During this time of tragedy I Wanted to give many thanks to Jose Moreno and staff for making funeral arrangements flow smoothly. Jose is very polite, patient and professional at the same time easy to talk and work with. I strongly recommend this funeral home. Affordable compared to other places. This is the second time I use them. Down side.. please know the funeral home you will be sending love one to once they have passed. Because you will have to pay a price for transferring from one funeral to another. Bottom line. I was very pleased with Thomason Funeral Home. Thank you!

Thomason Funeral Home is a highly respected business within the local law enforcement community. I have personally worked along side with Mr. and Mrs. Thomason when assisting with funeral escorts for their clients loved ones and also for attending the funeral services we have had for our fellow officers that we have lost. Mr. and Mrs. Thomason are one of the most trusted, genuine and caring people that always go above and beyond to take care of each and every one of their clients and their loved ones. Overall, the Thomason Funeral Home staff demonstrates the balance of professionalism with compassion.

When my husband passed at home from cancer, the staff who picked him up draped a flag over him on the way out (he was a Navy veteran). Mr. Thomason was so kind in helping me through the death certificate paperwork. The chapel was a very nice place for his services. There is a tv to display a slideshow, hooks for hanging up photos, and a sound system to bring your own music. They contacted the military for me, and honor guard came to perform the flag folding presentation during the ceremony. Everything went very smoothly. I could not have asked for more during a difficult time. Thank you.

They gave my uncle a beautiful funeral

After hearing their ridiculous pricing for cremation, (over 3 times more than other funeral homes), I told the person helping me that I would be moving my father to another facility and that they would be picking him up shortly. The ONLY thing that had been done up to that point was Thomason picked up my father from the hospital, 22 miles away.
After I said this, I was told they would not release my father’s remains unless I paid them $600 for the 22 mile trip they made to pick him up. That is a bit over $27 a mile!
I had to leave to get cash and when I returned the receptionist told me to go ahead to the back to pay the representative. As I walked in he was in the back room telling everyone back there I wanted to go “the cheap route” and had gone to get the cash to release the body. I loudly said I was back and heard what he had just said. He ignored it, took my $600 and wrote me a receipt. I told him I wondered how they all slept at night after doing this to grieving families. He ignored that as well.
Save yourself a headache and a heartache and go ANYWHERE else. Absolute worst experience during a terrible time.

They took advantage of us. The county called this place to pick up our loved one. They charged us more for transportation and storage than a place down the street did for transportation, storage, and cremation services. I called around and their rates were more than double of anywhere else. On top of that the man I spoke to was not very pleasant.

Why were we charged if the county was charged?
My loved one was picked up the afternoon of 2/9/2023.
I called 2/11/2023 and was told $3000 direct cremation and our current bill was already $1250.
When we showed up Monday 2/13/2023 the man said we'll just do $900.

Tri-county only a few miles away picked my loved one up on 2/13/2023 stored her until the medical examiner signed off and cremated her for $795.

We were mourning an unexpected loss. Your company absolutely took advantage of us. I will be reaching out to the county tomorrow.

I called on 3/31/2023 as requested but never received a return call.
