Johnny's Pockets

It took me a cpl months to try this place out but when I did I wasn't disappointed. Delicious pizza and really good buffalo tenders. They even served me at the side door when I was walking my dog. They're always really nice and go the extra mile which to me is huge. Dedham is the best food town in my opinion but Johnny's pockets is an outstanding must try!!

Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Strawberry Fields salad was delicious. So was the steak and cheese pocket and the chicken Caesar wrap. Owner and staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Awesome calzones and deep fried Oreos too! A great addition to the neighborhood.

Everyone needs to understand, help doesn’t just grow on trees. The owner can’t just go out and pick the most ripe employees.

Every new business experiences growing pains. Bear with them.

The food is delicious and the people are kind. We need to preserve good local establishments like this one.

Shortsighted comments and reviews from entitled brats don’t help.

If you haven’t tried Johnny’s Pockets - what are you waiting for? Fluffy and warm homemade pita pockets filled with signature sandwich fillings or pick your own. We tried the chicken bomb and the chicken ranch - Sooo good. Then there was the pizza. Delicious!!!! Eat in area was super clean and the staff was amazingly kind and personable!! I highly recommend Johnny’s Pocketa!!!

When the world is cold all I want to do Is wrap myself up in one of those Johnny pocket wraps. It's so warm and never had pocket like this. It's truly amazing, cant go wrong with any of the wraps but my favorite is the steak one. Also the ladies love the Alforno salad. It's a great place to order from with your loved one. All the ingredients seem to be next level and the place is also spotless . Im currently working up the nerve to be on first name basis with these guys. Highly recommend

Consistently great food in a clean and bright environment. Johnny goes above and beyond to make sure customer service is on point. If a mistake is made he makes it right -- last night I ordered a pizza that came out a bit overdone. He immediately made me a new one, and sent me home with complementary desserts for the hassle. The "stuffed pizza" is my new favorite addiction, it's like a pizza and a calzone had a baby. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great atmosphere, great food, and great people. Had the chance to enjoy my meal in the presence oh Johnny himself, great guy . Got to hear the story of how he started the joint. If you’re interested in delicious, clean food in a good atmosphere then this is the place. Had the chicken bacon ranch and I wanted it on a sub roll. Johnny recommended I try it in a pocket instead..I’m glad I listened because I didn’t know the pockets are made in house. Absolutely delicious!

Ordered online for pickup, prompt (20 min). We walked (so happy to have a great place in Oakdale). Upon returning home with our bounty, we noticed one of our pita's wasn't correct - called the restaurant, and they remade the order right away.

Got custom orders of a falafel pita, a cranberry chicken salad pita & fried pickles. The falafel is very tasty - so difficult to find a place that makes it well. This was expertly fried with perfect consistency (not dry), fresh & herbaceous. The cranberry chicken salad is very good as well, though perhaps overly sweet. The fried pickles were lightly battered (tempura like). We'll be back indeed!

I highly recommend Johnny's Pockets. The homemade pockets are incredible, and all of the pocket sandwiches I've tried have been great. Lots of steak on the steak and cheese. The calzones are huge and have a delicious dough. Tasty pizza. I'm so glad they opened up.

Hi, today 2/9/2024 I ordered lunch for my friends birthday. The lunch included the Greek salad grilled chicken wrap, along with the baked pita puffs with hummus. I also ordered here carrot cake and a drink.
I can only tell you she was extremely thrilled with that lunch. She said the wrap was absolutely delicious. The hummus and pita puffs were so good, she said i’ve never seen Pita puffs she was very impressed with the flavor and the texture of everything that she had to eat.
She also said the carrot cake was absolutely scrumptious. I highly recommend Johnnys Pockets
he is the Best.

My partner was a fan of the shop that was previously in this spot, but he has officially told me that he's glad that Johnny's took over! We stopped in to dine in, and the food was delicious!! We both liked the bacon cheese fries, and the fried dough bites were Very tasty!! We will definitely be going back soon!!

Authentic delicious food. This is not your average pizza place Johnny (Yanni, he is Greek and it’s wonderful) knows what he’s doing- how to put flavors together. I go in there and close my eyes and randomly pick something. Got the burger calzone. To die for. I would have never ordered that otherwise. His bread is the absolute best…which makes his pizzas and calzones the best. I highly recommend. Alforno salad and any pizza is fresh and top notch. Just go there already hahaha

My wife got the grilled chicken pocket and I had the shaved steak pocket. Every food item from the homemade pockets, shaved steak, grilled chicken, and the included lettuce, tomato and pickles was delicious. We will return soon to try the pizza, calzone and other items on their extensive menu. Highly recommend Johnny’s Pockets!

If I could give 10 stars I would! The food is fresh. My favorites are the Buffalo chicken pocket and ham and cheese pocket. The pizza is also really good, I pretty much love everything lol. The customer service is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

The pockets are incredible! I especially recommend the Greek and Ceaser salad pockets - the ingredients are so fresh and tasty. I tried the boardwalk pizza for the first time recently and will be adding it to my weekly order! Highly recommend

immediate 5 stars. i ordered delivery from here tonight and the 3rd party driver failed to show up and deliver my food. it was near closing time and Johnny called me and explained the issue. I called the 3rd party but no one picked up, so I called JP back, saying not to worry about my order since I was tipsy and didn't want to drive and pick it up myself. To my suprise, Johnny offered to deliver it himself, he reassured me that when he was done closing, he'd bring me my food, no problem. He called me again right before he left to re-confirm, and a few minutes later, he arrived with my food in hand and a smile on his face. incredible - that made my week!

Went for the 1st time today and had the chicken, ranch, bacon pocket. Absolutely delicious. The place looks great, and the service was excellent.

The shaved steak pocket with provolone is awesome. Love the fresh pocket!
