A nice spot for a fun night out with friends or family. We were able to get our names on the waitlist and come in on a Saturday night after waiting only 20-30 minutes on the list. There is an incomprehensibly large game selection that offers anything one might want. There is plenty of space and the ambiance is relaxing.

Cozy board game cafe with friendly staff and great prices for games, food, and drinks! I love how there’s no time limit so every visit makes it worth it. They also offer a huge selection of games. Had a great time with my boyfriend when we first visited and we’ll for sure come back again.

This is an amazing cafe to spend time with a group of friends or your family. They also have a massive collection of board games to try out and the ambience is great too. You can also order food and drinks and I felt it was great. The staff was very kind and I would definitely love to visit again!

Really enjoyed this cool little joint in Brookline! Fun and cozy atmosphere with a surprising variety of items on the menu (drinks, sandwiches, milkshakes, snacky stuff). Had a great time with friends learning how to play a strategy game I’d never heard of before.

It's unique with a board game cate. I hosted my daughter's 13 years birthday party and everybody reported a good time. The staff helped me get a good table -- even on a busy Sunday -- and made excellent paninis and cappuccinos while I appropriately hit a few tables away (yes, it's that age).

So much fun!!! $15 entrance fee for weekends ($10 for weekdays) and you can stay here as long as you want - what a steal😎

Coolest place. The owner has over 1600 board games to try. 15$ a person to play as long as you want (open until 2am), great sandwiches and for a fee you can bring in outside food and drinks also. Small Uzbek restaurant next door!

Kaleb with a K is the man. He made the BEST banana smoothie I have had in Boston and he was so friendly as a server. He saved our group of fives game night. 5 stars. Will be coming back. He’s my guy.

My girlfriend and I went here at around 8PM on a Friday night. We called ahead expecting it to be busy, but the staff were nice and reserved one of the last few tables they had for us. The place was lively and a lot of fun! There is a lot of variety of board games to choose from, and no time pressure (you pay a one time game fee per person, so it's really reasonable). Overall, it was a great evening and we stayed for around 3-4 hours.

A very good place to go if you want to spent an evening with friends having fun. Knight Moves allows you to test a lot of boardgames for a fair price. I came here with five friends and enjoyed it very much. You can go around and get excited about all the games , discuss which you want to play and then play some. In the end you will probably keep ln playing one game , the best you played before.
I tell you , I had a great time here.

You can bring your own food for a small fee and stay as long as you want.

This place is a great place to spend the day playing some games. The game library is extensive, and the food and drinks on offer will keep your energy up. They have one player games as well, if you want to try some games alone or before anyone can join you at the cafe.

Loved coming here. The experience was great and they have a giant collection of board games! Everyone looked friendly and the selection of drinks and food was awesome.

Great place for a rainy (or any other) day! Sooo many games and a really cozy place, the employee was really nice and helped us find various games. The hot cocoa was amazing, and you can also bring in food from other restaurants - we left and came back and they had our table all reserved and everything. 10/10 would come again :)

Saw it for years but never checked it out. Since I parked next to it, I took a peak. It looks like a very fun place. The best way to describe it is coffee & games. The entrance looks small but there are plenty of tables in the back. They offer various kinds of drinks and some snacking options as far as I could tell. I certainly will check it out in more detail in the near future.

This place is super fun! They have a very large amount of games to choose from and the staff members are very helpful in providing help and recommendations if you need it. They also had good options for snacks and drinks that weren’t super expensive which was nice. Price to play for as long as you want is very reasonable and so was the cost to bring in outside food (if you wanted to). The vibe was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here if you love board games!

What a fantastic place!!! The atmosphere is awesome! The service is perfect and so many games to choose from! So fun and a MUST do for a great night with friends!

Hands down the best boardgame cafe I've ever been to. The food and drinks were amazing, the game selection was phenomenal, and it felt comfortable like your grandpa's favorite chair.

Great place to chill with friends and family. Really nice deal to let you bring own food and come in and out. Have wide assortment of games and most of the DLC’s (root 👀). Very fun time

This place rules! $15 to get in plus an extra $5 to BYOB and food. They have an excellent selection of any board and card games you could want. Such a great way to pass time with some friends and wine. Devin, the owner, is always super friendly and helpful with any rules or game recommendation. Make sure to grab a milkshake too! Only downside is that it gets super toasty and warm in there, so make sure to dress in layers so you can stay comfortable.
