It's a very nice sushi spot. The lights are dim, and it's a decent size where you can have a conversation without raising your voice. There are tables and a section to sit in front of the Itamae (sushi chef). They have many options, and you can taste the freshness. They have Japanese alcohol available

I came here during my recent stint to Mass. Treat yo self 2022 was in full effect tonight (sorta) lol. I stuck to sushi only and got the spicy tuna maki, Spider roll, and Rainbow roll. All for take out.

Upon entrance I was greeted quickly by staff and the order was ready upon arrival. Talk about quite the spread - Peep the pics. The spicy salmon wasn't too spicy, it still had a kick, but not too bad w/large pieces of meat accompanied by crunchy goodness rolled inside. The Spider roll had a very sizable and delicious SS crab stuffed within. Always a favorite to order, if available, and this hit the spot. Especially the crab itself. Super yummy. The Rainbow roll came in clutch w/fresh fish topping a texture explosion underneath. This was a good cleanser for the finish.

Delicious sushi! The rolls were not cheap but were a really good size. I had the sunset rool which was great. The restaurant is located in the very congested Legacy Place. Best bet for parking is 2nd or 3rd level of garage.

Genki is a stunningly executed sushi restaurant in Legacy Place, and quite frankly the best quality food in the plaza. If you’re with a group that enjoys sushi I can not recommend this place enough.

We started with some fried pork gyoza and moved onto two simple rolls and two specialty rolls. The specialty rolls we order came out pleasantly warm and practically melted in our mouths, while the Smoked Salmon rolls we order were some of the best I’ve had in a while.

While prices aren’t cheap, they’re fair for sushi and considering the locale I may even say priced at a bargain, we certainly would have spent more at some of the surrounding eateries!

Overall I highly recommend this place, though it isn’t overly large so I would recommend checking in early! They have a sign up waiting list on the wall near the entrance if you run into a packed restaurant don’t forget to add your party!

We got the Scorpio bowl for 2 and 3 different sushi cant remember what were they but omg!! They tastes sooo good!! Its a must try spot if you looking for some decent sushi

The Salmon Hand Rolls and Salmon Spring rolls are just as good taken home as they were when we could dine in - minus getting to see our favorite waitress, Angel. They've always hit it out of the park for both food and service. For my birthday last summer, my girlfriend did a covid conscious outdoor gathering at a local park and had it catered by Genki in Dedham. They went above and beyond. Everyone loved the food. We are stoked that they are opening back up for in-person dining this July!

This is my favorite Sushi spot in the Boston area. A great Variety of rolls, cooked and raw. They also have an awesome menu with pictures of each roll. The Doomsday Roll, Seafood Tempura roll, Alligator Roll are my top 3. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and service as well as a good price point! I ordered the salmon teriyaki, and makis from their lunch menu and loved both!

The fish at Genki ALWAYS looks fresh and beautiful. My better half is Miso fanatic and when she says this miso makes the meal worth it, it means its that good. We usually go to the one in Brookline but it is the same menu and deliciousness at Legacy Place

Excellent selection, very inventive rolls, and fast service. The only thing I would add, is a kids menu:)

Food is always good here. Not to expensive for the area and always solid sushi rolls without too much rice. The to-go / pick up is also fast and tastes fresh!

Great sushi and they have good lunch deals. I went with a friend and tried to split a lunch meal, but they have a minimum of $15 per person so they made us add on more food to our order.

Very high quality fish. Tekka Don rice is on the vinegary side (and I like that a lot). Very nice barely flavor comes out in their green tea.

We ordered 3 sushi rolls - California, shrimp California, spicy salmon - and we loved them all. The extra spicy was spicy mayo on top of the sushi. The menu clearly mentions raw/cooked which helps in deciding. Would definitely try more next time.

We ordered the two torched rolls and crab roll and they were all absolutely delicious! One of the best sushis I had in the area.

Went there for my daughter's birthday with her aunts, atmosphere was great n d service was immaculate. D food was delicious, I myself had d filet mignon, my daughter had d Hawaiian chicken. I recommend d visit I think u will enjoy ur time there.

I have been here twice and yet it's still a nice place for some sushi. They even had kimchi which was delicious.
