1st Yard Barbers

These guys at 1st yard barbers never cease to amaze me. I drive 40 miles every time to get there from where I live. Their professionalism is superb and the convenience of scheduling is the best.

I love everything about this place and I will highly recommend them to anybody.

If you want a top-of-the-line haircut, 1st yard barbers is the place to be.

This family owned barbershop is a great place to get the whole family’s haircut. It’s very easy to book online and each barber performs quality cuts so you can book appointments for your whole family. They also have a unique edge because they open at 6 AM so you can get a fresh cut before work! Mom, dad, and kids can all get their haircut. Highly recommended.

I'm so stoked I found this family-owned barbershop so close to where I recently moved! Everyone here was so kind and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. They did an amazing job with my hair, I haven't felt this good about it in a long time. these guys are all great, I have had everyone of them cut my overgrown and unruly hair on different occasions with great results. the place has a very friendly vibe i enjoy the banter with all the guys. good guys and great service its an easy decision. try em out.

I've found my new barer shop. They were able to get fit me in as a walk-in at noon on Saturday and got me a great cut. The folks are all very friendly and the whole shop has great vibes. Will definitely be coming back.

My first time at a barbershop, and what a great experience! This place was recommended by Studio 27. It's always a bit risky going to any new shop (especially as I'd never gotten a cut by a barber before and not many are skilled at female cuts), but Omar did a great job at getting the cut style that I wanted! Clean, professional, super friendly, and gave me tips on maintenance - I wouldn't expect less for 30 years of experience! Would definitely recommend! (Should've taken pics at the shop - hope the home photos give a sense of the style)

Absolutely amazing environment and even better haircut. I really lucked out that Omar was available for a walk in appointment. This was my first time here, and right away I was treated like a long time customer. Omar did an amazing job cutting my hair, all while having a really great conversation. Right away you can tell how much this family owned and operated business means to the staff, and I have the utmost respect for them. Without a doubt, you can bet on me coming back the next time I need a cut.

Very very clean shop. The barbers are friendly, respectful and patient. Always well presented, clean etc and staff always wear masks. Make you feel good when you walk into a barber shop that is spotless and all the staff themselves look ready to go too. Family owned. There is always good convo and laugh each time I am there. As for the cut, I couldn’t be happier. I was looking for a barber about 4 months ago and they were newly opened as of last year and had good reviews. I always see Shea but all the barbers are great. I go every 2 weeks and the fade is clean, even and spot on each time. As long as they are there, I will be there customer now. Also they have early morning hours as well before work. Give them a try.

Wow this place is a gem. A family business having a good time giving great haircuts. Segun (“Shay”) had time for me as a walk-in, which apparently is rare on Fridays and Saturdays.

I found 1st Yard on a Google search, I took both my boys, 6yr and 3.5yr old for the first time in September 2022. What a great experience! The barber shop is a family owned and run business. No matter who you see they are professional, but above all they were patient, kind and really friendly. I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. If you been looking for a place I highly recommend you try them!

These guys are awesome. Everyone is very friendly. Have had cuts from 3 of them and my son just started getting his cuts here, too. Every time has been a great experience with great results.

The staff ask the right questions and are mindful of your hair style. They serve folks from all backgrounds and cultures. Daquan and his family are pleasure to have a conversation with during my haircuts!

One of the great establishments of Watertown. Shea is an amazing person who brings positivity into his work. He listens attentively and asks questions along the way. Very respectful and overall a great barber and human being. He’s been running this business with his family and they’ve been doing an amazing job serving the community since the middle of the pandemic.

It was my first experience visiting a barbershop in the US. I found their place on Google Maps and hit the road. Though I hadn't booked an appointment, they welcomed me. Omar cut my hair and his job was just incredible. He is also very kind and friendly. I strongly recommend their business and having a haircut by Omar!

Great place! Went in early one morning and Omar hooked me up! Been looking everywhere in Watertown for a good barber, happy I finally found one!

I started going here in June after needing an emergency haircut before going to france(old barber canceled on my last second). The staff was very professional, and the place was very clean. Omar stayed late to cut my hair and and took his time to give me a excellent hair cut. I returned for the second time and got the same high quality service. I strongly recommend!
