Half Price Books

I really enjoyed myself here at the location, one of the best stores in San Antonio. I say this because the comic book selection is better here than another one I went to. In my visit, there was a signed copy on a book, and I think I caught a huge win too.

I always find something worth taking home when I visit this particular Half Price Books, so I'd say it's probably my favorite one in the city. I love how spacious each aisle and area is. Even on a busier day like the weekend there's plenty of room to move around. Not only do they have an excellent selection of books, but they also have a bunch of journals, a small choice of new board games, used board games, blu-rays and video games, and lots of CDs and vinyl records. They also randomly have brand new items randomly throughout the store like various types of books, tarot, calendars, coloring books, etc. Everyone who works here is friendly and unobtrusive.

I had come to this location to see what they had. As every location have different stuff all the time. There is an enormous number of books, cds, dvds, comics, records, collectibles, and more to choose from. The employees were friendly and nice. As well the store was clean too.

Large selection of books, fun to browse and find something new to read. They might not have a specific title you are looking for, but you are bound to find something of interest. They don’t pay a whole lot when selling your books, but at least it’s a place to drop them off and make a few dollars.

I always love visiting this HPB. Larger sections than some of the others, wide variety of selections, super friendly staff, & just an overall wonderful place to visit when you want some calm. Highly recommended for solo visits or with the family.

This Half Price Books is a great store to get gifts, games, oddities, and books. This store had a nice selection of kitchen books, gardening books, and board games. It's also nice to see inventory online. Great customer service always.
We came today to sell, 10-16-2020, but buy back is limited to 12-5 daily except Thursday.

Any place with books is going to be high on my go to list! Half Price books was clean, neat, friendly staff and a great and vast selection. Purchased two books and will be returning soon for more!

The kiddos love going here to look around and find all kinds of books. The staff is always attentive and very helpful. They always have a great selection from random stuff that's hard to find to books that just came out. Prices are all pretty good too!

Such a great experience - staff is helpful and obviously like books themselves - which is so beneficial! Wonderful combo of recycling, information exchange and thrift all rolled into one great store!!

Just came in to check out what they had, ended up leaving with 2 books, but definitely found more I would have liked to purchase, but I'm on a budget! Staff were all super nice and friendly, very conversationalist and easily provided information to some questions I had. A+++ Will be returning to this location! ♡☆♡☆♡☆
