This CVS location has a drive thru pharmacy. So convenient! I'm told that this CVS is the busiest in the south east. You might have to wait if you don't call your scripts in ahead of time.
They've taken great care regarding sanitation due to C19. They're completely handicap compliant.

My wife and I recently moved to Asheville, and began using the pharmacy at CVS on Smokey Park Highway. I generally don’t view a visit to a pharmacy as an especially pleasant experience,
but as the cliché goes, there is a first time for everything.  Indeed, merely describing my visit as "pleasurable" fails to do justice to the pharmacist, Jessica, and her team. Jessica is not only
eminently qualified and helpful, but she has created a culture of professionalism and excellence throughout the pharmacy which makes the customer feel valued. Pharmacies freely speak of
customer service, and this CVS delivers it! Stated succinctly, Jessica is a consummate professional, and her entire team emulates her exemplary example. I could continue with
superlatives, but far better to visit this pharmacy and experience customer service at its best.

As someone who has had 3 major surgeries in the last few years, multiple infections, and on consistent meds, I’ve had to fill a lot of prescriptions, been to a lot of pharmacies, gotten upset, gotten denied meds, and at this point I think I’m a pharmacy pro. From what I’ve observed, the people in the pharmacy seem to always be working hard and running around getting stuff filled. They helped me find a discount code when my insurance didn’t cover my meds and they cost $400 out of pocket. I like that when I call I get a person quickly when I’m checking on my meds. I moved here from California and did a lot of research choosing one in the area. I found that most pharmacies get bad ratings but I don’t think the ones given to this one are justified. With any pharmacy, people need to understand that you need to go at less busy times if you can and also know that sometimes you will need to come back again. Plan for that and don’t just sit around and complain. Also, the state and your insurance company have weird rules and it’s not the pharmacy. They would get fired if they don’t follow what they are supposed to. Unless this place is slammed, I’ve always had an above average experience. I’m grateful for everyone that works here and has helped me.

CVS is great. The prices are fair and the quality of the products are great.

Despite being one of the busiest pharmacies I've ever done business with I have to say that the service I have received here from their first day of business until now has been commendable, if not exemplary.

It's clear that the pharmacy is stretched thin and that turnover is high, however, with few exceptions over the years, the attitude, helpfulness and attentiveness of the pharmacy staff at large is always beyond my expectations, which are high.

The problem I have witnessed over the years can be traced, I believe, to overly demanding people who have no patience for contending with a business so busy. Prescriptions can rarely be completed in just a few minutes--because they are so busy. You have to wait a few minutes to speak with a pharmacist--because they are so busy. You might have to wait in line for a while--because they are so busy.

Because I understand how busy they are and, subsequently see the expressed anger of so many customers, I try to be cordial and understanding of these very busy people trying to do their jobs. I appreciate their efforts and I tell them that every time I visit.

This is a very busy place (Did I already say that?). If your expectation is to not have to wait and to have your prescriptions filled in just a couple of minutes then you will probably be best served by going to a lower-volume store or a different business altogether.

A little patience, tolerance and understanding goes really far.

I can report that I have had only a few problems with pharmacy to doctor communication. My experience is similar with the running out of the medication I need. But these things happen everywhere and are not unique to CVS and other pharmacies.

I have no complaints about the service I've received at this CVS location.

This is the absolute BEST CVS I have ever visited. And, I've visited a lot of them.

Firstly, everything that I need from A to Z, plus my prescriptions, is ALWAYS available, on-time, and ready.

The pharmacists, Angela, Jessica, and Natalie are three hot ladies, and very easy on the eyes (frankly speaking, I think they have a bit of a crush on me).

Next up, the fine women (pharmacy technicians) Ashley, Crystal, Christine, Marissa, and Carmen (who is definitely a silver-fox) are always nice to me.

One year, for my birthday, the pharmacy staff pooled their money and bought me a brand new car (an Alfa Romeo Giulia) and paid for an all expenses paid vacation in the Maldives for me and my friend Jackson.

Also, I have sent visiting friends from overseas for various sundries there and they have always been treated graciously. In particular, my close friends, Sum Ting Wong and Abdul al-Islam, from South Korea and Pakistan respectively, have always had a positive experience.

I really can't say enough. Just visit and see for yourself.

Everyone's always been nice to me and always been helpful. Pharmacy or Store clerks, no issues here. Always answer the phone for me and if they are busy, they say so and ask me to hold. Only issues I ever come into is not knowing when I am out of a refill and need approval for another. They obtain approval for me and that is very convenient. It's a pharmacy, not the Ritz. Reading these reviews just shows lots of ungrateful and angry people, but maybe it is their meds talking. I appreciate this Pharmacy. I don't like when I can't find the Hi-ball energy I like.

The staff here are wonderful! They are super friendly courteous and professional! Fully stocked and clean and organized, my go to wander at midnight store. One of the few 24 hour location including the pharmacy, they also just received all new kodak kiosk for all your photo processing needs!

So I left the New Leicester location because they would always say a RX would be ready at a certain time, and I would get there and they wouldn't have started filling it yet. This was even the case when I would call day(s) in advance. So I started going to the Smokey Park location and everything has been perfect. Very courteous staff and everything is always ready on time (if not sooner).

Seaira that works in the pharmacy truly helped me out! I couldn’t find our two month old the formula she needed anywhere and she found it for us!!! Such a blessing highly recommend this pharmacy!

My experience was great…all the associates I encountered were super friendly and helpful. Checkout was easy at the self checkout.

Left hospital and home was an hour away. It was so nice to have a friendly CVS open they for hours and my script was filled in fifteen minutes. And one script was a narcotic

They sale you everything you need. Trouble is they don't stay open long enough. They do have just about everything you need.

The pharmacy was closing. I just got out of the hospital and needed a pill to control my blood pressure. They were very kind and filled my prescription. I am so grateful!!

Quick, efficient, and used my extra care card and got $2.00 off my order.

There are no marshmallows at any store so when I had no hope I called cvs and they said “ thee is only one bag left but we can hold it for you sir” and once I got there I Finally got my marshmallows thank u cvs

I have used CVS at Smokey park for years and they are most times extremely efficient. Sometimes they training people and things get messed up but they always fix it.

Well organized store and basically curbside parking plus a drive thru pharmacy. Shop here often!

Love this store! Much better than buying drugs off the streets! The customer service is lovely !

I love this location. Open 24/7 and they are so friendly. Props to all who are involved here.
