Ixtapa Mexican Grill & Cantina

Great food and great prices. I had the Atlantic Burrito, and it was great. It was a little small, but given the price, it was definitely worth it. Someone else at my table had the shrimp fajitas and loved them. Also, the margarita was above average, and the sangria was very good.

Very good restaurant!!!! We have such a good time that I don't know where to start. Very cozy place, restrooms cleans, good parking, fair prices and super attentive waiters. The food was amazing, very good flavors and presentation. They were fast with our order, even that it was a party of 8. That chips and salsa omgggg!!!!! It was our wedding anniversary and sang the mañanitas for us. Overall I highly recommend this place

In town for a wedding, and The Ixtapa Burrito plate with pork was so good we came back a few days later and had it a second time before we left. Best salsa i have ever had at a mexican restaurant! Service was quick and very good, also! Can’t wait to be back in town for more.

The mango virgin daiquiris were delicious, food was all reasonably priced with excellent portion sizes and fantastic quality. The atmosphere was all soothing and appropriate with friendly waitstaff and lovely Hispanic music. Would definitely visit again.

Very tasty food and drinks, great service!

Went out for lunch with my boyfriend. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive. I got the chicken fajita chimichanga and it was DELICIOUS!!! Rice and beans were great too! I just wished I had ordered extra rice lol. For a quick, inexpensive, tasty meal, this is definitely the place to go! Since my boyfriend works close by, this will definitely not be the last time we choose to eat here!!! Thanks for a great lunchtime experience!

Boyfriend and I came here last night, we were originally looking for some Mexican food in Boston but wanted to escape the crowd on a Friday night. We decided to come here and man was it a great choice! Food was awesome, service was fast, and the drinks were great! Awesome job Ixtapa, our new favorite spot for some great mexican food and OUTSTANDING prices! We'll be back for sure!

Closest you'll get to real mexican food in the area and the only reason it's not colletely authentic is that they tone down the spicy for us gringos. You can probably ask them for more heat if that's your thing.

Good spot for a lunch or a casual dinner. My Atlantic burrito was great along with a virgin strawberry margarita. I will likely come back:)

My parents live by this restaurant and whenever I visit home, I always ask to go. Really good food and nice staff. It's a good price and they have large portions so I always end up taking some home.

There’s a note stating they are the best Mexican restaurant. I have to agree with them. Rice tasted like homemade. Tortilla were excellent. This is true the most authentic Mexican restaurant you can get in New England. I ordered a seafood soup omg I was expecting to be ok, it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely amazing food drinks and atmosphere

A friend of ours was coming up from Rhode Island and they wanted a good Mexican place and we knew exactly where to order from. The margs are always something to try and you can't go wrong with the combination plates. Don't forget to get the churros and dessert burrito for dessert!!

Besides the service (via Marco) being terrific and conscientious, the food is killer. The legitimacy of THIS Mexican food is such that the salsa served with the chips (which are made of tortillas fried in house) is Mexican salsa. This means its texture is thin, closer almost to gazpacho than the dense, usually spreadable, and definitely scoopable salsa that people buy in the United States. Know that when you're given a generous basket of chips.
