Great Chinese restaurant open all days from 11-9 except sundays!
They are quick and food is great!

I just finished shopping at the Sequoia Station Safeway when I gave Chef Chen’s a call and placed an order at 8:40pm (they close at 9:00pm). I ordered Wor Won Ton Soup and Sauteed Prawns which the man on the phone said would be ready in 10 minutes. I was maybe a mile away and got there in 4 minutes and to my surprise the order was ready! Both dishes were excellent – the vegetables were fresh and crisp and overall excellent. I go there maybe 10 times a year and have never been disappointed. Chef Chen’s is my go to Chinese restaurant in Redwood City.

Craving for salt and pepper pork chop. Been ordering here for years now. They have the best s&p pork chop ever! And I eat everywhere. Not only that fried rice, chowmein are one of the best too. Flavorful and balance. Ordered online for delivery it came pipping hot since they deliver personally which is amazing. Good job chef chen!

I've been ordering from Chef Chen's for years and the quality of the food is always good. The portions are generous too. On occasion, I try other Chinese restaurants in the area because of suggestions, reviews, or observing lines out the door, but this place always beats them; hands down. Whenever I order in and friends or family are over, they like the food so much, they ask where I ordered. Tasty, fresh and satisfying.

This is my family's go to Chinese restaurant for the last like 7 years. They are always so nice, the food is always delicious, and they always get the order perfect. I really like this place and highly recommend!

I've been coming here since 2009. My go to is the honey walnut shrimp and Chinese chicken salad. Their food is better than restaurants that charge twice as much. My five-star rating is based strictly on the quality, taste and value of the food.

Chef Chen's is this hidden gem of a place. While it doesn't look like much, it's quite simply some of the best Cantonese I've ever had. Their tomato beef is amazing and their mango beef is delicious. Everything they serve is cooked well and has wonderful flavours.

Everything there is really good I had been trying to find a good hot n sour soup n theirs is really good I have got 3 diff people hooked on it that never had it before

This is our favorite Chinese food in Redwood City. Price is good, and food is excellent. Their won ton and war won ton soups are outstanding. Love my regulars... mu shu pork, pot stickers, general tso chicken... all very very good. And great service with great staff who seem to remember us every time we go pick up our dinner takeout.

I can understand if you haven't been here before and have an issue with their service . Here's the deal , get takeout , call in your order , and pick it up 15 minutes later . I have been going here for over 18 years . I usually order either hot and sour soup or war won ton soup with a rice dish and some veggies . Feeds my family of four . Whenever I feel a cold coming on , this is my go to for feeling better . I have had the other dishes and they are really good too , but it's so hard not to get the soup everytime because it's so good . Best Chinese in RWC , hands down ...

Nice small hidden gem in RWC! Have been frequently dining with them for the past 3 years and they've never skipped a beat. Great job to the team at Chef Chen's!!!

The food was great. We ordered Orange Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli and Chicken Wings and they were all really good. The service was fast and very friendly and safe.

Quick and tasty basic Chinese fare. We call in take out and it's always ready in 10-15min. The staff is very nice.
