Cafe Mirror

This spot is what I imagine is a no nonsense cafe. They casually serve breakfast staples for an affordable price and they always please.

Edit: I’ve gone back a couple times now and wow always makes me happy. My new favorite thing to get is a BLT with added turkey!

My quick, no frills go-to breakfast place! Everyone that works there is always so kind. Their dishes and bakery items are straightforward and absolutely delicious. They have a great lunch menu as well. My mom loves their plain croissants and I love their coffee rolls! I love stopping by everyday for a quick break from the hustle and bustle. There's also a 15 minute parking spot right in front which is super convenient for takeout orders! Five star service deserves five star gratuities!

Came for breakfast early on Memorial Day so it was pretty empty. The space is a lot larger than I expected, and is perfect for a casual meal. The menu has all the essentials for breakfast.

I ordered French Toast with blueberries and a Thai Iced Tea. I probably wouldn't order the tea again as it tasted a bit sour, but I really enjoyed the French Toast.

The food came out relatively quickly and was fresh and tasty. I'd definitely come back to try out more of their menu!

Serving hearty, tasty breakfast without pretense. I was surprised to see Irish breakfast on the menu. I was not disappointed.
Coffee was as good as any at trendy, fancier places. Prices were very reasonalbe. Friendly prompt service. Parking was easier than expected.

Amazing spot! Very kind and genuine, laid back employees who seem to be enjoying themselves. Retro feel inside really takes me back to childhood breakfast joints with my family. The food was alright, certainly not amazing, but for the price it was 12/10 stars! I’m so glad this restaurant exists and I’ll be coming back.

This place has good donuts! They must be fresh made in the store because they are way better than dunkin or even some of those fancy donuts spots that have popped up recently. Bravo.

This cafe is the definition of amazing people and amazing food. They have my roommates and I’s orders memorized and always are so prompt with their service. Truly the definition of a small business that deserves attention and support from our community.

We really enjoyed our meal here! Standard diner fare with a good selection of pastries. We ordered a breakfast combo as well as a bagel with cream cheese plus a side of scrambled eggs. We got a HUGE glass of OJ for only $2! The restaurant was busy but our food came out pretty quickly and everything was tasty. My partner said the pancakes were a little dry but were overall still good. I was impressed by the quality of the bagels (since usually diner bagels are meh). A great inexpensive breakfast stop—I think we will return sometime soon!

Great place to have a breakfast. Combo#4 is the best choice and reasonably priced. I have also tasted many other foods and they are pretty delicious too. Have been there pretty often. People are really hospitable and polite. They greet you with a smile and ask about your day if you are a regular. The best part is, it opens at 5:30 a.m. The view from the restaurant of the ongoing traffic is amazing. Would come back again.

Great coffee and great food. And the people are so nice! I feel lucky having such a nice local breakfast place near me while all the chains and instagram one-and-done's are starting to take over.

A favorite of mine! Excellent variety of options, which was helpful for my partner who is vegetarian. The service is quick and polite, food is always fast and tasty. I am so glad to have found this gem after moving to Brighton, it’s quickly become a favorite spot. No-frills, homely space to have a filling breakfast.

This is our favorite local spot for breakfast sandwiches, only $5! Compared to places like Cafe Nation that charge $7.50 for the same thing, Cafe Mirror is the best!

Such wonderful people at this place. Recently I left my coffee thermos there. I came back almost a month later, and they had saved it for me, and recognized me when I came to return it to me. WOW. that's next level. Plus the eggs over with rye and hashbrown patties just keep me coming back.

Great food and great service, my go-to place for breakfast and lunch. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend any of the breakfast combos, the chicken salad on rye, and the Thai iced tea. Also the apple fritter which is the best apple fritter I've ever had. Love love love cafe mirror!

Cheap, tasty, friendly, homey vibe. Especially for the price, can’t ask for much more when the food is really good. Sometimes less is more and they really understand that here. Good stuff!

Best diner in Boston - cannot beat the prices or the service. Dying breed of classic no frills diner, I seriously love this place and it’s become an essential part of any good recovery weekend. Polar opposite of what’s become standard with over priced absurd brunch menus around the city, yuppies need not apply🙏🏻
