If I lived in Ashville I would literally Live HERE!! Desk Attendant Bridget was Wonderful, Informative and such a charming pleasant person as she filled us in on all the YMCA amenities - which was an included courtesy when staying at the Biltmore Hilton! Young son appreciated the facility and was able to climb 'The Wall' and ring the bell at the TOP!!

An absolutely beautiful setting for a YMCA. Surrounded by trees and set in an outside walking area with retail stores. The facilities inside are expansive, updated, and well maintained. The staff is engaging, friendly, and helpful, which is always comforting! Dance class on Mondays with Natalie is one of the most fun activities I’ve ever been to. She’s so talented and so much fun! Don’t miss this YMCA location or Natalie’s dance class.

I go to the YMCA Reuter location regularly, and it's become my go-to spot for fitness and family fun. The variety of open classes and activities is impressive – from yoga to swimming lessons, there's something for everyone. What really stands out is the welcoming atmosphere created by the friendly and attentive staff. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels included and supported in their fitness journey.One of the highlights for me as a parent is the kid care services they offer. It's such a relief to know that my children are in good hands while I focus on my workout. The staff in the kid care area are fantastic with the kids, engaging them in fun activities and keeping them entertained.Overall, the YMCA Reuter location excels in creating a family-friendly environment where everyone can thrive. Whether you're looking to break a sweat, learn a new skill, or just spend quality time together as a family, this place has it all. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a welcoming and inclusive community to support their fitness goals.

I was nervous about going back to a gym after becoming unfit! The staff was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. I was also impressed by the numerous workout areas, equipment, pool and locker rooms! They also have a great mobile app!

Staff are very friendly, gym seems clean and everyone is very respectful of everyone else. My daughter loves the daycare staff and they treat her so well.

I love this gym. It feels like a community that I enjoy sharing my family with. The child care team is great with my 6 month old son. I always feel safe leaving him with them while i work out and have me time.

Everything is their style and treatment. Their services are the most important thing. Their cleanliness is 100% very excellent. Their activities are wonderful for adults and children.

This, in my opinion, is the best YMCA in western North Carolina! It has everything you could need plus smiling faces when you check in or leave. The staff is wonderful and the facility (other than the locker rooms) are always clean!
The hot tub, sauna, and pool are the best way to finish my workouts!

Great gym for the whole family. It’s clean, well equipped, super friendly staff, and offers childcare. We love it here!

My daughter took the level 4 swim lessons with instructor Leah, who was excellent. I would highly recommend swim lessons at the Y. They are affordable, good facility, and excellent instructor. I wish the Y could offer more swim lesson days/times as the classes get filled up quickly and there are long wait lists.

Brandon Whiteside and staff are FANTASTIC to work with. We have played 4 seasons of flag football now and couldn't be happier! Kudos to Brandon and staff for another successful Spring season! See u in the fall!

The Reuter Y has the best instructor’s. They enjoy what they are doing and convey that thought to their classes. Recently, the EGYM has been added to the Reuter Y which is marvelous. I’ve been told by doctor’s that exercise and healthy eating habits (most of the time) have kept disease at bay. So I am telling other people as they may be in the same boat. So you if you’re interested in a cheery, happy place to exercisie, this is the place to go.

I love the hot tub and steam room. I enjoy using the smaller, more private, work out room. The staff are friendly and the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging.

I went to a Red Cross Blood donation today at Reuter YMCA. Easy parking easy donation, great snacks and drinks.
Please take the time to make an appointment. This makes donating quick and esay.

Water temp is maintained to close tolerances throughout the year. Lanes are generally open with no or very short waits.

Love this Y! Maria in customer service and the folks there are awesome. They took great care of us getting our family membership started and I can't say enough about how clean and nice the facilities are. Been going to the 'Y's' here since I was a kid and this is one of the best if not the best one in the area. Has a great layout so even when it's busy and peak; it does not feel that way. Check 'em out!!!

Best YMCA location in WNC. Something for everyone and they don't close the pool area early like other locations. This Y should be the standard for all YMCAs. Will pass others to go to this one. Thank you for this excellent location.

Love the front desk staff, the friendly coaches, and the atmosphere. My teen loves it too and is safe there. She can go and workout without me having to be there with her the whole time. She can go and workout with her friends. It's really great. It's also a beautiful gym, nice and spacious. The price wasn't bad either.

Ymca is here to save the day. Such an amazing investment for a family of four. Starting the year right with this membership. 7 locations to choose from, amazing classes to motivate you. Highly recommended

this y is the best!!!!! the employees are kind&helpful, the gym floor is organized and filled with great machines/weight options and the locker rooms are clean. oh and also, complimentary coffee in the mornings. so sweet. very grateful for this facility.
