We sat immediately at the high tables in the bar area despite an hour wait for a regular table. We didn’t wait long for our meals and drinks were right away. Our bartender and waitress were attentive and very nice. The bruschetta appetizer was unique and delicious. My cod was perfect. The Victoria pasta hit the spot for my daughter as did the eggplant parmigiana. We saved room for dessert for ice cream down the street though. This was a wonderful stop on our way home from seeing the cherry blossoms at the DC Tidal Basin

We were seated immediately, which was great. We enjoyed the still water, soft drinks and a beer. We were a family of four!

My wife ordered the Minestrone Soup, but unfortunately it was lost in their amazing kitchen matrix.

So much food on the plate for entrees!! Completely scrumptious and we consumed it all, lol. My daughter didn’t enjoy her pasta dish, and we joked with our cool waiter, Mecca: “Mecca you can not pick or recommend any more pasta dishes for a 14-years-old picky eater!” LOL.

Mecca graced us with complimentary dessert and we chose the donuts and cannoli. So, so good.

We were visiting on business and we will absolutely return. I recommend this restaurant-the atmosphere is super quaint and the food lives up to the reviews. Thank you all, Mias!!

Visited Mia's for dinner on Sat. Dec. 16 and had the perfect dinner. The quality of the food was excellent, the serving sizes were as they should be, the atmosphere was superb and our service was excellent. We liked it so much we returned the following morning for brunch. I dare say....brunch was even better. We even asked for and got the same server (Elmer) as the evening before. Highly recommend this restaurant...you will not be disappointed.

I recently visited Mia’s Italian Kitchen in Alexandria, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! The Chicken Parmigiana stole the show, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The ambiance was intimate, creating the perfect setting for a cozy and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend Mia’s to anyone craving delicious Italian cuisine in a charming atmosphere.

The atmosphere is lovely. The food was amazing. The service was a little slow but the food made up for it. I highly recommend the pizza! The prices are what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Street parking can be hard to find but there are plenty of parking garages nearby.

Amazing! My fiancé and I had recently gone to Italy and we thought their food was really good here, even after being in Italy! We came with my whole family (8 of us) and the employees were super attentive and friendly. When it came to allergies they were super knowledgeable and double checked everything to make sure none of us would get sick, which I greatly appreciated as well as my sister. They have gluten free pizza (which is not dairy free) but have dairy free cheese so we did that to lessen the dairy we were eating. Since we asked for that, the waiter and manager double checked to make sure we were ok with the crust having dairy in it. I felt very safe eating here. And everything was super tasty, everyone enjoyed their meals! So happy we found this gem!!

I enjoyed their weekend bottomless brunch. The food was so delicious! I highly suggest you reserve ahead of time. I parked near the Torpedo Factory lot, but it can get pricey (about $22). There are other parking options.

Very good Italian and good service, got the Sundays Nonna’s gravy, meatball Benedict for an appetizer which were both good. Wife got the fig and prosciutto pizza which she also loved. If my Nonna’s house for Sunday dinner is 5 stars this is a close 4+

Great food at a fun location. On the weekends, they do an all you can eat option, which is a great way to sample different dishes.

Met up with some friends for a lady's night in Old Town and we decided to dine a Mia's. We had a reservation, so table availability was not a problem. I do suggest reservations because even on a Wednesday night, this restaurant is popular. The staff are friendly and helpful with any menu questions you may have. I ordered a blackberry mule and one of my friends ordered the sangria. Both were well received. We tried the zucchini fries, salad, and giant meatball. Everything was delicious. The giant meatball is exactly what you expect. It was so large, I had to take some of it home for later. I would definitely come back. Thanks for a great experience!

Very good Italian restaurant in the heart of Old Town. You can tell the food is made in house and is very enjoyable, especially the tiramisu. The staff is hard working and willing to give you their recommendations which definitely helped steer us in the right direction. While the space is well done and it’s somewhat cramped. Overall, we would recommend.

My fiance changed her mind last minute from sushi to Italian. So we took the trolley all the way down King Street and came to Mia's. Apparently we should of had a reservation on a Monday night, but we were invited to head to the bar or high tops as they served full menu and were first come first serve. We grabbed a seat at the bar and went to town on the menu.
We started with the pane al formaggio (garlic cheese bread), very good. A different take on the typical fare. Soft chewy bread with a plethora of cheese.
I ordered the diavola pizza, it was spicy and the honey was a wonderful touch. The crust was chewy, similar to the appetizer which didn't hide the texture of the peppers like a crunchy crust would have, well thought out recipe all around.
My fiance ordered the chicken parmesan. The rigatoni was slightly spicy, not near the diavola pizza, but just enough for good flavor. The chicken parmesan was nice and juicy with perfect amount of sauce and cheese on top. The chicken was also bigger than expected.

Despite all the food we had to try dessert since it was vacation.
The cannoli was sublime with the candied orange peel really setting it apart. Just decadent.
My fiance said the tiramisu cream was lighter than what she was used to and it was a good change, I'm not sure how we walked out of there being so full.
Next time we visit the East Coast we will definitely be back.

Great first time experience! Stopped by for happy hour, and they had such amazing deals so decided to give a few things a try. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and simply comforting. The meatball was juicy and stuffed with cheese! The pizza has the yummiest crust I've had in a while, and the chicken Parm sliders were also flavorful and well put together. Highly recommend, and will definitely be returning to try other items from their menu!

Made a reservation for Sunday brunch and it was splendid! Service was amazing, our server Elmer was the most helpful person I’ve met in a long time. My friends and I can’t consume wine and he went out of his way to explain every dish that would be suitable for us and also recommended to choose the A La Carte vs the bottomless option for our money’s worth! We tried the Burrata (very small portion size, sour/sweet flavor, disappointed), the apple cider donuts (warm and good balance of sweet/cinnamon flavor) and we ordered two different pizzas: the Margherita (original and very delicious) and the Mediterranean (garlic flavor was spectacular and the vegetables added a nice crunch). I had the gingernata as well and I was a little disappointed with the flavor. I didn’t get hints of ginger or blackberries, it really just tasted like a lemon soda. My friends ordered the seasonal blueberry lemonade and really enjoyed that. The restaurant had a nice ambiance too and food came in a reasonable time. I would definitely come again :)

If you think the Bottomless Brunch sounds good from the menu and social media photos its even BETTER in person. Excellent portions, no long wait, exceptional staff. I can't wait to go back!! Everything tasted so fresh!! I'll be coming back with more friends to share the experience with.

I went here on a date, and it was phenomenal for brunch! The food is prime, authentic Italian, and their summer sangria is the perfect cocktail that compliments anything you get off the menu. The service is prompt, attentive, and respectful! Please go, you won't be disappointed!

We dived in for a quick HH and some snacks to bite on. The cocktails were delicious and the food was amazing. We tried the cacio e pepe arancini balls - a must try and the Margherita pizza. Both were delicious and a great place to hang out and eat some good Italian food.

Fantastic experience. My husband and I got the Nonna’s pizza and Cacio e Pepe. The Nonna’s pizza was the very best pizza my husband and I have ever had. The taste was out of this world. The Cacio e Pepe was also extremely tasty. Great atmosphere and the service was quick and kind. Highly recommended. Vegetarian friendly.

I have been once for dinner and once for bottomless brunch. Both times the food was wonderful, the service was attentive and kind, and the prices were reasonable.
