I had a very special sentimental lamp that needed to be fixed and I brought it to Rounds Hardware in Stoneham Ma and they told me that they could have it for me in a week or so. 4 days later, they called and told me that they couldn't reach the fixture with his fingers and they couldn't fix it, so I picked it up and brought it to Ace Hardware in Woburn. Right away they started to work on it , and within 2 hours, it was fixed. They only charged me for the light bulb and electric wire. You can't beat that! I highly recommend them!

This is a great store. Other than lumber they stock just about everything Home Depot has.

I was there yesterday just buying some galvanized screws for a few dollars. The man at the register was having trouble getting the part into the cash register. Instead of making me wait any longer he didn’t charge me for the screws.

That type of consideration and thoughtfulness is why I go there first before any other hardware store.

These folks are great, the staff are all woodworking folks with wide range of experience, I've found everyone who works here is able and helpful!

This is the only hardware store near my house and in a pinch, it's always had everything I needed! Friendly staff always willing to help out.

Before this, I had just come from a Home Depot...it was like I was in an episode of Walking Dead. They were NOT pleasant or helpful.

I highly recommend going here. I had broken a component of my outside water faucet and because it is so old there are no replacement pieces. The owner used his own hardware to fix it for me free of charge. This is just one example of their extraordinary customer service. The employees have always been kind and helpful. I go here whenever possible.

The staff here try their hardest to be helpful if you need them. If one of them doesn't know what you are looking for they don't say "no, we don't have that". I love them for this, because they are not afraid to defer to their colleagues who may be more knowledgeable. This is my go to for hard to find parts and fittings. They don't have everything, but it is always my first stop because I like the small business feel and they are close to home.

A typical hardware store. But a guy came over and asked if he could help, and he was very helpful. Also - they have Craftman tools. When they didn't have sandpaper fine enough for what I needed, he suggested a place I could try, which I really appreciated.

Had a key cut. Fast and efficient. Very polite. They helped Mom find a few items too. That "home town" personal service you rarely see these days.
