Envie Espresso Bar & Cafe

Tried the espresso and coffee and was blown away. I purchased a mocha, which had the perfect blend of chocolate, cream, and espresso. The service, atmosphere, and location definitely added to this espresso bar. After ordering I looked at the menu and realized this place also serves lots of food options. So much to try and it’s back on my list for next time.

So happy to have stumbled upon this place. While visiting, we were on the hunt for a great cup of coffee and found it here! Absolutely delicious with many coffee options and tea. We were blown away by the food quality! Came here everyday for breakfast and coffee on our trip.

Quaint little chill coffee shop on Decatur street. This place has friendly affordable service and beautiful local art on the walls. If you want a hot breakfast that will fill you up and stick to your ribs, order the breakfast in a go cup! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits and gravy with some greens sprinkled on for some healthy color. It’s delish!! I go there at least once every time I come to Nola!! Enjoy one of their many coffee drinks too…there really is something for everybody!

I'm still mentioning Envie to people 2 weeks after leaving NOLA. Their coffee ranks in my top coffee shops ever and we've had lots of great coffee in our travels. I don't know what blend they use or what's in it, but the espresso drinks are absolutely amazing. It was almost like it had an herbal or flower aftertaste. We went back here twice. I wished they sold the beans, because I would have purchased several bags. The place definitely has a hipster vibe popular with locala, but for once, the coffee actually lives up to the hype.

Best cafe in The Quarter! I was visiting for the weekend and had breakfast and coffee here every morning. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely visit again! Not pictured is the omelet and biscuits and gravy I had the other days. I think the salmon was the best though, every bite was heaven!

This local breakfast spot is the perfect breakfast spot! We ended up here twice because our first experience was so amazing! I highly recommend the Biscuits and Gravy, Breakfast in a Cup, Shrimp and Grits as well as their baked goods. Everything in our group absolutely raved about everything on the menu, the King Cake Latte was everything I'd expected and more to warm up after a tour in freezing temperatures. Each day the staff was incredible! Add the fact that the building itself is over 300 years old, and a favorite among locals made for a perfect experience.

With tons of coffee shops in the French Quarter it is hard to stand out. Envie Expresso Bar has managed to do just that. One of the oldest and most popular with locals spots in the Quarter. The service is super friendly and quick. The coffee is strong and the place is kept neat and tidy. A fun place to stop.

I hate coffee. But she used to order an iced red-eye with soy and Splenda. I miss her. They have beer for me plus food and snacks. I've only had a couple pastries but all their food looks good. I could've sworn they were open 24hrs @ one point. Or at least I always remember them being open regardless the time of night walking back from Frenchman.

Our tour guide recommended us this spot for their great breakfast as well as for its great location and it didn't disappoint. It feels big and airy with plenty of options, you can have it as healthy or as cheesy as you want. Their jasmine tea cocktail was absolutely delicious, and their croissant breakfast sandwich was amazing. Friendly and efficient service, a great spot to combine brunch with people watching and a great ambiance.

A nice cafe inside French quarter area. It was decently packed. There were sittings both inside and outside. The ambiance was laid back and people were chilling. We got some coffee and a slice of chocolate pastry. the layered pastry with some chocolate ganache frosting was pretty decent. It’s big in size, so one slice can be easily shared by both. The coffee was great. I got an iced mocha. It was not too sweet. There was some foods available too, although I didn’t try.

Really friendly staff, nice feeling about the place. Great menu choices and fabulous coffee.
What's not to like

too full for breakfast, however best cinnamon roll I have ever had!

We found this little gem on our first morning here in New Orleans. We are on a different time zone and this place opens earlier than most around. The staff are so sweet and welcoming. And the food is very delicious. The carrot cake is Amazing! And our ten year old swears they have the best everything bagels and cream cheese. Their menu options are plentiful and delicious. We will be looking forward till we come down and eat here again.

Open late for the late evening coffee fix or a casual spot to hang out. Coffee is great. The most flavors I’ve seen at any coffee shop. Good tea selection. Nice selection of food offerings: bagels, pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast in cup. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Free wifi available. Dog friendly for outdoor seating.

Absolutely loved this cafe for breakfast! My mom got the almond milk hot chocolate and I got an oat milk latte with gingerbread syrup. We shared a BLT sandwich which was tasty.

Friendly staff and clean establishment!

Decided to get me my coffee fix here and so happy I did. The coffee was delicious and the food was even better! My order came out super quick and everyone there was helpful and friendly. There is plenty of spots to sit at, the food menu is a good size and the food was delicious and fresh.

Super chill cafe to have a resting moment and charge your phone while having a nice coffee in the french quarter of new Orleans, and the staff is really nice and friendly!

Cute little cafe/coffee shop. We just grabbed some lattes but the breakfast lines very good as well. I had a pistachio latte and it was so good.

It was worth the wait in the long line! On a visit to New Orleans, this cafe popped up in the list as one of the best breakfast places in the French Quarter. So of course we had to try it. The four of us each ordered a different meal on the menu. I ordered the Creole or Cajun Breakfast (I can’t remember the name). Everyone was happy with their choices!
