Bedford Plaza Hotel - Boston

Horrible manager at front desk. She said I had to leave because I was sick and asked an employee to take my credit card because I couldn't get to the desk. She fined this very nice woman $200. I had already been there for a month. Not anything to say about. Shady drug dealers out front. Only thing is undeground parking. No real breakfast.

BK was an angel! We were stranded in Boston and searched high and low and could find no free rooms anywhere. Booked this hotel over Priceline and when we arrived, found out the Priceline was overbooking everyone (also did it to our car rental) so there were actually no rooms available. He let us go sit in the lobby, brought us some refreshments while we searched for other accommodations. He took pity on our weary family and had the already tired housekeepers clean up an unclaimed room (thank you so much to them as well!) and honored our reservation. He made my husband fresh coffee and was just so sweet and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable enough. The hotel is past it's prime for sure but BK more than made up for it with kindness.

LOVED my stay at the Bedford Plaza Hotel!!! Great service. Front desk staff, Jenny, was kind & extremely helpful. The pool is lovely and there is a beautiful indoor balcony where you can look out & see the rest of the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, & you could not beat the price. Also, the area was very nice & quiet, which was exactly what my husband & I needed. There is a very clean and well staffed McDonald's right next door. Overall a great experience & I know where I will be staying next time I visit the Boston area :)

The guy in the reception was a sweetheart at all times. He said he only works there on the weekend. I can't remember his name... it starts with N. The staff that works during breakfast was very friendly as well, and the room was pretty good, I love that they have lots of mirrors throughout the hotel, and in the bathrooms they have a place for you to hang your wet clothes. I also loved that you can safely park your car in a garage in the basement. Even if it raining outside you won't get all wet to enter the hotel.
They have a beautiful pool, but I couldn't get in because the heating system wasn't working. Besides that one little thing, my overall experience was amazing. I ended up staying there the night after too. There werE many other hotels but we just liked this one so much and it's so well located that we came back to stay in it. And are going back there next month as well.

Room key didn't work. Got a replacement that did and opened the door to a room already occupied by others. Got a different room...OK, nothing special. Very limited breakfast and awful coffee. Pool was closed off. Place is long past its prime.

It was great. Service was great. Breakfast was so good. They had a selection of food for breakfast. Pool was clean and warm. Only down was pool was only 4 feet deep. But it also had older bathrooms. The shower worked great and everything just the way the bathroom looked. Not dirty just older. Would definitely come again.

Honestly, the outside is run down but inside is nice. Super cozy. Family friendly. Staff is nice. Underground parking, great temperature in the pool. Very clean. Heated and air conditioned rooms. No hot breakfast but the give bagels, muffins, danishes, boiled eggs etc.

Not going to beat in value; and if you or your kids are swimmers, this is the one. It is essentially a pool surrounded with rooms. Off-street parking (under hotel) was a nice touch; well-lit, felt safe, as a garage could be. Staff was exceptionally helpful, despite some minor computer checkin glitches. Would book again, no problem. Value is high here.

Great rooms, even better price. We stayed in two different rooms here so far, both very clean! The staff are friendly, and the pool is beautiful.

Glad to have found this gem, as I plan to return here any time I have business in Boston!

The last time i had been to Bedford Plaza hotel i had loved it, so as for my family vacation in Ma, we decided to go there. It had changed so much! better! My kids loved the pool. McDonald was a walking distance, there was a outlet nearby! There breakfast was warm and better than what i make at home! The staff made me feel at home and warm inside, and the rooms were beautifully decorated, and smelled like fresh trees! Though there were one kid crying because his mom wouldn't let him get a toy, that's not a problem of the hotel its a problem with one costumer!I will come back soon!

I have been here multiple times and I have to say that I’m so amazed and very happy with the service here at this hotel. have stayed here going on two days and the most welcoming front desk staff and the owner who had a sense of humor that had made me laugh and smile. I’m very pleased with the cleanliness and the comfortable beds clean white towels and most of clean room. I highly recommend this hotel if traveling through Bedford Massachusetts I will keep coming back to this hotel. The rates are not bad either!

Excellent two night stay. Garage parking. The room was very clean. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were great, from the manager to check-in to housekeeping. An enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. It definitely needs to be updated but I can’t complain. Water was nice and hot, staff was friendly, close to anything you might need. I’d stay here again.

A very unique, historic but elegantly updated hotel for families, quite getaways and business travelers alike. The entire hotel is very well maintained. This hotel has quickly become one of my fiance and I's favorite go to spots when he gets stationed at the Bedford V. A. located just minutes away. We have stayed in the king bed rooms along with the king suite and they are equally comfortable, clean, updated and quite spacious. It has a neat layout centered around the indoor swimming pool which is very clean. There is always fresh towels right at the swimming area and the surrounding floor is kept up and clean. Their complimentary breakfast consists of fresh coffee, multiple juices, a variety of fresh fruits, pastrys, yogurts, bagels, breads, and muffins along with a make your own Belgian waffle station not to mention the quaint breakfast seating area they have put together! Definitely one of our go to spots and wish there were more independently owned hotels like this around! Thank you for your hospitality Bedford Plaza Hotel and staff!

Great size rooms, small bathrooms but that's fine. Indoor pool which was great since it was in November I went. There's complimentary breakfast every morning with bagels cereal. Yougurt. Fruit and more I definatly recommend this place

Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. There's normally a good breakfast available, though that's been suspended due to the pandemic. Much better than other places in the area I've stayed at

I liked the atmosphere and the indoor pool was a plus. Also the indoor garage was nice but parking was tight because of the old matress storage. Breakfast could have been better. All in all we enjoyed our stay

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel somewhere between Boston and Concord, MA, and this was the best deal I found. I read reviews that the outside looked nothing like the Google Reviews images, but it was great inside, and that's true. The outside could use some sprucing, but there's convenient free garage parking, free breakfast, an indoor pool, fitness room, and the interior decor is clean and pleasing to the eye. The man at the front desk was friendly and quick with check in. I would not hesitate to stay here!
