European Manor

European Manor is a beautiful store with gracious gifts and special items for the home that looks and feels like a jewelry-box! Together, the merchandise feels curated, collected and like a real find - as everything everywhere else seems to be of a modern aesthetic. The merchandise is classic and elegant, but fresh and relevant – I want everything in it.

Most special of all, however, is the customer service, which is personal and friendly. The “vibe” in the store is light and relaxed: it always seems that someone is available to answer a question or provide information about a particular item exactly when needed, but still allows you to shop unbothered.

I recently visited the store to purchase an item I had seen several years ago and admired, but had not had a reason to purchase at the time. Unfortunately, by the time I had an occasion to buy it, Owner Laurie no longer carried the item, however – with a pointed and rare enthusiasm for simply wanting me to have the item I’d returned to her store for so many years later - Laurie tracked down the vendor, reached out to her personally, confirmed that she would be willing to custom-make the item for me again and squared away pricing, coordination, communication and even gift-wrapping! Sure, Laurie made a sale, but she likely could have done so by convincing me to purchase something else instead with a lot less effort on her part. Instead, I got exactly what I wanted and was so happy to be able to give the very special gift I’d intended. I really appreciated this level of customer service; this is a reason to shop small and shop in person!

Laurie is a fierce protector of her business and her store, and her commitment to the two of them and her customers shines brightly. It’s a pleasure to support her and her beautiful European Manor!
