a yum yum sauce & ginger sauce. I enjoyed dunking my food in the sauces. The fried rice was fresh and flavorful.. not too much soy sauce.

This is the ABSOLUTE best place for fresh Sushi and Hibachi in Columbus Ohio! Love the happy hour and lunch specials. But overall everything is 100% amazing and fresh. I usually don't leave a review until I have been to a place multiple times at different times of the day. We have been here for lunch, dinner, and take out; all of which were great.

Tanuki Japanese steakhouse is always a pleasant, delicious experience. Best Japanese steak house in the Columbus area, probably all of Ohio. Very different from a Japanese steak house in Japan(Teppanyaki) but excellent nonetheless.

This place feels like a second home! The staff and manager are always so friendly and we get our food quick. The lunch time deals are also incredible if you want a smaller portion size.

My family and I came in on a Sunday night. We had hibachi on football Sunday. Our food came out very fast, we got out of the restaurant within an hour. We got the Ninja Roll for appetizers and I had to say it was one of the best rolls around Columbus. Great portion size. Would recommend it to friends and come back myself. The service was excellent and very professional. Thanks again!

This is one of my favorite places to get takeout from! We enjoy the coconut shrimp, spider roll, sashimi (salmon, tuna, mackerel), jalapeno roll, and spicy tuna.

My family and I have had dinner here for hibachi and it’s amazing. I enjoy how the chefs make things fun with volcanos and onion trains! My favorite food here is the chicken hibachi(which you can never go wrong with) and the shrimp tempura roll. The service here is amazing too, waitresses always ready to help even when it gets busy. Definitely somewhere I’d be returning too!

Stopped in for a quick roll and wine. The roll was delicious! Officially my second favorite sushi place in the city after that deliciousness.

INCREDIBLY aesthetic. Super nice staff- best fried rice i’ve had in ages! Never going anywhere else- this place is my new secret! (P.S.) They were very kind to my wheelchair bound meemaw and gave her proper accommodations. 10/10 WOULD reccomend.

A hidden gem in Powell. Great Japanese grill-style restaurant. Our Chef was very skilled and fun! Comparable prices to other similar restaurants. Go early to get right in.

This is by far our FAVORITE sushi place in Powell! The staff is so great and the sushi is always fresh. They're really good at making each roll unique to our taste. My husband won't eat the cucumbers and I'm super picky with what fish I'll actually eat. They are so accommodating. The hibachi tables are also fun to sit at and get a great cooking show🔥 We eat there or get takeout every week and the lunch bento boxes are my fave too!

Sunday hibachi lunch was awesome. Food was fantastic, the chef was entertaining, and the team was friendly. Definitely coming back with friends!
