Tonya is amazing and she truly is a hair magician. I have kinda always hated my hair, it's fine/thin and I just never know what to do with it. I didn't have a great idea of what I wanted but I told tonya some issues I have had in the past other times I have had it cut elsewhere and she knew exactly what to do with my hair type. It feels fuller than it ever has after getting a new cut. I usually have anxiety related to getting my hair cut but she made me feel so at ease and even explained my hair type and things I should be doing to it, in more detail than anyone ever has. I will definitely be back

Tonya is incredible and has such a great eye! I showed her a pic of something but let her have free rein and she did not disappoint. I desperately needed different shaping to my short androgynous haircut and Tonya knew exactly what it needed and gave me a new style that I am in love with! I won’t go to anyone else now!

I recently had my hair cut and styled by Tonya. I went in without a clue as to what I wanted and I told Tonya I trusted her expert opinion. She had a vision and went with it. This was my first visit to the salon and I have found a permanent hairstylist! I went in with little self esteem, and I left feeling like a new woman. Tonya is a very kind and personable stylist. I am so thankful and I highly recommend this salon.

Tonya gave me one of the best haircuts of my life today. I have short, curly, unruly hair. If you have curly hair, Tonya is a must!

Adrienne always nails it.
If you want only a half inch off, that is what you get. She is consistent and remembers how I like my cut.
She is truly an artist!
I also very much appreciate the option of a dry cut at a very reasonable price.
I am always seen as soon as I arrive.

I've been having Adrienne do a dry cut for my curly hair for a while now. It always looks great, and it's quick (I love being able to come in over my lunch break) and affordable.
It's always been a hit or miss, in the past, getting my haircut on how it actually will look when it drys naturally. But Adrienne suggested doing the dry cut, and I love that I know it will look just as good everyday as it does leaving the salon!

I have incredibly thick and textured hair (like, it takes up the whole sink when they wash it) and Anne Gellen did an amazing job. She knows how to handle very curly hair and I will definitely be returning. Great price too compared to curly cuts at other salons. 10/10

My whole family goes there. My 18yo who is picky about his hair (as most teen boys) was really happy as are my 8 and 9yo and my husband. Went for the first time myself today, and this is the best I have seen my hair in years. Definitely will be going here regularly. Thanks, Anne!

Well I'll be damned, Tonya did amazing again. Tonya has always been a wizard w/ scissors, but this time, I added something extra fun for her to fix.... a terrible dye job and crunchy hairs from a quick-pick hairdresser. I didn't have much hope, but I knew it would at least look BETTER, but woaaaah, she turned this out! It's beautiful, the color will grow out nicely, and it feels so soft. Don't talk to me; I'm a new b*tch.

I got a great cut from Tonya. She listened and interpreted my wishes to suit my hair.

Tonya was fantastic. Cheerful, attentive and kind. (I have a sensitive scar from brain surgery and she was very easy going around it). She listened and cut my hair great! Everyone in the shop had a smile on their face and it was a most pleasant experience. I've found my go to hair salon!!

Absolutely LOVED my balayage and cute bob haircut from Adrienne. The price was fantastic and she didn't add on the price listed on the website after she realized it was more of a color correction. (I had been doing some quarantine coloring :). Knew what she was doing and got it done. Nice conversation but not having to talk to the whole time (yay). I will definitely come back here again.

So happy with the haircut I got by Adrienne today. I hadn't had a haircut for about 6 months and ready to lose a few inches of hair. We talked about existing style and what I was looking for and looked at a couple of pictures and then Adrienne went to work. Best haircut I have had in a long time. It is easy, casual, and low maintenance which was what I was looking for. But still looks cute and has wonderful texture to it. I will be going back for sure!

Anne cut and styled my hair today with the skill of a master ninja - salon edition. I'm sure she's outstanding with the ladies, and I couldn't give a higher recommendation for all the dudes out there needing someone skilled in the arts of hairstyling. 5 stars - I'll be back! :)

This is a really cool spot to get a haircut in West Asheville. Adrienne was very laid back, affordable and a pleasure to chat with today. I will definitely be back in the future. Thanks!

I'm a big fan! Tonya is fantastic, and has earned my trust and business as a regular customer. My business is just down the street from theirs, but it's not about the convenience for me, I used to go to a place across town. What I like best is that, well, they take time with me. The place I went to before I was in and out in 15 minutes, which is fine if you're in a hurry, but for me a haircut is almost like a massage. It's an experience and I like the pampering. This is my spot now, and I recommend making it yours too.

FINALLY! I found a stylist that can deliver. In short: Adrienne is AWESOME. I made an appointment on a whim and boom, less than 24 hours later I found myself sitting in a chair at Union Hill Salon, completely satisfied with my new haircut and super excited to show it off. I showed Adrienne one picture of what I had in mind (a layered bob that I can perfect the "bedhead" look with just like all of the Jennifer Lawrence photos I see cropping up on Pinterest), and she completely nailed it. THANK YOU, ADRIENNE! You are magical. I'll definitely be sending all of my friends and family to you from now on! :)

Jennifer Murray cut my hair and she was awesome. I've searched high and low for a decent stylist in Asheville. I've lived in many different areas of the country but finding a good stylist in Asheville has been almost impossible- at least until I met Jennifer. She was professional and personable. I highly recommend.
