Chase Hill Apartments

This is the most honest review I can give especially coming from sombody whos never really had a apartment before but Upon moving here I read the reviews and to be honest I was scared away but something made me go give it a chance anyways and I will say I was blown away from the sincere staff to the beautiful apartments!!! I would have been a fool to pass on this place. The staff cared about my situation which is rare and they never lied to me once!!!! I will never speak badly of this place my apartment is amazing and I really love my apartment and I love the people I'm surrounded by it's been a great experience so far thank you God

Went in for a tour of a one bedroom. Jessica was very professional and knowledgeable about her property. She was very kind and made me feel right at home when I entered her office. The property is beautiful and I hope to be moving in soon.

I'm going on my second year at this complex, and couldn't be more pleased with management, staff and maintenance. They have always been very quick to respond to my questions and/or concerns and management bent over backward to make things right over a situation that could have gone really, really wrong. Maintenance actually came and worked in the poring rain one day to fix a problem I had reported outside of my apartment. The truth is, these apartments aren't that pretty, and there are definitely things I would change if I could, but overall this place is great. Sometimes we have to come to grips with where we are, and what our true expectations should be.

We just recently moved in, but Michelle and Mary have made the process seamless. They are very professional and personable. We appreciate all their hard work and dedication.

The staff here at Chase Hill have been extremally helpful and understanding with all my needs for my move. The property is breath taking I can't wait for the property to be finished. I am so glad I chose this to be my home.

Maintenance team is stellar. Always trying to make the complex better than it is. New laundry room looks great!!

Staff here is awesome. I had an issue with my AC unit and they came that same day and fixed it.

Great complex! No complaints whatsoever!

This place is pretty quiet! The location is in a great area. Michelle in the office is who helped me and she has been wonderful! There were some issues upon move in with some light fixtures and we did have to get exterminated, however she has done everything immediately and has been wonderful so far. The rent cost is good for the units in my opinion. The buildings are older and that leaves room for more maintenance issues and they are short-staffed currently, but they still are jumping on problems as they arise and as fast as possible. This is a great place for younger-renters, such as myself. Overall so far has been pretty good! Also, just want to point out that bad reviews are usually the only reviews posted so I’m leaving this for people who want some honesty. Nowhere is perfect!

We moved in about a month ago and have no complaints so far. Yes these apartments are older, however we knew that moving in and they are in the process of updating them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Alexandria has been our go too in the front office and she is great. Upon moving in we needed our toilet looked at and the kitchen counter fixed which I let her know and a couple of days later both were fixed. Yes it is kind of a pain having to take our clothes to get laundered, but again we knew we were moving into older apartments that did didn’t offer laundry appliances in the units. My fiance travels a lot for work and I always feel safe being in our apartment alone. It seems like most of the people that live there are students and families which is nice. Constantly little kids running around playing which is nice because obviously it is a safe environment. This isn’t our forever home and like I said we just moved in a month ago so maybe our thoughts might change, but for right now this is a nice little place to call home!

I lived here 7 years through college. Many of the issues were fixed when new management took over a few years ago. The electricity actually stays on, the water works, it's hot, things are renovated, the parking lot is functional, the washing machines actually work, etc. Overall it's pretty good. Maintenance is the absolute best you will ever find anywhere. Pools are clean and nice. Staff is friendly-ish, polite at least, but very stern.

The exterior has not been renovated. Regretfully, I have mold poisoning. I'm told there's no chance of a full recovery but that I can improve my way of life by reducing pollution, getting better posture, and seeing a doctor of osteopathic manipulation to help my nervous system perform better. If you live here, don't spend all your time studying on the porch, or caring for a garden. Don't sleep with the windows open. Heads up, the front office absolutely stinks of fragrance so I can only assume they must be hiding the smell.

You must pay on time or prior, period, no leniency even if the fault lies elsewhere. Mail is always stolen - pay your bills online, and so is washing machine pay so don't expect outside valuables to survive. They can't help that, it's a theft ring, and the police have been on it for years. Jailing one doesn't solve the issue. Other than that it's mostly safe; much more safe than across the road.

They had me pay for some damage so I didn't get my security deposit back but I wasn't scammed into paying for any renovations or issues and they even helped me out financially due to the mold; I hear they renovated my apt. They're good and fair at least. All in all, it wasn't a bad place to live, if only I had known something about mold. I started out paying $454 and left paying over $700 for a studio so you can tell I was there quite some time lol.

Legitimate, current resident here. I first signed on with chase hill for a one year contract and later renewed for a longer lease, which I am still enjoying now. So far my overall experience has been a positive one, here's a list of the top three attributes I appreciate, as well as the top three characteristics that I think need improvement:
Pros:
1. Very respectful staff. I've conversed with them on many occasions over a variety of topics, and they've never said anything that made me question their professionalism or dedication to running a smooth operation.
2. Prices for the location are not bad at all. I'd encourage friends to room up with each other, you'll probably save some cash.
3. Chase Hill is not student housing. This is a plus to anyone who values their privacy. Student housing complexes tend to be much more invasive than "regular" apartment complexes (Also makes prices cheaper).
Cons:
1. The buildings are aging. It's just a simple, sad fact. The units are plenty comfortable on the inside, but to someone who values the highest in aesthetics might find it something to gripe about. This includes appliances as well. However if something doesn't work, getting it fixed/replaced is usually as simple as filling out a work order.
2. Plumbing seems to occasionally be on the fritz (building specific). In my years at Chase Hill, I have received notification of water being shut off for maintenance or repairs 2-3 times (each incident lasting a few hours). While this has yet to inconvenience me, others may have been affected in an unfortunate manner.
3. Washing centers. Hate 'em, though the machines work. Enough said.

To sum it up nicely for any college-intro or post-graduate folks out there, Chase Hill is a pretty chill place. If you're looking for a quieter complex, and can do without the amenities that student housing tries so hard to market (Huge computer lab, fountain in pool, arcade machines and pool tables, etc), stop by and have a chat with someone in the office. It's a solid complex.
