I recently went to BCG for a cut and full foil highlight. Nicole was very welcoming and listened intently to what I wanted for my color and cut. The whole experience was great and I left a very happy customer. I will be returning and look forward to seeing Nicole again!

I reached out to Nicole after a tragic salon experience in which the red dye I wanted came out jet black. She was super helpful with advice on how to lighten the dye immediately, and got me scheduled for a corrective color with Amanda in just two days. Amanda was so great!!! She came in early for our appointment to work with my schedule, and was able to turn that jet black disaster into a gorgeous red with no problem at all! She was definitely more knowledgeable about color correction than any of the hairdressers I’ve seen before—they know what they’re doing! I could not be happier (and more relieved—I honestly could have cried). I will definitely be coming here next time I need to get my hair colored!!

I can't say enough, Nicole went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and openned her doors to let me get my wife a gift certificate. Nicole is the best and the Boston Color Group is know to be the best hair salon in Watertown so I just had to get my wife in for her little makeover!

i have, after fourteen years in massachusetts, finally found my hair place. first off, my communication with Nicole was easy, kind, and she was not only quick to reply, but let me know what to expect as far as timing goes as well as who specializes in vivid colors. secondly, i had the best experience with Amanda. she stayed true to everything she had said, and sometimes with curly hair, theres a plot twist. nope. not one. my hair was kept long, which in the past has not been the case. we discussed my inspiration pictures, she showed me color examples and i didn’t see my hair until it was done. i’ve never done a blind reveal, but i was super excited and knew seeing it dry and brightly colored would be fun - one. thousand percent. the salon is clean, the music is fun, i was treated so kindly. and having held off on doing a bright multicolor combination was well worth it.

The service and cut were top notch! Jaclyn cut my hair and FINALLY I got someone to give me that perfect bob hair cut (think Rosamund Pike in gone girl). She even cut and layered it in a way that was low maintenance for my lifestyle. The staff was respectful and engaging when conversing with clients young (like little kids), old, men, and, women, it was a lovely experience. I've just relocated to the area and was told this was a hidden gem, and Boston Color Group did not disappoint! LLOOOOVVVE!!

Been going here for a few years. Expert colorists and hair stylists. Really appreciate the attention to detail and they fixed my brassy red issues and have effectively helped neutralize the color so it’s cooler color which is perfect. Highly recommend this place as they know their color!!

I absolutely love Nicole. I came here 7 years ago after my hair had been overly bleached and she able to correct my hair color and texture. I ended up moving and couldn't see Nicole, and every where I went I had a terrible experience. I'm back now to seeing Nicole and I absolutely love my hair. Its healthy, love the color and cut. Plus she is just an amazing person which makes this a wonderful experience.

I had my hair cut, colored and blown out by Nicole and am very impressed! Nicole is so warm and knowledgeable, and took the time to understand what I wanted, and provided helpful advice about maintaining the color.

I was super happy to find my hairdresser had moved over here from another salon I used to go to. Jackie has been doing my hair for at least 3 years now and she does a great job. Plus she's fun to talk to. Nicole, the owner, is awesome as well!

I couldn't be happier with my experience at Boston Color Group! Previously I was getting my hair done in Boston but now that I am working from home full time, I needed a local spot (live in Watertown). With so many salons in the area it was hard to choose, but I hit the jackpot! Amanda cut my hair and gave me a full foil on my light brown hair. Best of all, her and Nicole consulted on the best color choice for my hair, and they ended up choosing a color with no bleach because my hair is light enough that I don't need it. I've never been handled with such precision in a salon and I am extremely appreciative of the experience. Extra plus, the salon is a fun and bubbly environment! I am 100% going back.

I’d happened upon the Salon almost 2 years ago by complete chance. Haven’t gone anywhere else since. So I’m about 18-24 hair cuts in at this point.

In short, in the day and age of Service & Customer Satisfaction ... Boston Color Group is an example to be admired.

I’ve found that each stylist is not just talented but also extremely well versed in their trade. As a result, each time I leave, I’m always leaving with another couple tips on how to make my hair essentially look better and better.

Come to find out the Owner, Nicole, has close to 3 decades of experience in the industry. That clearly explains a lot to why or how it runs so smoothly.

Lastly, aside from all the respectable qualities someone genuinely seeks in a salon... there are certain things you can’t teach and that are purely organic. I’m talking about the atmosphere. When I walk in, with out fail, the atmosphere is always a fresh blast of friendly, stress free, and salt of the earth people. From the stylists to the clientele it’s so well rounded and appreciated.

Keep doing exactly what you’re doing Boston Color Group! Other Salons should take notes.

Nicole is a genius! I’ve been getting one washed out color after another. Nicole did highlights, lowlights and roots and it has so much depth and richness the compliments just keep coming. I highly recommend this salon. I’m very fussy when it comes to my hair and Nicole delivered. Don’t be deterred by the fact it isn’t a bustling atmosphere. Nicole gives you virtually a private session so you are it!

Nicole is one of only a few current stylists that in my opinion gives a really good cut based on hair type/thickness. Very individualized service. Highly recommend!
