The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy

This was the only pharmacy in town that had a certain type of gause I needed. They had 2 bottles in stock and had them ready for me. I'd been to 4 other pharmacies and called many more before The Medicine Shop save me!

From now on, just go here first. I know I will!

It's right across the street from the hospital on Watson if ya needed directions.

I absolutely love the father and son that run this establishment. I could not have better things to say about them! Every time I walk in and they greet me with a friendly welcome and always have my RX ready on time. More importantly, they remember my name and are very specific and have the most knowledge than any pharmacy I've ever been to!

I have been coming the this pharmacy for over 2 years and I have always been treated with the best service . The owner and all the staff are great and never have I had a bad visit. They have explained everything to me and always help in any way they can.

Personable and hardly much of a wait for a prescription to be filled
Walgreens, Publix and CVS are always behind. And for some reason Publix doesn't even inform you that the prescription is ready

Alex is great. All his employees are.
We switched to The Medicine Shoppe a couple of months ago. It was a huge switch.
My 85yr old mother in law has a lot of prescriptions and Alex with his crew take great care of her. Before we made the switch I had to make sure they would do blister packs. Its so much easier for my mil.
Alex gets them done.
I had to wait a little bit of time one day when I was in The Medicine Shoppe and watched people come in and out. My heart was touched to how Alex knows everybody that walks in. One older man came in and he had just buried his son a few days before and Alex as well as the lady (sorry don't remember her name) was so comforting to him as well his wife waiting out in the car. The lady walked him out and came back in to get the meds he was waiting on. She spent some time outside with the couple. That was so heartfelt and warming to see that these people aren't just customers. Alex isn't just a body standing up there to fill the prescriptions.
He will stop and take the time to speak with you about you and your concerns. It maybe something other than Medicine, he will give you his time.
If I could I would give them a million stars. I will tell anybody needing a prescription filled, Alex is the best.
His location is super convenient to my in laws in Smyrna.
To bad he's not closer to Dallas.

I was down this area and this place was recommended. The Pharmacists name is Alex and very patient, customer service oriented and down to earth. He is eager to explain things and really an wanting to help people (hard to find in 2023 sometimes). Nice quite waiting room area, easy parking (not 100 people coming in and out). I would go back if I lived in this area.

Love it, ❤ These days you don't find such as I did. My only child a surgery and
the service was perfect. Ladies know there job and will make sure that you have all you need and Pharmacist make sure that you have all the information

I have always had 5 star service at the Smyrna, Ga location. Alex the pharmacist at this location is not only friendly and very knowledgeable, but has exceeded my expectations on EVERY visit.As a woman of a certain age with a few “chronic health challenges”, I have lived long enough to have seen and experienced poor service and incompetency at most all of the larger chain pharmacies. It is already most certainly not a pleasant circumstance, to live with health challenges as it is. The last thing you want or need in this type of profession, is someone who lacks compassion. Just by nature of “big business”, it’s very hard to establish a repore with store professionals that constantly change. Alex has been around a long while and is such a caring pharmacist, that he is sadly almost a unicorn in this type of business. Wished I’d found him earlier in life.I’ve had a few challenges that I will call “corporate red tape glitches”, that Alex was able to use his wealth of knowledge and compassion, to rectify the situation. I cannot say enough positive things about this location ,as I have had many chances to experience pharmacies on the total other end of the spectrum, at most all of the larger chains. I guarantee that you will never be made to feel like just a number here. Small store with a supporting staff, that is just as kind hearted and professional. I have been hearing that The Vitamin Shoppes are experiencing some brick and mortar store closures, of which I believe The Medicine Shoppe is affiliated with. I hope and pray for the corporation to pull through it’s challenges and it will not effect TMS. I’d hate the idea of EVER having to be thrown back into abiss or “black hole” of the larger pharmacy experience, if a poor business decision is made, making this location vulnerable. Corporate, please realize what you have in Alex and staff, is not easily replicated. It is what a community pharmacy should actually look and feel like, filled with special people who actually care.If you are in the Atlanta or surrounding areas, give them a try. I guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.

I needed to purchase an Evenup device to balance my stride while wearing a walking boot. They are one of only 3 places in the state that carries them! When I called to see if they had my size they pulled one and placed on hold until I arrived, and even showed me how to use it and clean it! It is a small shop, but the staff is friendly, helpful, and shows a genuine concern for anyone who enters their doors.

I cannot talk this place up enough. I drive from downtown Atlanta, through traffic to get here. Alex and Sonya are knowledgeable, personable and discrete about your business, while actively informing you about the medications you've received. Old style family doctor levels of care. Truly great folks.

The staff at this pharmacy. Are very attentive. I was there for the first time and saw how they treat there clientele. The pharmacy comes form behind the counter and speak to the customers on one. It has been years since I saw a pharmacy like that. If they were closer to where I live I would only use them.

Had to have a formulated prescription filled no one had and was referred here. Service felt personable and directions were thoroughly explained.

Great pharmacy, they will go above and beyond and work with you to make sure their customers are taken care off. I cannot say enough of how great this hidden gem of off S. Cobb is.

The people at the pharmacy r so very thoughtful and concerning. The owner and all employees will help u with any medicine question u have. They go beyond more than any pharmacy I have ever used.

Pharmacists very knowledgeable and helpful, always willing to answer any and all questions. Very friendly and everyone working there always pleasant and fun to talk to.
