Absolutely incredible experience! We had killowhat electric quote over $1200. Volt electric came out super fast and did the same job for under $700. Very nice people, great communication. And they certainly knew how to install EV chargers efficiently! Plus they are very familiar with duke energy rebate for the charger installations. Thank you!

Tim and the whole team at Volt Electric are wonderful to work with. They are incredibly responsive to inquiries and quick to provide a clear, fair quote. I've had them come out on two separate occasions to install new light fixtures and outlet boxes in my new home, and each time was a great experience. The teams show up on time, are clear about what is needed, and get the work done quickly and well. Can't recommend Volt Electric enough!!!!

Volt electric was very quick to respond when a tree ripped the power out of our house. Jim worked hard to get everything repaired quickly, same day, so we could get the inspection and power restored! Very impressive with the quick response time and professionalism! Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a new Tesla and went to their website to find contractors in my area that could install a charging station before my car arrived. Tim at Volt Electric was by far the most responsive and professional of the companies that replied.

My installation area wasn't ideal - a carport in a condo development that had 0 previous charging station installs, but Tim was quick to come out for an estimate and assured me that the work could be done and at a fair price.

From the planning phases to the actual install, Tim and his team were very communicative and always gave me the sense of security that the job would be done correctly. I can thankfully say that they delivered on their promise. The team at Volt Electric - especially Tim - were a pleasure to do business with and I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work (especially Tesla charging installs). It's a relief to know that reliable, honest companies like Volt exist these days.

Working with everyone at Volt Electric was a really pleasant experience. I got an accurate estimate from Tim, and it was the best price out of three quotes. Then, very good clean work was performed by Willie and Charlie who showed up on time and were very efficient. The job (installing three outdoor ceiling fans, installing a couple of GFI outlets, switches, and outdoor lamps) was a complicated one and it was done quickly and well. I highly recommend this company.

We have had Volt out to our house twice so far. Electricians kept us updated with calls before arriving, were on time, very polite. One electrician, Ian, was SUPER. He was able to install a switch for a garbage disposal that flummoxed a previous electrician, as well as install fans in places that needed extra support for them, etc. A real problem solver and very nice, too. We really felt he worked hard to get us what we wanted. We will ask for him in the future. Because of Ian, five stars for Volt!

I love Volt! I have used them several times, and I recommend them to all of my friends. Yolanda is a joy to deal with on the phone, and Tim is always knowledgeable, helpful, and he and his crew are quick to install and fix all of my electrical needs.

Volt Electric was fantastic. Over the course of two days, they replaced our circuit breaker box, installed multiple outlets and lines throughout our kitchen, and throughly tested the system. When we found a faulty circuit a day later, they arrived first thing the next day to fix and retest everything.

Just as important, they were friendly and jovial, wore face masks when around us, and were professional and pleasant as they worked.

I'll absolutely be deferring to Volt next time we need more work done. Absolutely recommended.

We have been relying on Volt for five years now, since we returned to Asheville. Our first experience was when Tim, the owner, told us what to do over the phone, saving us the $$ for a service call. Since then our remodel has called for a number of extensive electrical projects, and Volt comes through with reliability, professionalism, and outstanding work every time. Most recently, we have been working with Justin. Not only did he take care of our immediate projects, but was able to respond to questions we had about new projects. He gave us outstanding advice on replacing our recessed lighting, and has figured out how to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom even though there are some logistical problems. That will be the next project and we will ask for Justin!

I have been using Volt for several years (after using another electrician who was not good and kept shocking himself!), and I am very pleased with their service. When you call for an appt., you are greeted by Yolanda, who is extremely nice and professional. She knows which electricians I have a preference for and will send them out in a timely manner. The price of service is VERY reasonable. I highly recommend Volt electric!

Justin and Mike were great to work with. They arrived promptly and worked efficiently. They were friendly and did good work. Price was also fair. We will definitely use Volt again.

They responded with ours, and had an electrician to my house the next day. Fernando fixed various problems with my 100+ year-old house, and added a new outlet. He was courteous, efficient, friendly, did the job just right, and cleaned-up after he was done! The price was vey fair, and I recommend this company very much!

Very good experience with this company. I highly recommend Volt Electric. Justin and Michael replaced knob and tube wiring in half the attic space of an older Asheville home, and installed several safety features such as a smoke detector and improved GFIs. They were fast, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable - I learned quite a lot of helpful and interesting facts about the electric service in my home that will inform all my decisions moving forward. One thing for sure - I will be going forward with Volt!

5 stars are just not enough for the personalized expertise that we've received from Volt Electric. Tim, the owner, came out personally to assess our project and showed us how we could accomplish it in the most time and cost-effective way, and Jim and his crew were professional and efficient in carrying out the plan. We are embarking upon another reno project soon and are going with Volt. They have well-earned our loyalty, for all of our electrical needs :)

This was just one more thing I had to get fixed after moving into a 2 year old house. I was so frustrated. I got the referral from a co-worker and Yolanda was so nice to me on the phone. I asked if they had any after hours appointments since I had left work so many times already for deliveries and repairs. She called me back promptly after checking with the owner and because of his personal schedule the next day, Saturday, he'd be in my area and happy to stop by. Tim was prompt, knowledgeable, and we had a few laughs. My electrical problem was fixed quickly and he even gave me some pointers. He cleaned up after himself and even helped put up my new shower curtain rod! Above and beyond! I will definitely use this company again.

I have been fortunate to have someone recommend Volt Electric. I have requested their service 3 times in the past 3 years, but always forgot to write a well deserved review. Most recently I needed their service for a failed house generator during the EXTREMELY cold weather. They responded quickly and got me up and running. If is wasn't for their quick response time, I probably would have taken my family to a hotel. Each time I used their service I dealt with people who were punctual, polite, answered all my questions, and impressed me with a great work ethic. Tim, the owner, offers a fair price for the work he performs. His wife, Yolanda, usually answers the phone. She is a pleasure to deal with, and answers all questions. If she is in doubt about something, she will have someone return your call to give you the correct information. I could offer more accolades but I think you get the gist of my review. It's just really nice to have peace of mind when you need a good electrician, with a good crew, on hand. And not worry about being ripped off.

We had some electrical work done recently by Fernando and Justin of Volt Electric and what a pleasant experience. First the two electricians knew exactly what they were doing which I did not and made suggestions to us that would save time and money. Let me say again they made suggestions that we did not think about that made the invoice less, that is a great company one that I will hire again.

In Asheville NC numerous times in 2017-2019 and they are always readily available and send an electrician promptly to service my issue and to solve my problem. Their employees are all expert, knowledgable and courteous. I have dealt with many electrical contractors since I built my home in Asheville and Volt Electric Co. is by far the Best and most reliable as well as reasonable in price. I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services and recommend them to others.
