Well, My experience was pretty good thank to Dimosthenis! Or just Dimo, the way that I call him.
The guy is very professional. I was needing to move and find a good place that attend my necessity and at the same time that should be quick. And after so many waist of time with another brokers and another companies I found Dimo, that set up everything very quickly even that was between the holidays.
Everything good so far. No complains. Only Thank you Dimo!

Just renewed my lease. I have been renting with the company for 10 years in 2 different apartments. They do work well with you when you need something done, and are very helpful. Some times it can take a little longer, but they do have hundreds of units in the area that they tend to. But I've been pleased with the service here.

Had such an easy process with Dimosthenis Vazakas. He was so kind and very accomodating to me! Excited to begin my lease here.

I lived in Brighton Avenue apartment for one year and wanted to share my personal experience. Unlike many negative comments, here in the review section, I found the Hamilton Company team to be very professional. The team has been very responsive and I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the team. They kept everything very efficient and professional. I moved to a different place as I wanted to stay at more residential area. My experience with the Hamilton Company was especially favorable due to the property coordinator. Kia, who was the property coordinator at the time, was extremely helpful and responsive in addressing every concern I had throughout my stay. I may give four stars to my experience with the building but will give five stars to the management team.

My husband and I have lived at a Hamilton Company property for the past 8 months and have really enjoyed our experience, so much so that we just signed a lease for another year. Our building is in a great area (close to BU, Brookline, Brighton, and Fenway) and we are able to be right in the midst of the city, while also getting a little more space. We love how modern our apartment is and constantly get complimented on the wonderful views of the city skyline that we have from our living room. The maintenance staff and property staff are always extremely responsive and quick. The building has nice amenities such as a secure mail room, lots of laundry machines, and always working elevators. We're really looking forward to year 2 with the Hamilton Company and are glad we were able to get an affordable, yet still spacious apartment during the pandemic so we could have more space to live and work from home.

I worked for them doing building maintenance on Broad Street and State Street always helpful in getting things done.. Thanks to Dawn and Paul and many property’s management team you made our job less stressful..

I was only in my apartment for a year, but I had a great experience with the Hamilton Company. It was nice and easy to make payments online each month and they brought in brand new washing and drying machines. Any maintenance request I had was followed through quickly and they checked in to see if I was happy with it the next day. I was skeptical at first (as I am with all management companies), but in the end I had a good experience with them and I would recommend their management to anyone.

UPDATE 9/21/2022 to my review regarding the awful condition of the garbage/recycling area and what was being done to address it. I have removed my original review, because my points are no longer valid:
Hurray for Alyssa at Hamilton! In the past week physical and electronic notices were posted and sent to the entire building which made it quite clear that this situation needed improvement. Stiff fines for perpetrators of the mess were announced, and I am ever hopeful that the tenants will respond. I couldn't be happier with the response by management at this point!

I have had a very positive experience here as a graduate student. My apartment was spotless when I moved in, with new appliances. Nice outside landscaping. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with lots of fun restaurants. Maitenance, although only needed for small things, such as a lost laundry card was quick to respond. Geraldo is fantastic for maintenance. I have been happy so far. I think the company has been good to me giving me a fair price, nice environment to study and work in and out of. I would recommend it.

I’ve had a long history with the Hamilton company! Since 2011. While the rating here is low, I suspect that is due to the idiosyncrasies of so many different transplants to Boston. I moved to Boston in 2011, and while the Hamilton Company is not the Hilton, it is a great landlord that really does try to provide the best for its tenants including me. they have such a wide variety of properties too that could effect the rating. Some of their properties are very old. Some are modern luxury mid rises. I started in an old building on Cambridge street. The unit was affordable so I could deal with it for a year. I then moved to a much nicer modern building still affordable compared to other Boston prices! So for now 3/2020 - I would rate Hamilton Company 5 stars.

I wanted to leave a positive review because I feel completely opposite of the reviews below. I moved in Feb 1st, immediately Lucresha who seems to be the property manager was very attentive and patient even when I've been pushy on a few things in the building. I called her with a worry about something specifically in the building today and she was kind, attentive, understanding and she began to think of ways she can fix the issue. I love the building, it's so beautiful and the people here have been very nice coming in and out. Thank you to Lucresha for being attentive, kind and your excellent customer service.

I am super disappointed by these reviews here that are not fair, I believe! If you are new to Boston, I may understand but otherwise it does not make sense to me! I live in one of The Hamilton's condos located downtown Boston for over 2 years right now and I am super happy with my apartment.
Let me tell you the pros and cons frankly:

pros:

1-) I did not pay a realtor fee which is very rare in Boston. It was $2,400 back in then and if you divide it by 12, it means $200 discount on your monthly rent for the first year!
2-) My location is unbeatable, right in front the Boston Commons. and what I am paying for my very large 1-bd unit is a great good deal for Boston. I checked out another 1-bd apartment last August that is 1 minute away from mine. it was pretty much the same yet priced $1,900 more!
3-) There is 24 hour security in the next building. Whenever I need something, they help. It is the fact that there are some homeless people around downtown and they sometimes try to sneak in to the building. I call the security and they get them out!
4-) Lastly the management team! Everyone in the management office is super friendly. I have never had an issue with them. They are always helpful. I even met the manager Lucresha Ross. She is super nice and goes above and beyond when you need help!

I can keep going but let's get to the cons:

1-) Their Buildings may be 20-30 years old, especially the ones located downtown. But this is reflected in their pricing. There is a reason why their studios at 62 boyslton cost you around $2000-$2200/month whereas millenium place around the corner charges you $4900. It is all about what you can afford.

2-) Maintenance may be slow sometime. I am writing this review after I called the maintenance team a day before for my slowly draining bathtub. They could not show up in the same day and I am still happy to give them 5 star here because I understand that there are more than 300 units this office is managing in downtown and they cannot show up in 10 min. Even hotels cant do this.. P.S. I had a similar issue 6 months ago and that time they came in like 2 hours and fixed everything, even a small issue in the toilet that I did not complain for.

To sum up, yes, there are better buildings and superior services in Boston but not for this price. And I believe if this company charged the same as others- $1500- $2000 more for the same units, they could provide better management and maintenance services by hiring more staff members. I prefer to wait one extra day for a small issue in bathroom or 2 weeks for my online account to be set up than paying $1500 more on my rent.

I am a real estate professional who works with the Hamilton Company on a regular basis. They have nice apartments and maintain their properties well. Great landlord to work with!

I would like to leave a positive review and a special thank to the assistant property manager Kara Engengro. She is a very friendly person and is extremely fast in responding email questions ( normally within 10 mins). With her help, I decided a great apartment with very decent price . I highly recommend using this company!

Was staying at 1102 Boylston, the property was well situated with central heating/cooling which was the biggest plus. Trent was a huge help as he came to check on the property routinely and was extremely helpful and friendly, making sure all maintenance issues were resolved quickly.

I lived at MBH apartment at 1126 boylston street for almost 2 years now. I would like to take a moment and thank building super Trent for all the support during 2 years. He was super helpful with all the issues we faced and he not only solved our problems but he was very nice to us. Thank you Trent for making it a lovely experience over the 2 years.
